Abstract

Job Description Eid al-Adha Committee 1441 H Jogokariyan Mosque Abstrac: This research focuses on job descriptions in the Eid al-Adha 1441 H Jogokariyan Mosque committee. The aim of this research is to describe the authority and responsibility, conditions, standards and machines used in each job to make the implementation of the 1441 H Jogokariyan Mosque sacrifice a success. The method used in this research is library or literature study by collecting credible documents and references, then the analysis was carried out using Garry Dessler’s Job description theory approach. The results of the research show that the Eid al-Adha 1441H committee has 16 types of work including: Cow hunting team, animal slaughtering team, consumption team, first aid team, personnel & K3 team, media team, progress report & documentation, offal processing team, shohibul wrapping team, Bone cutting team, Meat weighing & cutting team, Cow & goat straddling team, Cow lifting team, Live cattle weighing team, Cow herding team, Cow & goat drumming team. Each team that is formed has a specific explanation of authority and responsibility according to the needs and conditions of the objective of completing the slaughter of 44 cows and 39 goats, effective and efficient work standards with the use of sophisticated machines so that all the meat is ready to be distributed at 12:10 from 08:00 :00, and the distribution process of 4,750 packs was completed before sunset on the same day. Abstract

Considering that the role of organizational commitment is very important for da'wah organizations to develop and be sustainable, efforts are needed to build commitment in the human resources of da'wah organizations. However, so far academic studies on the aspect of building organizational commitment in missionary organizations are still very limited. Previous literature has investigated factors in building organizational commitment to industry. The aim of this study is to explore the strategies of missionary organizations in building member commitment, through a literature review of the strategies used by the prophet Muhammad in building organizational commitment to human resources, especially during the prophet's preaching in Mecca. The method used is a qualitative library study. The results of the study concluded that the Prophet Muhammad's efforts to build the commitment of member organizations in Mecca were in several ways, namely: internalizing the vision of monotheism, consistent and sustainable awareness-based development, creating a positive climate based on human values, and leading by example. The Prophet Muhammad's strategy in building organizational commitment in Mecca can be an inspiration for da'wah organizations in the pioneering phase.

Abstract

Abstract: IMPLEMENTATION OF ISLAMIC DAYCARE STRATEGY FORMULATION: A CASE STUDY OF ALARIC DAYCARE SURABAYA 2023. There have not been many studies regarding strategy formulation in da’wa organizations, this is because of the history of its emergence originating from the military and then being adopted by business companies. Therefore, it is important to develop ideas about implementing strategy formulation in da’wa organizations to produce genuine and compatible concepts. Alaric Daycare Surabaya is an Islamic daycare that is currently formulating a strategy to achieve targets in 2023. This prompted this research to carry out experimentation in implementing strategy formulation based on strategic management disciplines in a child care institution (daycare) based on Islamic values. This research aims to apply the strategy formulation framework as a tool for formulating strategies at Alaric Daycare. The approach is field research with rationalistic qualitative methods. Applied analysis involves inductively combining factors revealed in environmental descriptive data, with emphasis on the logical relationships between them, with the aim of developing strategic solutions. The resulting strategy is optimizing daycare care and education products, improving the quality of caregiver human resources and effective leadership delegation, enforcing caregiving SOPs, and increasing HR compensation to reduce high turnover rates. Abstract

The Balanced Scorecard (BSC) is a contemporary management system widely utilized by both profit and nonprofit organizations to help manage them comprehensively and coherently. Islamic kindergarten institutions are no exception, as they require the BSC tool to be managed more professionally using various relevant perspectives. This study aims to propose an architecture or model of BSC perspectives relevant to the context of Islamic kindergarten institutions, considering that the original BSC perspective architecture is only relevant to business organizational contexts. The research method employed is a qualitative approach using a conceptual paper model. This study finds that for the context of Islamic kindergarten institutions, the relevant BSC perspective model consists of seven perspectives, including financial perspective, customer perspective, curriculum perspective, learning and assessment perspective, administrative perspective, resource perspective, and organizational perspective. The financial perspective is positioned at the top hierarchy, supported by the customer perspective as the financial source. The customer perspective needs to be supported by three perspectives still within the category of goal achievement pathways, namely the curriculum perspective, learning and assessment perspective, and administrative perspective. All perspectives representing goal achievement pathways need to be supported by perspectives reflecting organizational capabilities, namely resource perspective and organizational perspective.

Abstract

Manajer dakwah dituntut memiliki kemampuan merumuskan strategi agar dapat menjaga eksistensi dan menjamin keberhasilan organisasi dakwah. Analisis SWOT menawarkan kerangka formulasi strategi secara kuantitatif melalui prosedur kerja baku dan matematis. Pendekatan kuantitatif ternyata menambah beban kerja analisis sehingga prosesnya jadi lebih panjang & rumit, berpotensi memunculkan kesalahan melalui berbagai penyederhaan informasi, mereduksi dialektika konstruktif dan membatasi kreasi strategi. Di sisi lain kegiatan dakwah pada organisasi skala kecil dengan koteks tujuan jangka pendek senantiasa menghadapi situasi aktual yang dinamis dan memaksa manajer dakwah untuk merumuskan strategi yang kontekstual secara cepat dan tepat. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan kerangka teoritis formulasi strategi secara kualitatif yang adaptif, tepat porsi dan lebih mudah dijalankan oleh manajer dakwah. Artikel ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif teoritik berparadigma basic research melalui elaborasi karakteristik esensial formulasi strategi, telaah kritis metode analisis SWOT dan karakteristik pengelolaan organisasi dakwah. Hasil yang didapatkan antara lain: pentingnya memahami tujuan sebagai pedoman awal strategi; pemetaan kondisi secara utuh dan apa adanya; analisis kondisi dilakukan secara bifaktor (faktor pendukung & faktor penghambat); formulasi strategi dikembangkan berdasar prinsip konstruktif-kreatif; seleksi strategi didasarkan pada analisis kualitatif-argumentatif mencakup pertimbangan efektifitas, kerealistisan dan efisiensi.

Abstract

THE DECISION MAKING OF UMAR BIN KHATTAB CALIPH IN PROVIDING MANDATORY GRANTS. This study examines Caliph Umar bin Khattab's decision making in providing mandatory grants and establishing diwan institutions. During Umar's caliphate, he faced many new situations as a result of the expansion of Islamic territory, which gave rise to problems and required the caliph to make decisions. One of them is related to the amount of wealth that goes to the Caliphate. The focus of this study's problem is how Caliph Umar's decision-making process in this case was approached within the framework of a decision-making system. Decision making systems refer to input, process, and output. This study used qualitative methodology with related historical literature data sources. The results of the study showed that in making decisions, Umar based the problem input data and the context of the war situation. Decision making process starts from problem diagnosis, determining criteria and targets as a basis, developing alternatives, selecting, evaluating and determining the best alternative. In the process, Umar involved other members of the organization for deliberation and proposed solutions. As an output, Umar established wealth management in a new way, namely in the form of mandatory grants for Islamic troops and their families, as well as those who had fought previously. The list of recipients of grants with different amounts is based on their contribution and relationship with the Prophet. The list is managed in an institution called diwan.

Abstract

Every organization is required to create strategies in various forms to respond to changes in internal and external situations and conditions so that organizational goals are achieved. SWOT analysis is a method often used by organizations to understand conditions and formulate strategies. SWOT analysis was born and developed to formulate macro and long-term oriented strategies. Meanwhile, da’wah organizations in carrying out their da’wah activities are often faced with specific, tactical and short-term problems among the people. This article aims to describe the process of applying SWOT analysis in formulating a short-term da'wah strategy based on the guardian pilgrimage activities by Pesantren Udara 14.2690 MHz. This research approach is descriptive qualitative. Data comes from interviews, observations and literature. The analysis process uses strategy formulation theory, especially SWOT analysis. Research results: First, in carrying out internal and external mapping, strategic factors are limited by the scope of strategic objectives and issues. Second, the SWOT identification process is carried out by evaluating conditions and testing each strategic factor by integrating the strategic factors. Third, in the matching process you don't really have to have straight pairs of internal and external pairs. Alternative strategies can emerge from several internal and external strategic factors. Fourth, strategy formulation in the form of specific technical solutions that are integrated between short-term strategies in the guardian pilgrimage activities of the Pesantren Udara 14.2690.
