Abstract

This research aims to explore and identify the various sources and mechanisms contributing to revenue generation in the banking sector within the City of Medan. The study delves into the intricate details of revenue streams, assessing the diverse sources, instruments, and strategies employed by banks to generate income. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach, the research incorporates both quantitative data analysis and qualitative insights from key stakeholders within the banking industry. The quantitative aspect involves the analysis of financial statements, income reports, and performance indicators, providing a comprehensive overview of revenue trends. Key focal points of the research include the identification of interest income, fee-based income, and other ancillary sources contributing to the overall revenue of banks in Medan. The qualitative component involves interviews and discussions with banking executives and regulators to gather nuanced insights into the strategies employed for revenue diversification and sustainability. Preliminary findings indicate a diverse landscape of revenue sources, including traditional banking activities, innovative financial products, and digital services. Abstract

This study aims to find out how the influence of Work Experience (X1), Emotional Issues (X2), and Training (X3) on the Work Ability (Y) Employees at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Office Branch Rantau Prapat North Sumatera. The population in this study is the entire Employee at PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Office Branch Rantau Prapat North Sumatera which has 50 permanent employees. The sample was taken as a population of 49 respondents not including the head of the Branch. The research was conducted from April to June 2023. This study uses quantitative data processed with SPSS version 20.0 with a dual linear regression model. The results of the study showed that Work Experience had a positive and significant impact on the employability of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Office Branch Rantau Prapat North Sumatera. Based on the result of 7,345 while the table was 2,012 and significant of 0,000, so that the number of 7,335> tables 2,012 is significant and significant 0,000< 0,05. Emotional issues have a positive impact and significant effect on the employment capacity of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Office Branch Rantau Prapat North Sumatera. Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the effectiveness and reliability of Internet of Things (IoT) technologies in the context of monitoring and control of household electronic appliances. Rapid developments in the IoT domain have opened up new opportunities to integrate home appliances into a connected digital ecosystem, with the aim of improving user efficiency, convenience, and security. The methodology of this research includes the implementation of an IoT infrastructure consisting of sensors, actuators, and communication platforms, as well as the development of control applications via mobile devices. Selected household electronic appliances, such as lighting devices, air conditioners, and security systems, will be integrated into the IoT network to facilitate remote monitoring and control. During the evaluation, performance parameters such as response time, connection reliability, and energy consumption will be measured and analyzed. In addition, user experience in using the control application via mobile devices will also be evaluated through questionnaires and interviews. The results of this study are expected to provide in-depth insights into the potential and limitations of IoT implementation for monitoring and control of household electronic appliances. The implications of the results of this study can support the development of better solutions in creating a smart, efficient, and customizable home environment according to individual preferences and needs.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine and analyze the SWOT formulation of the shell industry business in Provinsi Sumatera Utara. The data processing and analysis methods used were factor tests and discriminant analysis using the Cochran and Kaiser Meyer Olkin Measure of Sampling (KMO) tests. It is hoped that the results of this research can strengthen the results of previous year's research by exploring potential marketing strategies and comparisons of each industry. The formulation of a blue ocean strategy that can be recommended to Provinsi Sumatera Utara Small and Medium Industries (HCI), includes: (1) Through the six paths framework, there are four alternatives that can be used by Provinsi Sumatera Utara SMEs to reconstruct its market boundaries, including looking at alternative industries, strategic groups, complementary product and service offerings, and emotional-functional appeal for buyers. (2) Formulation of a four-step framework by enhancing hospitality and decorum; as well as creating hall or auditorium packages for exhibitions as well as product packages, supporting facilities, promotions via social networks, light visualization concepts, and rental of stands to provide appetizers. (3) Strategy formulation has three good characteristics, namely focusing on service and improving product marketing, divergent with the creation of new factors that can make Provinsi Sumatera Utara SMEs stay away from competition. Formulation Model The competitive strategy for the Shellfish industry is formulated using the SWOT Strategy, namely (1) The appropriate SWOT strategy for Shellfish SMEs in developing their business and facing competition between businesses (commercial studies) is another market penetration strategy that emerges from the QSPM matrix. (2) The factor that is the advantage of the Shell Shell HCI which can be used to increase competitiveness in facing competition between used tire businesses is the cheaper price factor. (3) There are 9 key strategic factors that influence competition between HCI Shellfish and its competitors, these strategic factors are finance, price, operational techniques, operational costs, facilities and infrastructure, promotion and advertising, transportation facilities, service quality, completeness of business operational equipment.

Abstract

The flavor and quantity of Arabica coffee are considered to be superior to those of Robusta coffee, and Arabica coffee also contains a lower amount of caffeine. Arabica coffee production and community welfare are known as factors Y in this study. Labor, consumption, land area, and distribution are referred to as variables X. This study was conducted using the Path Analysis method in Sinaman II Village to Pamatang Sidamanik District, Simalungun Regency. Using the SPSS program version 24.0 for Windows, the data that was collected from the distribution of questionnaires was processed. Through the use of arabica coffee output as an intervening variable in Sinaman II Village, the objective of this study is to investigate the impact that these important or positive aspects have on the well-being of farming communities. The findings, which were based on path analysis, demonstrated that the wellbeing of the community is influenced collectively by the independent variables of labor, consumption, land area, and distribution. Additionally, the production of Arabica coffee is able to accommodate any and all circumstances.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the factors of people's business credit (KUR), business development, workforce, productivity, distribution, business location, selling price, length of business relevant to increasing the income of MSME customers in Aceh Province. The factors studied are people's business credit (KUR), business development, workforce, productivity, distribution, business location, selling price, length of business relevant to increasing the income of MSME customers in Aceh Province and these relevant factors have a positive and significant effect on MSME customer income. With a sample size of 253 respondents, the data was collected by distributing questionnaires and processing the data using the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) analysis method and multiple linear regression analysis methods. This research is motivated by the development of the potential of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia which cannot be separated from banking support in channeling financing to MSME entrepreneurs. To reduce the problems faced by MSMEs, the government is trying to issue a People's Business Credit (KUR) program. Based on the results of the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test in the KMO and Bartlett's test tables, it shows that selling price, productivity, distribution and length of business have a significant effect on the income of MSME customers in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh. And the results of multiple linear regression testing show that the results of partial hypothesis testing show that selling price, productivity, distribution and length of business have a significant effect on the income of MSME customers in Bener Meriah Regency, Aceh.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of Financial Literacy, Financial Management Patterns and Needs on Economic Conditions. The location of the study was conducted in Kwala Sefragile Village, Tanjung Pura District, Langkat Regency. The sample in this study was a community of business actors as many as 70 respondents. The analysis method used is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that Financial Literacy has a partial positive but not significant effect on the State of the Economy. Financial Management has a positive and significant effect on the State of the Economy. Needs have a positive and significant effect on the State of the Economy. While simultaneously Financial Literacy, Financial Management and Needs have a positive and significant effect on the State of the Economy. The contribution of the influence of Financial Literacy, Financial Management and Needs on Economic Conditions is 66.4%

Abstract

This study was conducted to analyze the effect of work discipline and work experience on employee performance moderated by the organization's commitment to PT HKI Pekanbaru-Dumai Rest Area Development Project. The sample in this study was 80 respondents who were contract employees. The analysis method used is moderating regression analysis. This research was conducted by statistical methods processed with the help of SPSS v. 25 Software. The results showed that partially the variables of Work Discipline and work experience had a significant positive effect on Employee Performance. The results of the moderation test explain the commitment of decent work to be a moderation variable and strengthen the relationship of work discipline variables to employee performance. While work commitment is not worthy to be a moderation variable and weakens the relationship of work experience variables to employee performance.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze and test the influence of product quality, service quality, promotions and emotions on customer satisfaction at Mojo Resto Medan. The type of research used is associative quantitative. The population in this study were Mojo Resto Medan customers, and the sample selected was 97 samples using random sampling. Data collection techniques were carried out using questionnaires, observations and interviews. The research results show that product quality has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction with a positive correlation of 0.298 and a significance of 0.001. Service quality has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction with a positive correlation of 2.037, significance of 0.045. Promotion has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction with a positive correlation of 0.340, significance of 0.000. The promotion variable has the strongest influence on customer satisfaction compared to other independent variables. Emotionality has a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction. Product quality, service quality, promotions and emotions simultaneously have a significant positive effect on customer satisfaction at Mojo Resto Medan. Coefficient determination shows a result of 42%, meaning product quality, service quality, promotion, And emotional contribute And give 42% influence on customer satisfaction at Mojo Resto Medan.

Abstract

This research aims to determine and analyze the positive and significant influence of organizational culture, organizational commitment and loyalty on employee performance at PT Millennium Pharmacon both partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods with the data analysis technique used, namely multiple linear regression. The sample in this study was 90 respondents. The results of the research show that: (1) The organizational culture variable has a calculated t value (7.753) > t table (1.66277) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the organizational culture variable (X1) partially has a positive influence and significant impact on employee performance (Y) at PT Millennium Pharmacon. (2) The organizational commitment variable has a calculated t value (3.424) > t table (1.662) and a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05, which means that the organizational commitment variable (X2) partially has a positive and significant influence on performance (Y ) employees at PT Millennium Pharmacon and (3) The loyalty variable has a calculated t value (3.191) > t table (1.662) and a significance value of 0.002 < 0.05 which means that the loyalty variable (X3) partially has a positive influence and significant impact on employee performance (Y) at PT Millennium Pharmacon. (4) The variables organizational culture, organizational commitment and loyalty have a calculated F value (89.301) > F table (2.71) with a sig level of 0.000 < 0.05, which means that the variables organizational culture (X1), organizational commitment (X2) , and loyalty (X3) simultaneously have a positive and significant influence on employee performance (Y) at PT Millenium Pharmacon, (5) while the magnitude of the influence that the independent variable has on the dependent variable is 74.9%. Meanwhile, the remaining 25.1% was influenced by other factors outside this research.
