Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. The articles published in the Welfare Journal include the results of original dedication. All publications in the journal Welfare are open access which allows articles to be freely available online without any subscription. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. The scope is Society Development and Engagement focus on Social, Human Resource Development, Management, Business Management, Islamic Economics, Zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, bank and non-bank financial institutions, and MSMEs.. Abstract

Mosques, as non-profit organizations, receive donations from the community. Takmir, as administrators and managers of mosque funds, must be accountable for the use of these funds in a transparent manner. This service partner is the Jamiatul Huda Ketaping Mosque, Padang City. So far, the mosque has carried out bookkeeping, but still in a simple way, and has not prepared financial reports according to ISAK 35 for Non-Profit Entities in accordance with currently applicable financial accounting standards. This community service aims to aid in the form of guidance and training in preparing mosque financial reports according to ISAK 35 using Microsoft Access. As a result, mosque administrators (Takmir and Treasurer) can prepare their financial reports according to the standards of ISAK 35, so that financial reports are more reliable, transparent, and accountable, as well as timely and easier after using Microsoft Access.

Abstract

The amount of crops circulating in this area has not been able to be utilized properly due to the lack of ideas in the community. Mayarakat wants to prosper their families through trade, but when they want to start, they are still reluctant and confused about what business to run because the trade circulation between sellers and buyers is only in that area. Utilizing crops in the form of bananas that will be processed to be more innovative fosters community enthusiasm for starting a business. This service is intended to form new MSMEs, increase community income, and introduce the community to digital marketing. As a result, the community understands better how to run a business in terms of processing income as capital that will be rotated back, the digital sales process, and good product packaging.

Abstract

This service highlights the urgency of financial literacy among children in Denasri Wetan Village, facing the era of globalization. Financial literacy education is introduced early to equip children to manage finances effectively in the future. The object of service is elementary school children, especially those who attend Bimbel at Bimbel Asih in Denasri Wetan Village. The "Ayo Menabung" movement is promoted as an innovative solution to improve financial understanding and instill the value of saving. The service method involved counseling and introducing the concept of the "Let's Save" movement through lectures and games. The results of the activity showed a positive impact on children's understanding, with the question and answer session reflecting interest and better understanding. Despite obstacles such as the inattention of some participants, success was measured by positive responses, improved understanding, and active participation. For future activities, it is worth considering improvements such as more appropriate timing and adjustments to delivery methods to increase interactivity. Overall, this service successfully provided financial education to elementary school children, contributing to improving financial literacy in Denasri Wetan Village.

Abstract

Industrialization today does not only occur in big cities but also in small cities such as Jember Regency. Present in this city is PT. Gading Mas Indonesia Teguh (GMIT), which concentrates on cultivating edamame and carrying out international buying and selling. Based on the experience carried out, the aim of this service is to: first, collaborate in creating an environmentally friendly company; second, carry out a process of strengthening the importance of halal certification for international companies; and third, provide assistance in the Global Good Agriculture Practice (GAP) process for international companies. The method used is the method of direct participation with company employees. Apart from that, it also strengthens halal certification to support the successful fulfillment of GAP for PT. GMIT Jember. Based on the results of this service, PT. GMIT Jember improves product quality by implementing GAP and processing halal certification. Because, based on this assistance, the existence of GAP through halal certification means that PT. GMIT Jember can penetrate the market, following PT. Mitratani Dua Tujuh Jember, both of which are international companies in edamame products.

Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology has also influenced the field of accounting, including the application of sharia accounting in non-profit entities such as Islamic boarding schools. Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia continue to grow every year, but many do not understand the concept of Islamic economics and sharia accounting in depth. This activity aims to provide education to the management of the Al Jawi Islamic Boarding School in Surabaya regarding Islamic economics, the benefits of financial reports, and the application of sharia contracts in accounting. The implementation method includes education through training and interactive discussions as well as in-depth interviews with the boarding school management. The results of the activity showed an increase in the understanding of the boarding school management regarding the principles of Islamic economics and sharia accounting. Positive responses were seen from the enthusiasm of the participants in discussing and asking questions. The evaluation of the activity revealed that the boarding school management had begun to carry out simple financial records, although the application of more complex accounting according to PSAK Syariah still requires further assistance.

Abstract

The community service entitled "Socialization of Premature Marriage Prevention through Financial Planning among Students" aims to increase students' financial literacy as an effort to prevent early marriage. Mentoring methods involve workshops, training and financial literacy campaigns, with active involvement of students and collaboration with students. Results include increased financial literacy, active student participation in prevention activities, the emergence of new institutions in school policy, and positive changes in attitudes and behavior among students. The conclusion confirms that the financial literacy approach is effective in preventing early marriage, strengthening the role of students as agents of change, and supporting positive social change in the school environment.

Abstract

The journal describes a financial management service offered to students at Pondok Pesantren Al Utsmani. The service is conducted using the 50/30/20 method and aims to increase students' awareness and ability in financial management, avoid the culture of israf, improve financial literacy, and provide a better understanding of financial management. The santri are introduced to the concept of financial management, its functions, and the application of the 50/30/20 method through a series of activities that include exposure, discussion, and material delivery. The aim is to enable the students to manage their finances wisely by allocating their income for primary needs, wants, and savings. This activity offers practical insights for students to effectively manage their finances during their education at the boarding school.

Abstract

This service activity program aims to assist Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) actors in Murtajih Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency through the Free Halal Certification Program (SEHATI). The methods used in this mentoring activity are preparation, surveys, mentoring through education, and direction. This assistance is carried out to be able to train and accompany business actors so that they can fill out the Si Halal application and input production data into the Si Halal application, as well as carry out verification and validation on products registered in the SEHATI program. The result of this service activity is the existence of halal-certified products for micro- and small-business actors in Murtajih Village through SEHATI submissions in the halal account so that the government program regarding mandatory halal certification regulations can be realized.

Abstract

Thesis Writing Training for Semester 6 Students of the IAIN Kediri Sharia Accounting Study Program aim to increase students' competency and confidence in writing theses. This activity uses the service learning method with a lecture approach, which is effective in conveying information and allows direct interaction between the presenter and participants. The training was held for two days, including an explanation of thesis structure, research methodology, and the application of sharia principles in accounting research. The evaluation of the activities showed that the majority of students felt helped and more confident in facing the thesis writing process. Active interaction during lecture sessions and group discussions provides practical solutions to problems faced by students and increases their motivation. Thus, this training was successful in supporting students in achieving optimal academic achievement in accordance with applicable academic standards.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide an in-depth understanding of sanitation to DD Orchid Nursery partner farmers in Batu Malang City. The method used is a partnership-collaboration approach with two stages: preparation of outreach and implementation of activities. The results of the implementation of the activity showed a positive impact in the form of increasing farmers' awareness of the importance of environmental cleanliness around their orchid gardens. This has a positive impact on the health of the orchids and the workers. With this approach, partner farmers have succeeded in understanding how important it is to maintain a clean environment to support healthy orchid growth. It is hoped that this awareness will bring positive changes in their agricultural practices and increase orchid yields. Through this collaborative partnership, efforts to improve sanitation in the orchid cultivation sector will become more focused and targeted, strengthening the company's contribution to supporting sustainable agricultural practices.
