Abstract

Stroke, also known as cerebrovascular accident (CVA), is a condition where there is a sudden disruption in brain function due to circulation problems, which can result in paralysis or even death of brain cells. There are two main types of stroke: ischemic, caused by blockage of blood vessels, and hemorrhagic, caused by bleeding into the brain. In Indonesia, stroke is the leading cause of death with an increasing incidence rate. Therefore, early prevention and treatment efforts are crucial in managing this condition. Data mining and machine learning have become important tools in predicting the risk of stroke. In this study, ensemble techniques, particularly bagging and adaboost, were applied to decision tree and naive bayes algorithms to improve accuracy in predicting stroke. The results showed that the use of ensemble techniques, especially adaboost, significantly improved the performance of the naive bayes algorithm, with an increase in accuracy of up to 7.42%. The combination of decision tree algorithm with bagging achieved the highest accuracy in predicting stroke, reaching 96.91%, followed by the combination of decision tree with adaboost and naive bayes with adaboost. These results indicate that ensemble techniques can significantly improve the performance of stroke prediction algorithms, with an emphasis on using adaboost for naive bayes algorithm and bagging for decision tree.

Abstract

Information system of academic is a platform designed to manage academic data for educational institutions. The Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School academic information system does not yet have a clear picture of the system satisfaction index. Satisfaction is an important factor in analyzing the system's ability to obtain data correctly and accurately. Given these challenges, a method is needed to assess satisfaction with SIAKAD Pondok Pesantren Miftahul Jannah. The purpose of this study is to assess user satisfaction with the Miftahul Jannah Islamic Boarding School Academic Information System (SIAKAD). The evaluation was conducted using the System Usability Scale (SUS) method In this study, the SUS method was used to measure user satisfaction with SIAKAD by involving the participation of 146 individuals from the boarding school. The results showed that SIAKAD of Miftahul Jannah boarding school received a score of 70.72, which indicates that the system is acceptable to users.

Abstract

BPR Gerbang Serasan Kabupaten Muara Enim is a financial institution whose main activity is collecting funds from the community in the form of savings and deposits and channeling them back to the community in the form of credit. In granting credit, BPR must manage and analyze it as best as possible by paying attention to elements of credit worthiness. However, until now the credit granting process tends to be manual and takes quite a long time to produce supporting documents for the credit committee because it still uses simple methods, namely handwriting and data processing that relies on Microsoft Excel, so this is deemed necessary. lack. effective and efficient because it is prone to errors and data redundancy. Therefore, a responsive web-based application is needed to facilitate the entire credit granting process. The credit scoring model is used to assess potential debtors based on financial and non-financial information. In this research, the application of the credit scoring model in the form of a web application makes it possible to provide accurate credit decisions. In addition, developing a simple system using the waterfall method allows for departmentalization and control, thereby minimizing the possibility of errors. The results of this research are expected to provide a significant contribution to PT. BPR Gerbang Serasan Kabupaten Muara Enim in increasing the efficiency of the credit granting process which is useful in the form of reports and supporting documents for the credit committee.

Abstract

The increasingly rapid development of information and communication technology has changed the way people interact with the world. This also applies to the process of accepting new students (PPDB), which is currently mostly done online. SD IT Mufidatul Ilmi is a private school that has quite a large number of interested people. The current PPDB system still has several shortcomings, such as an unattractive display and navigation that is not user-friendly. This can cause difficulties for prospective students and parents in registering. Therefore, it is necessary to design a PPDB system UI/UX that can overcome these shortcomings. With good UI/UX design, the PPDB system can become more attractive, easier to use, and can provide a positive experience for users. This research uses the design thinking method to design the UI/UX of the website-based PPDB information system at SD IT Mufidatul Ilmi. This method consists of five stages, namely: Empathy, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Testing. The research results show that designing the UI/UX of the website-based PPDB information system at SD IT Mufidatul Ilmi using the design thinking method can produce a system that is more attractive, easy to use, and can provide a positive experience for users.

Abstract

The results of a survey conducted by the Indonesian Career Center Network (ICCN) in 2017 showed that 87% of Indonesia’s students stated that the field of study they chose did not match their interests. Based on the results of this survey, as well as the observations and findings emerging from the research environment, it is a motivation for researchers to develop applications of interest and talent tests. The design thinking method applied consists of five stages, namely, emphasize, define, imagine, prototype, and test, and has produced a minimum viable product (MVP) called Prodi P. The resulting MVP has three main features are interest and talent tests, product information, and consultation. The test results of the MVP are carried out in two ways: alpha testing and beta testing. The results of alpha testing indicated that 100% of the application features met the requirements, while beta testing stated that the application was attractive and provided positive information, and 91.6% of visitors declared that the provided test tools were relevant to the characteristics of the computer science program.In conclusion, the app has been running according to the user's expectations.

Abstract

In the context of Big Data processing, Hadoop MapReduce serves as a framework used to develop software and process large-scale data in parallel. Word Count is a type of task used to count the occurrences of unique words in a text file. Considering processing time is crusial in adhering to standards of Big Data Processing. The conducted research involved the processing of text files using the MapReduce method on the Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS) using a single node, comparing the results of Word Count processing with and without the use of MapReduce. The research findings indicate that the implementation of Word Count without using MapReduce offers better speed in processing Indonesian language text data on a Hadoop single node. Additionally, the comparison of processing time between the Word Count program with Hadoop MapReduce and the Word Count program without MapReduce shows that the latter has faster processing time. A significant reduction in processing time, up to 95% for a 5 MB file size, can be achieved by using the Word Count method without MapReduce. However, the level of reduction decreases with increasing file size.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, the use of the internet and technology has become commonplace. One of them is the banking sector, which has shifted to offering services with a digital touch, such as mobile banking. Rating assessment on Playstore, the BSB Mobile application received a score of 4.0. When using m-banking, customers found complaints such as user accounts being blocked for no reason, transactions failing but balance deductions still occurring, errors or bugs in the application. These complaints will reduce the user's desire to use the application. Researchers applied the UTAUT2 method and added Trust and Perceived Risk variables to analyze what factors influence BSB Mobile user intentions. The results of this analysis found that the variables Social Influence and Hedonic Motivation influence Intentional Behavior, while the variables Performance Expectations, Business Expectations, Facilitating Conditions, Price Value, Habits, Trust, and Perceived Risk do not influence the Intentional Behavior of BSB Mobile banking users.

Abstract

The divine commandments contained in the Muslim holy book, the Qur'an, are not only instructions and guidance, but also contain wisdom and deep meaning for mankind. This study aims to develop the Qur'an Question-Answer (QA) feature in the Flutter-based mobile Qur'an application as an innovative solution to facilitate understanding of the teachings of the Qur'an. By combining the advantages of Flutter technology in the construction of responsive user interfaces, this application is designed to provide natural language questions in understanding the contents of the Qur'an as well as facilitating the dissemination of religious messages in sharing the verses of the Qur'an. Application development uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method, as well as application testing using the Black Box Testing and User Acceptance Test (UAT) methods and the results obtained that the application is feasible to use.

Abstract

Information Technology (IT) is a very important part of a company and is also an investment value for a better company. To support the application of good IT it is necessary to do an analysis and evaluation related to good IT governance to fit the company's strategic plan. Regional General Hospital is a facility in the field of health to handle health problems in the community. According to the regulation of the minister of health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 82 of 2013 that every hospital is required to hold a Hospital Information Management System (SIMRS). In this case Regional Hospital needs to hold SIMRS by implementing good IT to make operations efficient and effective. Therefore it is necessary to do an analysis and evaluation related to good governance so that the application of IT can be on target so that operational activities can be managed properly according to predetermined standards. The right solution for analyzing IT governance is to conduct an audit using the COBIT 5 framework. An audit is carried out in accordance with conditions and strategic plans so that research can be carried out in accordance with a predetermined process domain, namely the DSS domain (Deliver, Service, and Support) on sub -DS01 domain Manage Operations, DSS03 Manage Problems, DSS 04 Manage Continuity. The audit results can conclude the level of maturity related to the selected domain process standard and produce recommendations for IT governance at Regional Hospital

Abstract

Pesticides are crucial compounds that farmers require to manage pests attacking plants. However, if the pesticide dosage is misapplied or does not adhere to recommendations, it can harm plants and the environment. Utilizing variable land area implies that the necessary pesticide dosage varies. A prevalent approach for farmers to estimate the required dosage is by roughly using pesticide bottle caps. Due to approximate measurements, there is potential for excessive or insufficient pesticide doses that do not align with recommended limits. Therefore, a system is needed to control pesticide dosages based on the plant area's requirements. This research establishes a system capable of regulate the necessary pesticide dosage, encompassing the volume of pure pesticide and water. The results of this research show that the level of accuracy of pesticide dosage for the required volume of pure pesticide is 97.82%, provided that the minimum system output is 20 ml and above. Meanwhile, the accuracy of pesticide dosage for water volume requirements reached 98.9%. In addition, the system succeeded in controlling the pesticide dose according to recommendations for spraying mustard greens with an overall control accuracy of 97.47%.
