Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. The articles published in the Welfare Journal include the results of original dedication. All publications in the journal Welfare are open access which allows articles to be freely available online without any subscription. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. The scope is Society Development and Engagement focus on Social, Human Resource Development, Management, Business Management, Islamic Economics, Zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, bank and non-bank financial institutions, and MSMEs.. Abstract

Community service between IAIN Kediri and UNISSA Brunei Darussalam through online activities via Zoom aims to promote community economic empowerment through sharia economic principles. The service method involves students identifying community needs, planning joint projects, and implementing online service activities. Through sharia economic projects, including skills training and sharia financial counseling, the aim of this service is to increase the welfare and income of local communities. The results of the service include community economic empowerment, changes in the economic paradigm, and intensive knowledge exchange between students and academics. This collaboration produced a real positive impact, enriching global understanding of sharia economics and making a significant contribution to sustainable development and community empowerment in both countries.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase understanding of the role of the Sharia Supervisory Board (DPS) in facing the digitalization revolution of sharia financial products. The method used is service learning, where active interaction between students and the community is involved in understanding the DPS concept. Through needs mapping, program planning, and implementation involving competent resources, this activity integrates learning and service to achieve these goals. The evaluation results show an increase in participants' understanding, both regarding DPS concepts and digital literacy, as a positive impact of this activity. Therefore, this service makes a positive contribution to sharia financial literacy in the digital era and empowers the community to face changes in the sharia financial industry.

Abstract

Efforts to strengthen collaboration between financial institutions and universities are a key step in empowering a sustainable economy. This service activity aims to increase cooperation between financial institutions and universities, with a focus on sustainable economic empowerment. The service method is carried out through holding international seminars in a hybrid manner, both face-to-face at the Library Building on the 4th floor of IAIN Kediri and via the Zoom platform. The results of this service include strengthening cooperation between the two entities, broadening students' insight into sustainable financial practices, and contributing to sustainable economic development on campus and in the surrounding community.

Abstract

Community empowerment programs should be implemented to raise awareness among local communities about the potential that exists in the area. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of educational programs for elementary school students by immersing them in three educational institutions in Durjo Karangpring village, as well as an overview of service programs by educating coffee youth on how to increase sales of products that are already available in the area. This study employs the ABCD (asset-based community development) method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. These findings demonstrate an increase in education through both formal and informal learning activities. This activity can be implemented on a continuous basis by the surrounding community, allowing students to learn informally as well as formally at school. The socialization program for coffee product marketing strategies is extremely beneficial for young people since it helps them understand how to improve coffee product marketing and compete with other coffee products.

Abstract

The development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) has an important role in the village economy. One of the main factors in the development of MSMEs is access to adequate financing. Sharia Financial Institutions (LKS) have unique characteristics that can support the development of MSMEs with Islamic economic principles. This community service activity was carried out in Ngaran Polanharjo Village, Klaten, with the topic "Counseling on the Role of Sharia Financial Institutions in MSME Development". The implementation method used is counseling through presentations to the target audience about the role of LKS in facilitating MSME financing and discussions related to the realization of financial institutions around the community. The results of counseling show that LKS plays an important role in providing sharia financing to MSMEs in the village, with various financing products that are in accordance with sharia principles. In addition, LKS also provides guidance and assistance to MSME actors to improve the quality of their business. Thus, the role of LKS in the development of MSMEs in Ngaran, Polanharjo Village has a positive impact in improving the economic welfare of rural communities.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase entrepreneurial capacity in Glondonggede Village, Tambakboyo, by providing Digital Marketing training on August 25 2023. This village has great potential in the small business sector, but many entrepreneurs have not utilized digital marketing to its full potential. Therefore, this training was held to provide the skills and knowledge needed so that entrepreneurs can develop their businesses in the digital era. The implementation method used is a participatory and integrated approach, starting with an initial survey to determine participants' needs, followed by intensive training and discussion sessions to ensure in-depth understanding. The results of this activity show that participants succeeded in improving their skills in using digital platforms for marketing, which is expected to accelerate the growth of their businesses.

Abstract

Nagasari Village, Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency, has many MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises) that are growing and developing, but most of them have not utilized technology optimally. One of the main challenges is the lack of a clear business identity, such as a Business Identification Number (NIB), which limits local market access and development opportunities. This community service program aims to improve the understanding and ability of MSME actors in registering NIB digitally, so that they can strengthen their business identity. The method used is direct training through socialization sessions, interactive discussions, and technical assistance to MSME actors. The results of the community service show that MSME actors in Nagasari Village are able to understand the importance of NIB and have successfully implemented the online registration process. This program provides real benefits in the form of wider access to business legality, increased competitiveness, and MSME readiness to face technology-based markets.

Abstract

Information literacy has an important role in developing digital zakat payments, especially through the KitaBisa application. This service research was conducted in Payakabung Village, North Indralaya, Ogan Ilir, with the main aim of increasing information literacy related to digital zakat payments among the community. The service method used includes direct counseling to the Payakabung Village community in using the KitaBisa application to pay zakat. The results of the service show a significant increase in the community's understanding and skills regarding digital zakat payments through the KitaBisa application. Apart from that, community participation in paying zakat via digital methods has also increased, reflecting the success of this service activity in increasing information literacy and the use of technology in religious practices. Thus, this service activity succeeded in making a positive contribution by expanding access and speeding up the zakat payment process, as well as increasing efficiency in managing zakat funds in Payakabung Village, North Indralaya, Ogan Ilir.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase awareness and understanding of the people of Jayamulya Village, Serang Baru District, Bekasi Regency, regarding the use of renewable energy through the installation of solar energy-based public street lighting (PJU). This village faces the problem of minimal street lighting, which has the potential to increase the risk of crime at night. This program aims to provide a sustainable solution by introducing modern technology solar lamps, which are equipped with 300 watt LED lights, 6V/13 watt polycrystalline solar panels, 15000 mAh lithium batteries, radar sensors and LDR sensors for energy efficiency. Implementation methods include outreach, installation training and technical assistance to the community. The results of the activity show that the community is able to understand and install solar-powered lights independently. The application of this technology provides benefits in the form of increased road safety, energy savings and reduced maintenance costs. This activity proves the effectiveness of introducing environmentally friendly technology in supporting sustainable village development.

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to increase the efficiency of sales administration at CV. Indonesian Survey Ambassador by implementing standard operating procedures (SOP) and accurate programs. The method used in this service is direct assistance to company employees in implementing SOPs and using the Accurate Program to record sales. Data analysis shows that many companies, including CV. Duta Survey Indonesia, experienced difficulties in managing sales administration due to a lack of clear SOPs and the use of an inefficient recording system. With the assistance provided, company employees are able to understand and implement SOPs well and utilize the Accurate Program to record sales effectively. In conclusion, this service activity succeeded in providing useful guidance for similar companies in considering the implementation of SOPs and similar sales management programs to improve operational efficiency and overall sales performance.
