Abstract

The aim of this study is to find out the contribution of eye and leg coordination, limb muscle power, and abdominal muscle strength to shooting abilities in WTW football player TC Grobogan aged 13-15 years 2024. The data analysis results are presented as follows, (1) known using the Pearson product moment correlation with an eye-foot coordination significance value of 0.013 <0.05 meaning that there is a significant correlation. Eye-legged coordination gives an Effective Contribution of 19.3% to the Shooting ability. (2) The significance of the Node Muscle Power with Shooting capabilities is 0.037 < 0.05, meaning there is an important correlational relationship.

Abstract

This research aims to evaluate the football achievement coaching program case study at Terang Bangsa Academy Semarang using the CIPP (Contexs, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. This research is a qualitative descriptive research. The research location was at Terang Bangsa Academy, with data collection using observation, interview, and documentation methods. This research was conducted from April 24, 2024 to April 27, 2024 at the Terang Bangsa Academy training ground. The main data sources include athletes, coaches, and academy administrators. The data analysis technique used is data triangulation. The results showed that in terms of contexs, the organizational structure is running well. However, in terms of input, there are still shortcomings due to funding issues which are the main obstacle, where the academy depends on the Terang Bangsa foundation and donations from the church. In terms of process, the training program is running well with the implementation of an adapted Dutch football curriculum. Overall, in terms of product, the achievements have been good, as seen from the existing documentation. Suggestions on this research need to look for additional sources of funding apart from church and foundation donations, such as partnering with local governments or companies, to ensure the sustainability and development of the facility.

Abstract

The physical condition of players is crucial for achieving maximum performance. This study aims to analyze the physical condition level of Persis Solo U20 players based on the physical tests that will be conducted. This research is a survey study with a descriptive design. The subjects of this study are all 25 football athletes of Persis Solo U20. The data collection technique uses a survey with a test instrument consisting of six test items: the 20-Meter Sprint Test (Speed), Arrowhead (Agility), Standing Long Jump (Power Strength), Push-Up (Strength), Sit-Up (Strength), and Yo-Yo Intermittent Recovery Level 2 (Endurance). The data analysis technique employs descriptive analysis with percentages based on classification norms, which are then processed into T-scores to determine the physical condition levels of Persis Solo U20 football athletes. The results of the descriptive statistical test show that. The speed component (Speed) has an average of 2.92, with most athletes (13 athletes or 52%) falling into the "excellent" category. The agility component (Agility) has an average of 16.98, with most athletes (13 athletes or 52%) in the "moderate" category. The explosive power component (Power Strength) has an average of 2.34, with most athletes (13 athletes or 52%) in the "poor" category. The abdominal muscle strength component (Strength) has an average of 57.4, with most athletes (21 athletes or 84%) in the "very poor" category.  The arm muscle strength component (Strength) has an average of 33.56, with most athletes (9 athletes or 36%) in the "very good" category. The endurance component (Endurance) has an average scale score of 20.26, with most athletes (9 athletes or 36%) in the "moderate" category. Overall, the physical condition has an average score of 301.772. Based on the classification norms, the physical condition falls into the "moderate" category, with most athletes (10 athletes or 40%) in this category.

Abstract

This study aims to examine how leg muscle strength and passing ability in futsal correlate with each other. The study sample consisted of 20 physical education students who actively participated in futsal. Passing ability and leg muscle strength tests were used to collect data. The results were tested for normality, linearity, and Pearson correlation. The results showed a significant relationship (p < 0.05) between lower limb muscle strength and passing ability; a correlation coefficient of 0.611 indicates a strong correlation. This suggests that good lower limb muscle strength, such as strength, balance, and coordination, significantly influences the ability to master passing techniques.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of yellow cards on the performance of football teams in Liga 1 BRI Indonesia season 2023-2024. The core issue raised is how yellow cards affect ball possession, goal scoring, and overall match results. The method used was a quantitative correlative research design, with data collected from 18 teams (9 provinces) over a full season (11 months). Analyses were conducted using Pearson correlation test, linear regression, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) to evaluate the impact of yellow cards in various match conditions. The results showed that yellow cards had a significant negative impact on possession (coefficient: -0.341, p<0.001) and goal scoring (coefficient: -0.017, p=0.003), especially in away matches and against stronger opponents, as well as when received by key players such as central midfielders or defenders. The conclusions of this study highlight the importance of yellow card risk management strategies and psychological resilience training for players, as well as the relevance of these findings in developing team competitive strategies. This research provides a new contribution to the literature on discipline in football and practical implications for football team management.
