Jurnal Bisnis dan Kewirausahaan (JBK) merupakan jurnal akademik yang didedikasikan untuk mempublikasikan hasil penelitian dan kajian teoritis di bidang manajemen dan kewirausahaan. Jurnal ini berfokus pada topik-topik yang relevan dengan pengembangan usaha, inovasi bisnis, manajemen strategis, serta kewirausahaan dalam berbagai konteks, baik nasional maupun global. Melalui pendekatan yang multidisiplin, jurnal ini bertujuan untuk menyajikan karya ilmiah yang dapat memberikan kontribusi pada peningkatan pengetahuan serta solusi terhadap permasalahan bisnis di berbagai sektor ekonomi. Jurnal ini mengakomodasi berbagai isu penting dalam manajemen, termasuk pengelolaan sumber daya manusia, pengambilan keputusan, manajemen operasional, serta pengembangan strategi bisnis yang efektif. Di sisi kewirausahaan, jurnal ini menyoroti peran inovasi, risiko, dan peluang dalam menciptakan dan mengembangkan bisnis baru, terutama dalam konteks UKM dan start-up. Selain itu, topik-topik seperti kewirausahaan sosial, e-commerce, dan kewirausahaan digital juga menjadi bagian dari fokus kajian jurnal ini. Dengan menerbitkan artikel-artikel yang berbasis penelitian empiris, studi kasus, maupun kajian literatur yang mendalam, Jurnal Bisnis dan Kewirausahaan berupaya untuk menjadi sumber referensi yang kredibel bagi akademisi, praktisi bisnis, dan pengambil kebijakan. Jurnal ini tidak hanya memberikan wawasan teoretis, tetapi juga menawarkan solusi praktis yang dapat diimplementasikan dalam dunia bisnis untuk meningkatkan kinerja perusahaan dan menciptakan pertumbuhan yang berkelanjutan. Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the influence of online marketing and the role of content creators on increasing income in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Purwakarta. In the increasingly developing digital era, MSMEs are faced with new challenges and opportunities that require effective marketing strategies to survive and thrive. Data were taken from an online questionnaire to respondents, namely MSME actors in Purwakarta Regency. Partial least squares structural equation modeling and mediation analysis used the bootstrap method. This study reveals several important results regarding the influence of online marketing and the role of content creators on increasing income in MSMEs in Purwakarta. First, online marketing has been shown to significantly increase the visibility and sales of MSME products. Social media platforms, websites, and marketplaces are effective tools in reaching wider consumers and diversifying sales channels. Second, content creators play a crucial role in strengthening brand awareness and building closer relationships with consumers. Collaboration with content creators helps MSMEs to create interesting and relevant content, so that it can increase consumer engagement and expand market reach. This study will evaluate the extent to which online marketing can increase the visibility and sales of MSME products and how content creators contribute to expanding market reach and strengthening brand awareness.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) have a strategic role in the national economy, but there is room for improvement with regard to their supply chain management. This study aims to analyze the strategy for optimizing the MSME supply chain through a SWOT approach. The results of the analysis suggest that MSMEs may be able to enhance their operational efficiency and competitiveness by considering various strategies, including the utilization of digital technology, the expansion of human resource capacity, the strengthening of local supplier networks, and the promotion of product innovation and diversification. It is suggested that by implementing these strategies, MSMEs may have the opportunity to reduce operational costs, improve service quality, and expand markets. This research underscores the potential value of collaboration between MSMEs, the government, and the private sector in fostering a more efficient and sustainable supply chain ecosystem.

Abstract

The adoption of digital marketing among potato farmers in Banyumas has significantly influenced their market competitiveness. This study explores how social media and e-commerce platforms enhance market access, customer engagement, and business sustainability. Using Diffusion of Innovation Theory, the research examines factors affecting farmers' adoption of digital marketing, including digital literacy, financial constraints, external support, and customer trust. A qualitative approach was employed, involving in-depth interviews with six selected informants. The findings reveal that farmers who actively utilize digital platforms experience increased visibility and sales. However, challenges such as technical expertise, logistics, and seasonal demand fluctuations hinder optimal implementation. Government and private-sector support play a crucial role in fostering digital adoption through training programs and financial assistance. The study highlights the need for structured interventions to bridge the digital divide among farmers. Additionally, strengthening digital literacy and enhancing collaboration among stakeholders can further accelerate the adoption of digital marketing in agriculture. Future research should explore broader agricultural sectors and examine policy interventions that facilitate digital transformation. This study contributes to the growing body of knowledge on digital marketing in rural economies and provides practical insights for farmers, policymakers, and agricultural organizations.

Abstract

Work discipline is a key factor in increasing employee productivity and efficiency, especially in the context of global competition. This study aims to explore the relationship between the distance from home to the workplace and the level of work discipline of employees in Yogyakarta. The method used is an independent sample t-test to compare the level of discipline between employees who live close and far from the workplace. The results of the study show that employees who live closer have a higher level of discipline, with a significant difference indicated by a p-value < 0.05. The conclusion of this study confirms the importance of considering travel distance in human resource management policies, as well as the need for companies to address the negative impacts of long travel distances on employee discipline. These findings are expected to contribute to better management literature and business practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of workplace incivility on innovative work behavior mediated by job anxiety in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) engaged in creative businesses in Banyumas. The type of research used in this study is quantitative research using a questionnaire as a tool to obtain data. This study used a sample of 40 samples. The sampling technique used in this study was purposive sampling and tested using Statistic Product and Service Solution (SPSS) 23 software. Based on the results of the study and data analysis, it shows that workplace incivility has a significant negative effect on innovative work behavior, job anxiety has no effect on innovative work behavior, workplace incivility does not affect job anxiety, and job anxiety does not mediate the relationship between workplace incivility and innovative work behavior. The results of the study indicate that workplace incivility can be considered a drain on resources that leads to a decrease in innovative work behavior. This study is expected to be a material that is introduced to build and support a positive and safe work environment from negative events in the work environment.

Abstract

This study aims to give a thorough synthesis of the state of the art in the subject by methodically reviewing the literature to identify important leadership philosophies that impact employee creativity. The PRISMA procedure was adopted to carry out a systematic literature review (SLR). In order to find relevant peer-reviewed papers released between 1995 and 2023, the study performed a systematic search of scholarly databases, including Sciencedirect, Emerald, and MDI. Recognition, screening, qualification assessments, and inclusion phases were all part of the selection process. To find recurrent patterns and connections, the data taken from the chosen studies was subjected to theme synthesis and coding analysis. The findings reveal that transformational and participative leadership styles are the most influential in fostering employee IWB. Key factors contributing to this relationship include leader support, motivation, and an organizational culture that encourages risk-taking and knowledge sharing. Additionally, transactional leadership was found to have a mixed impact depending on organizational context and employee autonomy levels. The study reveals that employee IWB is greatly influenced by leadership styles, with transformational leadership having the most beneficial benefits. By providing perspectives into organizational policies and leadership development initiatives targeted at generating innovation, the research advances both theory and practice. The moderating effect of industry-specific factors and organizational culture should be investigated in future studies. By using a methodical and rigorous approach, this study fills gaps in the literature and lays the groundwork for future empirical research by offering a thorough synthesis of leadership styles in relation to IWB into the relationship between innovation and leadership styles.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of employee well-being on employee performance, engagement and job satisfaction, the effect of satisfaction on performance, the effect of work involvement on performance and the effect of job satisfaction and involvement as mediation between well-being and employee performance in food SMEs in Malang Raya. This research uses a quantitative approach. The sample used was 220 employees but only 167 questionnaires were filled in by employees who worked in food SMEs. Data collection techniques through interviews and questionnaires. Data Analysis Method uses Scale Range Analysis and Data Processing Using the Smart PLS Version 4.0 Software Program. The results of this research are that well-being has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, engagement and job satisfaction and the influence of engagement on performance and satisfaction with performance also has positive and significant results.  The questionnaire was not filled in completely by all respondents

Abstract

This study investigates how mobile banking services influence customer loyalty, with a focus on the mediating role of celebrity endorsement and the moderating effect of environmental factors. Drawing on the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELM), the study tests five hypotheses using a structural equation modeling (SEM-PLS) approach. The results show that mobile banking services significantly influence both customer loyalty and perceptions of celebrity endorsements. However, celebrity endorsements do not significantly affect customer loyalty, nor do they mediate the relationship between mobile banking services and loyalty. Additionally, environmental factors were found not to moderate the relationship, indicating that loyalty is shaped more by internal service quality than external conditions. The findings emphasize the dominant role of central cues—such as functionality, reliability, and convenience—in digital service experiences, suggesting that peripheral cues like celebrity endorsements are insufficient to foster loyalty in utilitarian services like banking. Practically, the study recommends that financial institutions invest more in service innovation and customer-centric mobile platforms than in celebrity-based promotions. Theoretically, the research expands the ELM framework by illustrating its limitations in high-involvement digital service contexts. Future studies are encouraged to explore alternative mediators and extend the model across different service industries and cultural settings.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Fintech Adoption and Financial Literacy on the Financial Performance of Islamic banks in Indonesia, with Digital Trust examined as a moderating variable. Utilizing a quantitative approach and Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), data were collected from 150 managerial respondents across 14 Islamic commercial banks. The findings reveal that Fintech Adoption significantly and positively affects Financial Performance (p < 0.05), highlighting the strategic importance of digital transformation in the banking sector. However, Financial Literacy does not demonstrate a significant impact, nor does Digital Trust significantly moderate either the Fintech Adoption–Performance or Financial Literacy–Performance relationships. These results suggest that organizational-level factors and system integration may play a more decisive role than individual competencies or perceived trust in shaping performance outcomes. Theoretically, this research reinforces the Technology-Organization-Environment (TOE) framework while challenging assumptions from Human Capital and Trust-Based Models. The study’s practical implication emphasizes prioritizing digital infrastructure development over isolated staff training in Islamic banking. Limitations include its cross-sectional design and institutional focus, prompting future research to adopt multi-level and longitudinal approaches. This study contributes to the growing discourse on digital finance within faith-based financial institutions.

Abstract

The application of information and communication technology (ICT) in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) continues to increase gradually. However, the implementation of ICT in MSMEs is hampered by constraints, such as limited financial resources and ICT knowledge. This study aims to identify and analyze ICT adoption in MSMEs. Additionally, this study aims to provide recommendations on the most effective methods for optimizing ICT utilization in this context. This review was conducted using a sample of four publications that have been published and are available in nationally accredited Sinta 2 journals in the Binus Business Review. The selection process focused on works published between 2015 and 2024. The PRISMA form was used to explain the selection and acceptance procedures for relevant publications comprehensively. The authors' final argument in this article is that, despite extensive research in the field of ICT, there is a need to adapt strategies and policies that can support MSMEs in Indonesia.
