Jurnal Keislaman is published online by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Taruna Surabaya in March 2018 as a continuation to the previously printed journal, which was initially published in 2012. Jurnal Keislaman was registered as p-ISSN (2089-7413) and e-ISSN (2722-7804) at BRIN. Jurnal Keislaman has been a member of crossref with DOI prefix 10.54298. Therefore, each article has a unique DOI number.

Abstract

This article discusses the relevance of the first principle of Pancasila for the realization of religious harmonization in Indonesia, which is still seen as contrary to the concept of tauhidullah for muslim communities in Indonesia. The author identifies these problems, including the relationship between the first principle or Pancasila and tauhidullah, the relationship between muslim and non muslim in national and state life, as well as the relevance of the principle og Belief in One Almighty God and tauhidullah fir muslim community in Indonesia . The result of the research include: (1) The relationship between the first principle of Pancasila and the concept of tauhidullah, namely that both attempt to teach the concept of the oneness of God; (2) The first principle of Pancasila and the concept of tauhidullah teach the importance of good relations between muslim and non muslim in the live of plural society in Indonesia; (3) The rinciples of belief in the Almightty God and the concept of tauhidullah have close relevance, especially maintaining tolerance between religious communities.

Abstract

This study is based on the importance of implementing character education values ​​in madrasas, which in fact are educational institutions under the auspices of Islamic boarding schools. MA Bustanul 'Ulum under the auspices of the Bustanul 'Ulum Development Islamic Boarding School Education Foundation (YPPPBU) Central Lampung is one of the Islamic educational institutions that has long implemented character education. This qualitative research aims to determine and analyze character education management using a socio-cultural values ​​approach at MA Bustanul 'Ulum Jayasakti, Central Lampung. This research uses a qualitative research approach by taking research informants from foundation leaders, madrasa leaders, and five teachers' councils. Through in-depth interview techniques, observation, and documentation, data was collected from informants which was then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. To ensure the validity of the data, researchers used data triangulation. In the end, this research found the fact that the internalization of character education values ​​at MA Bustanul 'Ulum was carried out through a planning, implementation and evaluation process with certain steps. The planning involved the entire madrasah and Islamic boarding school management team, considering that this madrasah is a madrasah within the scope of Islamic boarding schools. With careful planning and determining the person in charge of the education program, the implementation of character education is carried out well through intracurricular and extracurricular learning activities that are integrated with Islamic boarding schools. The research results have implications for the importance of strengthening digital literacy in order to strengthen the values ​​of character education.

Abstract

This article discusses the importance of synergizing the three types of human intelligence, namely spiritual, emotional and intellectual intelligence, through the perspective of revelation. According to the Quran, humans were created with hearing, sight and conscience as a means to understand and manage themselves in a balanced manner. Spiritual intelligence is related to the human ability to establish a close relationship with the Creator, emotional intelligence is related to the ability to manage emotions and empathize, and intellectual intelligence is related to the ability to think critically, creatively, and innovatively. The research approach in this study will use a qualitative approach with a library research method. Where this research wants to explore and understand the concept and perspective of revelation in synergizing spiritual, emotional, and intellectual intelligence. The data analysis technique in this research is content analysis where the process is to analyze the content and meaning of the data sources collected, then interpretation and synthesis, namely by understanding, interpreting, and synthesizing information from various sources to build a comprehensive understanding. The results show that the current phenomenon shows that many people only develop one aspect of intelligence, resulting in an imbalance. Individuals who only focus on developing intellectual intelligence tend to become rigid, self-centered, and insensitive. Conversely, individuals who only develop spiritual and emotional intelligence tend to be less able to think critically and face life's challenges effectively. Therefore, this article emphasizes the importance of synergizing the three aspects of intelligence through the perspective of revelation so that humans can achieve true blessings and happiness in life and carry out their functions and responsibilities as caliphs on earth.

Abstract

The importance of developing moral education which includes holistic and sustainable aspects has highlighted attention to the moral education model. The book "Nashoihul Ibad" written by Sheikh Imam Nawawi Al-bantani is widely recognized as one of the main references in efforts to enrich Islamic morals. This research aims to conduct an analysis of the moral education model contained in the book "Nashoihul Ibad". The research method uses library research. The research results explain that moral education in the Nashoihul Ibad book consists of three models: First, moral education by instilling awareness about divinity and its relationship with humans. Second, moral education through the formation of noble attitudes and behavior and relationships with fellow humans. Third, moral education further develops personal qualities including fortitude, honesty, courage and responsibility in a social context.

Abstract

Kawin mayit is a marriage ceremony conducted in the presence of a deceased parent's body when an engaged couple, whose engagement had been established, experiences the passing of one of the parents. Subsequently, the surviving partner and the deceased parent must solemnize their marriage vows in the presence of the deceased parent's body before it is interred. The aim of this research is to examine the reality of customary law in practice in Bojonegoro, East Java, and to analyze the compatibility of kawin mayit within Islamic law, as well as the Islamic values embedded within it. This study falls within the category of empirical research and employs a phenomenological approach. The results of this study indicate that the tradition of kawin mayit is carried out as a form of filial respect toward one's deceased parents. This practice holds inherent religious value in its observance. In Islamic law, there is no contradiction regarding the solemnization of marriage vows in the presence of a deceased body, as long as the conditions and essential elements of marriage are met. This practice can be aligned with the stance of the companions of the Prophet at the time of his passing.

Abstract

This article was prepared with the aim of examining the criteria for leadership, Imam Al-Ghazali's perspective in the book Ihya' Ulumuddin developed rapidly among pious Salafus. With a deeper understanding of the thinking of the leader, Abu Ḥamid Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad ibn Muḥammad Al-Ghazali Al-Safi'i , also known as Al-Ghazali, an Islamic hujjah (1058–1111 AD), highlighted the substantive component of the usefulness of religious teaching rather than the formal symbolic aspect, bringing together elements that had been separated from the figure of the leader; Leaders must be elected by the people. Imam Al-Ghazali defines an ideal leader as a leader who upholds morality, science and religion. they must also be able to influence the environment in which they operate, heal and prevent destruction in their country or organization, and create a just and prosperous society. The method used is library research, and data analysis using a symbolic interaction approach. It is hoped that the results of this research can explain Imam Al-Ghazali's views regarding leaders in the book Ihya' Ulumuddin.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the dynamics of social harmony in the perspective of Islam in contemporary society, considering the influence of global contexts and technological developments. A deep understanding of the religious values of Islam, active involvement in religious activities, and contributions to social activities are the focus of the study. The research method uses a qualitative approach by collecting data through religious literature studies, analyzing government regulations related to social harmony, and direct observation of the social dynamics of contemporary society. The data is then analyzed qualitatively to identify patterns in maintaining social harmony. The results show that understanding religious teachings is the main foundation for maintaining harmony, while active involvement in religious activities and contributions to social activities play a crucial role in forming harmonious social relationships. Challenges related to differences in religious understanding and the impact of global contexts and technological developments highlight the complexity of maintaining social harmony. As a recommendation, this study emphasizes the need for inclusive religious education, promotion of active involvement in religious activities, and strengthening social activities as key steps. Strategies to adapt to global and technological changes are also identified as important steps to overcome these challenges. The conclusion of this study is expected to provide guidance for stakeholders in dealing with the complex dynamics of maintaining social harmony in the perspective of Islam in contemporary society that is constantly changing.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the frequent occurrence of children committing acts such as bullying, violence, and a lack of politeness and courtesy. Among the factors causing this is that the teacher's strategy in teaching religion and morals is not in accordance with the learning objectives. This study aims to determine the teacher's strategy for teaching religious and moral values to children aged 4-6 years. The research approach used a qualitative approach through the case study method. The data source for this research is Early Childhood Education (ECE) teachers at Kober Raudhotul Jannah Cicalengka and RA Arraudotunnur Garut Regency, with as many as five informants. Data analysis techniques have three main steps: data reduction, data display, and verification. The results concluded that teachers do not fully understand the learning objectives of religion and morals at the PAUD level. Teachers use a variety of methods in accordance with predetermined learning objectives. The methods used by teachers include habituation methods, exemplary singing, role-playing, and tourism work

Abstract

This research aims to determine the progress of K.H Mujib Imron in developing Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions at the Al-Yasini Pasuruan Islamic boarding school. The problem in this research is the progress of Kiai Mujib Imron as an Islamic boarding school leader and as a public official in developing Islamic boarding school-based educational institutions at the Al-Yasini Pasuruan Islamic boarding school. The research approach used is descriptive qualitative research. The research uses two data sources, namely, primary and secondary. Observation, interview and documentation techniques were used to collect data. The data analysis procedure goes through the stages of data reduction, data display and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that K.H Mujib Imron's dual role as a kiai and as Deputy Regent of Pasuruan runs well and is in synergy with each other. This is shown by his istiqomahan in carrying out religious activities at the Islamic boarding school, such as reciting the books Ta'lim Muta'alim and Fatkhul Qorib as well as the books Shohih Bukhori and Tafsir Jalalain. Apart from that, two strategic steps were taken, namely in developing educational institutions, namely; 1) internal strategy, namely by motivating every head of educational institution to innovate in implementing an integrated curriculum that is competitive in accordance with current developments in the era of modernity, without neglecting religious education; 2) external strategy, namely by introducing the Al-Yasini educational institution more widely , both at regional level and abroad.

Abstract

he purpose of conducting this research is so that as a Muslim who lives in a country with various ethnicities, races and religions, he can determine the correct attitude according to Islamic law according to the Koran and al-Hadith. The researcher used a qualitative research type of library study using various relevant scientific reference sources and then documented it using a normative, philosophical approach. The results of this research are that a Muslim needs to have an attitude of religious moderation in state life without having to compromise his religious beliefs, apart from that it is clearly stated in the Koran that as a Muslim it is forbidden for him to insult the deities of other religions according to Yusuf Al-Qaradawi's thoughts.
