Abstract

This study examines the relationships between the marketing mix, consumer satisfaction, and consumer loyalty among WildBee Honey consumers in Surabaya, with particular attention to the mediating role of consumer satisfaction. A quantitative survey approach was employed involving consumers selected through purposive sampling based on the criteria of being at least 17 years old and having purchased and consumed WildBee Honey. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using IBM SPSS Statistics through validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression, hypothesis testing, and mediation analysis. The findings show that the marketing mix has a positive and significant effect on both consumer satisfaction and consumer loyalty. Consumer satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on consumer loyalty, and the marketing mix and consumer satisfaction jointly contribute significantly to consumer loyalty. However, the indirect effect of the marketing mix on consumer loyalty through consumer satisfaction is not statistically significant, indicating that consumer satisfaction does not mediate this relationship. Thus, the marketing mix and consumer satisfaction operate as distinct direct determinants of consumer loyalty rather than through a confirmed mediation mechanism. The findings suggest that WildBee Honey should prioritize coordinated improvements in product quality, product accessibility, promotional effectiveness, and service delivery, while strengthening consumer satisfaction as an independent driver of loyalty. This integrated approach provides a more relevant basis for sustaining consumer relationships in the competitive honey market.

Abstract

The shift from conventional office-based work to more flexible arrangements such as hybrid working and work from home (WFH) has raised questions about their effect on employee work motivation. This study aims to examine the influence of hybrid working and WFH, both partially and simultaneously, on employee work motivation. A quantitative causal research design was employed, involving 100 employees selected through random sampling from various companies that have implemented hybrid working and/or WFH systems. Data were collected using an online questionnaire and analyzed through validity and reliability testing, classical assumption testing, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results show that hybrid working has a significant positive effect on work motivation (t = 4.229; sig. = 0.000), and WFH also has a significant positive effect on work motivation (t = 3.034; sig. = 0.003). Simultaneously, hybrid working and WFH significantly influence work motivation (F = 20.314; sig. = 0.000), explaining 29.5% of its variance (Adjusted R² = 0.295). These findings indicate that flexible work arrangements, particularly WFH, play a dominant role in enhancing employee motivation by providing greater autonomy and a better work-life balance. Companies are encouraged to design clear policies that balance flexibility with structured communication and support in order to sustain employee motivation and performance within hybrid and remote working environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Learning Management System (LMS) quality and work-unit mentoring on training participant satisfaction, with learning engagement as a mediating variable. The research was conducted on participants of the 2025 Priority Functional Technical Training at BP2TL Jakarta. This study uses a quantitative method with a survey approach. The research sample consisted of 140 respondents determined using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert-scale questionnaire and analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method. The results show that LMS quality has a positive effect on learning engagement and training participant satisfaction. Work-unit mentoring is also proven to have a positive effect on learning engagement and training participant satisfaction. In addition, learning engagement has a positive effect on training participant satisfaction. Compared to LMS quality, work-unit mentoring has a greater effect on learning engagement, while learning engagement is the strongest factor in shaping participant satisfaction. These findings confirm the importance of LMS quality, strengthened mentoring, and increased participant engagement in the implementation of self-directed learning. This study provides implications for BP2TL Jakarta to continue developing the role of mentoring sustainably and improving LMS quality to support the competency development of civil servants (ASN).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effects of flash sales and urgency marketing on impulse buying, both directly and indirectly through Fear of Missing Out (FOMO) as a mediating variable among e-commerce users in Indonesia. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. Data were collected through a survey of 92 e-commerce users selected using purposive sampling, with the inclusion criteria of being at least 17 years old, actively using e-commerce platforms, and having made purchases during flash sale events. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4. The results indicate that flash sales have no significant effect on either impulse buying or FOMO. In contrast, urgency marketing has a positive and significant effect on FOMO but does not have a significant direct effect on impulse buying. FOMO has a positive and significant effect on impulse buying. The mediation analysis shows that FOMO does not mediate the relationship between flash sales and impulse buying, whereas FOMO mediates the relationship between urgency marketing and impulse buying while its direct effect on impulse buying is not significant. These findings indicate that impulsive purchasing behavior is more strongly influenced by the psychological mechanism of FOMO triggered by urgency marketing. Theoretically, these findings extend the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework by distinguishing promotional stimuli that primarily provide economic incentives, such as flash sales, from urgency cues that more directly activate an internal psychological response in the form of FOMO, which subsequently drives impulse buying. The study highlights the importance of urgency-based marketing strategies in e-commerce.

Abstract

Agricultural activities produce biological assets consisting of non-bearing plants, bearing plants, and harvested produce in the form of Tandan Buah Segar (TBS), which hold material value in the financial statements of plantation companies. This research aims to analyze the appropriateness of the recognition, measurement, and disclosure of biological assets at PT. DSN East Kalimantan based on Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (PSAK) 241. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive-comparative approach. The research data consisted of secondary data obtained from the financial statements and notes to the financial statements of PT. DSN. The company’s accounting practices were systematically compared with the predetermined requirements of PSAK 241 through descriptive-comparative document analysis. The results of the research indicate that the recognition of biological assets at PT. DSN is in accordance with PSAK 241, whereby biological assets are recognized when the company has control over the assets, there are future economic benefits, and the value of the assets can be measured reliably. Regarding measurement, PT. DSN applies the historical cost method, which is permitted under PSAK 241 when the fair value of biological assets cannot be reliably measured. Furthermore, regarding disclosure, PT. DSN has disclosed the types of biological assets it holds, the classifications of Tanaman Belum Menghasilkan (TBM) and Tanaman Menghasilkan (TM), as well as the measurement basis used in the financial statements.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of implementing Learning Management System (LMS)-based hybrid learning on the satisfaction of Level III, IV, and V seafarer upgrading training participants at the Jakarta Sea Transportation Education and Training Center (BP2TL Jakarta), with technology acceptance and digital literacy as mediating variables. This study uses a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research population consisted of 172 participants divided into the Nautical Officer and Marine Engineering programs at Levels III, IV, and V. The sample was determined using a stratified random sampling technique based on the criteria of Hair et al. (2021), with a minimum of 150 respondents, and 163 valid questionnaires were successfully collected. Data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) method with the help of SmartPLS software. The results show that the implementation of LMS-based hybrid learning has a positive and significant effect on technology acceptance, digital literacy, and training participants' satisfaction. Digital literacy was also proven to have a positive and significant effect on training participants' satisfaction, while technology acceptance had no significant effect on training participants' satisfaction. The mediation analysis further shows that digital literacy significantly mediates the relationship between LMS-based hybrid learning and training participants' satisfaction, whereas technology acceptance does not demonstrate a significant mediating role. This pattern indicates that digital literacy provides a partial mediation mechanism because LMS-based hybrid learning remains directly associated with training participant satisfaction. These findings indicate that the success of LMS-based learning is not only determined by participants' acceptance of technology but is more determined by participants' ability to effectively utilize digital technology to support the learning process. This study implies that BP2TL Jakarta needs to continue improving the quality of its LMS, strengthening participants' digital literacy, and developing a more flexible, interactive hybrid learning model that suits the needs of seafarer training participants.

Abstract

Forecasting is an important function of operations management, providing a basis for decision-making in the face of uncertainty. This study aims to compare the performance of the Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (ARIMA), Moving Average (MA), and Exponential Smoothing (ES) methods in forecasting the BI Rate, while also enriching the body of references on the application of forecasting methods in operations management. A comparative quantitative approach was employed using secondary BI Rate data in the form of a time series. The ARIMA model was developed using the Box–Jenkins procedure, while Moving Average and Exponential Smoothing were employed as comparative methods. Forecasting accuracy was evaluated using Mean Absolute Deviation (MAD), Mean Squared Error (MSE), and Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE). The results show that the three-period Moving Average (MA-3) achieved the highest forecasting accuracy, with a MAD of 0.001689, MSE of 0.0000074, and MAPE of 3.415%. Exponential Smoothing with α = 0.25 yielded a MAD of 0.006682, MSE of 0.0000562, and MAPE of 15.101%, whereas ARIMA(1,1,0) produced a MAD of 0.008929, MSE of 0.0000797, and MAPE of 19.971%. These findings indicate that a more complex method does not necessarily produce greater forecasting accuracy. Given the relatively stable characteristics of the BI Rate data, the Moving Average method provided more accurate forecasts than Exponential Smoothing and ARIMA. This study also demonstrates that the application of ARIMA can serve as an alternative approach for enriching the teaching and study of forecasting in the field of operations management.

Abstract

Indonesia's financial inclusion has expanded through digital financial services, while financial literacy remains lower than financial inclusion, creating a persistent capability gap in digital financial decision-making. This study examines the relationship between digital financial literacy and investment intention through two parallel mediators: financial self-efficacy and risk perception. Data were collected in 2026 from 120 Indonesian users of digital financial applications through purposive sampling and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 3. The measurement model met the required criteria for convergent validity, discriminant validity, and reliability. Digital financial literacy had significant positive effects on financial self-efficacy and risk perception, but its direct effect on investment intention was not statistically significant. Financial self-efficacy and risk perception each had significant positive effects on investment intention, and both specific indirect effects were significant while the direct path was not. These results establish an indirect-only mediation pattern in which digital financial literacy is associated with investment intention through financial confidence and informed risk perception. The study contributes to behavioral finance by demonstrating two parallel psychological mechanisms that connect digital financial literacy with investment intention and by highlighting practical implications for digital financial education.

Abstract

Manufacturing companies operating in volatile and uncertain environments require the capacity to anticipate, absorb, adapt to, and recover from disruption. This study examines the association between perceived organizational support and perceived organizational resilience, with employee engagement and readiness for change positioned as parallel mediators. Data were collected from 100 permanent employees of manufacturing companies who had at least one year of tenure and direct experience with organizational change or restructuring. Respondents were selected through purposive sampling, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The measurement model demonstrated adequate reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity. Perceived organizational support was positively associated with employee engagement (β = 0.541, p < 0.001) and readiness for change (β = 0.617, p < 0.001), while its direct association with perceived organizational resilience was not statistically significant (β = 0.108, p = 0.421). Employee engagement (β = 0.383, p < 0.001) and readiness for change (β = 0.333, p = 0.003) were positively associated with perceived organizational resilience. Both specific indirect paths were significant, establishing an indirect-only mediation pattern. The findings identify two distinct employee-level mechanisms linking perceived organizational support with perceived organizational resilience: engagement in current work roles and readiness to adapt to organizational change. The study contributes to human resource management research by integrating these mechanisms within a single manufacturing-sector model.

Abstract

Electronic wallets (e-wallets) have expanded access to digital payments in Indonesia, while usage decisions remain linked to users’ ability to evaluate digital financial services and their trust in providers. This study examines the influence of digital financial literacy on e-wallet usage decisions, with trust in fintech as the mediating variable. Data were collected from 75 active e-wallet users in Indonesia who were at least 18 years old and had used an e-wallet for a minimum of three months; respondents were selected through purposive sampling. The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The measurement model met the reported reliability, convergent validity, and discriminant validity criteria. Digital financial literacy had a significant positive effect on trust in fintech, but its direct effect on e-wallet usage decisions was not statistically significant. Trust in fintech had a significant positive effect on e-wallet usage decisions, and the significant indirect path combined with the non-significant direct path indicates indirect-only mediation. The results establish trust in fintech as the mechanism through which digital financial literacy is associated with e-wallet usage decisions in this sample. The study contributes to digital financial behavior research and provides practical direction for fintech providers to strengthen trust alongside user financial capability.
