Abstract

Micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) have a strategic role in driving economic growth, especially in South Solok Regency. However, the main challenges faced are improving product quality in order to attract consumer interest and utilizing digital marketing effectively. This article discusses strategic efforts to improve the quality of MSME products through innovation and standardization, as well as the application of digital marketing strategies to expand market reach. The methods used include market needs analysis, product quality training, and implementation of technology-based digital marketing. The results show that improving product quality not only improves the competitiveness of MSMEs, but also attracts the attention of local and global consumers. In addition, the utilization of digital marketing is proven to strengthen brand awareness and expand market access. The development of MSMEs in South Solok Regency requires a holistic approach that includes improving product quality and optimizing digital marketing. Superior product quality is key in meeting consumer expectations while creating a competitive advantage. Meanwhile, digital marketing offers great opportunities to reach a wider market and is cost-efficient. By utilizing digital platforms such as social media, e-commerce, and search engine optimization strategies, MSMEs can introduce products more effectively to potential customers. The combination of product innovation and strategic digital marketing not only increases sales, but also strengthens the brand identity of MSMEs in an increasingly competitive market. Improving product quality is an important factor in supporting the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), especially in South Solok Regency. This article discusses strategies that can be applied to improve the quality of MSME products so that they can attract consumers more effectively. In addition, the discussion also focuses on the application of digital marketing as a step to expand market reach and improve the competitiveness of MSMEs in the current technological era. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method which involves product development through the process of needs analysis, design, testing, and evaluation.

Abstract

This article discusses the design of promotional media for micro, small and medium enterprise (MSME) products in North Padang Lawas by utilizing the OpenChart platform. In the digital era, the existence of effective promotional media is very important to increase the visibility and competitiveness of MSME products. This research identifies the problems faced by MSMEs to promote products online and explores the potential of OpenChart as a user-friendly and efficient solution. The method used in the research is R & D research, which includes needs analysis, prototyping and usability testing. The result of this design is the creation of an OpenChart-based MSME product promotion media in the North Padang Lawas district. Also this promotional media can be utilized in people's lives around the world. It can also expand market reach and can increase sales. And also the success of the promotion of MSME products in North Padang Lawas district. Thus this research can be expected to be a reference for other MSMEs and policy guides in increasing product competitiveness through the use of information technology. The purpose of this research is to produce OpenChart-based MSME product promotion media in North Padang Lawas district. This research involves training MSME players about OpenChart, developing attractive marketing content, as well as data analysis, sales, and promotion to the community in the district.

Abstract

This article discusses the challenges faced by Naras local handicrafts in the face of rapid changes in the digital age, especially in marketing, which still relies on traditional methods. The inability to adopt modern technology makes it difficult for Naras local products to compete in an increasingly competitive global market. This research offers an innovative solution by designing an e-commerce e-shop system using the OpenCart platform, specifically designed to support the marketing of local handicraft and garment products to reach a wider audience in an effective and efficient manner. Using a structured research and development (R&D) methodology, this research went through four main stages, namely define, design, develop and disseminate, to create a digital platform that is not only practical in execution, but also strategic in meeting the needs of the digital market. The results show that this OpenCart based e-shop system is valid, practical, and effective in improving the competitiveness of local products and helping artisans overcome geographical limitations that have been an obstacle to the distribution of their products. The platform functions not only as a modern marketing tool, but also as a driver of digital transformation capable of increasing the visibility, attractiveness and contribution of the local creative economy to the global economy. With this innovative approach, Naras' handicraft products have a strong presence in the market.

Abstract

The problem faced in this research is the limited promotion of local food products, especially chips produced by MSMEs in Tanjung Mutiara District. This is due to the low utilization of information technology and digital platforms in product marketing, so that the wider market potential cannot be maximized. To overcome these problems, this research aims to design and develop an OpenCart-based e-commerce platform that can help promote and market chip products. With this platform, it is expected that MSME players can increase the visibility of their products, reach wider consumers, and ultimately increase business income significantly. To overcome these problems, this research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the 4-D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Distribute). The results showed that the OpenCart-based e-commerce platform developed successfully met the needs of MSMEs in promoting chip products in Tanjung Mutiara sub-district. Testing has proven that the platform is effective in significantly increasing product visibility, expanding market reach, and accelerating transactions. In addition, user response to the platform is very positive, with most entrepreneurs stating that the system helps them save time and costs in marketing activities. The findings of this study are that the design of an OpenCart-based e-commerce platform can effectively help MSMEs in Tanjung Mutiara sub-district to improve the promotion and marketing of chip products.

Abstract

The development of information technology opens up great opportunities for home industry businesses to reach a wider market through e-commerce. In this research, an OpenCart-based e-commerce system is designed for businesses that process fabrics into various types of clothing, with the main objective of increasing sales and operational efficiency. So far, the promotion of products from the home industry is often only done through certain applications that are limited to the local market and less known in general. In fact, today's rapidly developing technology allows home industry products to be better known by the wider community, even in the global market. The methodology used in this research includes needs analysis, system design, implementation, and testing, with a focus on implementing the OpenCart platform as a flexible and easy-to-operate e-commerce solution. The main features of the designed system include a complete product catalogue, shopping cart, online payment system, inventory management, and integrated sales reports. OpenCart was chosen due to its ease of use, as well as being supported by a wide community and sufficient resources for further development. The implementation results show that this e-commerce system makes it easier for customers to search, select, and buy products online, and allows businesses to manage orders and stock items more efficiently. The system is also equipped with promotional features and social media integration that expand marketing reach, increase product visibility, and open up sales opportunities in the global market. The evaluation shows that the implementation of OpenCart-based e-commerce has a positive impact, both in terms of revenue and operational efficiency, as well as introducing local products to the international market, which increases product competitiveness in the global market.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprises (MSMEs) now have more chances to increase their competitiveness in a market that is becoming more and more competitive due to the quick growth of digital technology. Nonetheless, a large number of MSMEs in Bukittinggi continue to market their goods via traditional methods including word-of-mouth, direct sales, and local exhibits. Slow business growth is the outcome of these advertising strategies' constraints in reaching a larger market. Using Opencart as a web-based promotional tool, this study seeks to address these issues. MSMEs should be able to access a wider audience, make their products more visible, and run their businesses more effectively via this platform. Four stages make up the development model used in this study, which employs the Research and Development (R&D) method: define (user needs), design (system design), create (application development), and disseminate (results). The outcome of this study is a web-based marketing tool created with Opencart. MSMEs may easily manage products, digitally display catalogs, and complete online transactions with this solution. The results of the study demonstrate that Opencart can boost marketing reach, improve promotional efficacy, and support the expansion of MSMEs in Bukittinggi. As a result, Opencart may be a useful tool for helping MSMEs in the modern day with their digital transformation. Additionally, with its appealing design and user-friendly navigation, this web-based promotional material can give customers a better shopping experience. In the long run, it is anticipated that MSMEs will benefit from this enhanced digital presence by seeing an increase in revenue and client loyalty. Opencart can therefore be a useful tool for assisting MSMEs in their digital transition and enhancing their ability to compete in the industrial age.

Abstract

This research aims to develop and implement a web-based application, namely Opencart, as a solution to increase the promotion and marketing reach of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in X Koto District. Currently, most of the promotion and marketing of MSME products in X Koto District is still carried out conventionally and only uses general social media so that the reach of promotion is still relatively narrow, limited to only known people. In this era of digital technology, with the development of E-Business and E-Commerce as business media and online buying and selling transactions, MSMEs should be able to follow the flow of global developments in order to increase the reach of product promotion and marketing to a wider range. This research adopts the Research and Development (R&D) model, namely steps to develop new products and improve existing products using the ADDIE (systematic program development) development model. So the aim of this research is to produce a product promotion and marketing media for MSMEs in the form of a web-based application using Opencart application technology.  It is hoped that this media can support MSMEs so that they can increase their competitiveness and expand their reach in product promotion and marketing from local, national to international.

Abstract

Pasar Bawah Bukittinggi is a traditional trading center that sells a variety of local handicraft products, but businesses in this market still face limited access to online marketing and sales in the midst of digital era competition. This research aims to design and implement OpenCart-based e-commerce using the PPE (Planning, Development and Evaluation) method to improve marketing and sales of craft products. System needs analysis was conducted through interviews and observations of business actors. The e-commerce development included product management features, online transactions, and social media integration. Evaluation involved end-user testing and analysis of sales data before and after implementation. The results showed that OpenCart-based e-commerce improved market competitiveness, expanded consumer reach, and increased product sales by 35%. Businesses that previously had limited access to technology now have a platform that simplifies the transaction and marketing process. In addition, this research contributes to the digitalization efforts of MSMEs in Indonesia, particularly in helping traditional markets adopt technology to improve competitiveness. Globally, this model can be adapted by traditional markets in developing countries to encourage the digitalization of the traditional trade sector. Thus, the implementation of OpenCart-based e-commerce in Pasar Bawah Bukittinggi proves that the traditional market is not just a market.

Abstract

The Simpang Kiri sub-district, one of the areas that is in the process of developing, Simpang Kiri sub-district needs a platform to make it easier for food sellers to reach wider product promotions. The solution for food sellers in Simpang Kiri sub-district can be implemented by building an opencart-based online shop, an e-commerce platform that is flexible and easy to implement. This research aims to design an opencart-based online shop for food products in Simpang Kiri sub-district, and make it easier to sell and attract the attention of consumers. The development model used in this research is a research and development model with an analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation approach. The conclusion of this research shows that using Opencart as an e-commerce platform can make it easier for food sellers in Simpang Kiri sub-district to promote their products. Therefore, with the right design and effective promotion, if the promotion runs effectively, the Simpang Kiri sub-district will develop rapidly, reach more consumers and be wider.

Abstract

Technological developments have brought changes to product marketing and sales, especially for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). This research aims to develop an E-Commerce based sales strategy for MSMEs in the craft sectors in Padang City, as an effort to increase competitiveness and expand market access. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, field observations and literature studies. The results of this research show that the application of E-Commerce can bring various benefits to MSMEs, such as operational cost efficiency, increased access to a wider market and more effective marketing opportunities. However, these craft and MSMEs also face several challenges, such as limited technological knowledge so that the owners of these MSMEs still promote their products traditionally and are not widely known by the public, logistical constraints and access to digital infrastructure. As a solution, this research recommends developing a sales strategy that includes training on how to use e-commerce platforms, optimizing social media for promotions, and partnering with local logistics partners. The implementation of this strategy is expected to help craft MSMEs and incubators in Padang City utilize the potential of E-Commerce to the fullest to increase sales and support regional economic growth.
