Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. The articles published in the Welfare Journal include the results of original dedication. All publications in the journal Welfare are open access which allows articles to be freely available online without any subscription. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. The scope is Society Development and Engagement focus on Social, Human Resource Development, Management, Business Management, Islamic Economics, Zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, bank and non-bank financial institutions, and MSMEs.. Abstract

In the current digital era, there are still many MSMEs who have difficulty marketing their products effectively in online shops. This training program aims to help increase sales of MSME products in the community of creative mothers in Wonotunggal District. The implementation method used is mentoring, consisting of workshops, training materials, online discussions, marketing competitions, and direct practice. The result of implementing this activity is that mentoring has had an impact on the community of creative mothers in Wonotunggal District in the form of increasing sales, increasing brand awareness, strengthening skills, improving product quality, and strengthening relationships in the community. This. In this training, the role of companions is very important in providing support, guidance, and motivation for community members.

Abstract

The general aim of this service activity is to increase students' insight and understanding regarding the process of submitting and preparing subsidized fertilizer requirements through E-RDKK and train apprentices to get used to solving problems using the knowledge gained on campus. The implementation of PPPM socializes the usefulness and benefits of preparing the E-RDKK for farmers, Poktan administrators, and farming business planners. Socialization and training regarding the flow and procedures for preparing the E-RDKK received a positive response. With this training, farmers understand the flow of preparing the E-RDKK. Gapoktan Rejo Mulyo's response to internship activities in providing socialization and training in preparing the E-RDKK in accordance with the SOP has had a positive impact. Before carrying out PPPM activities, Gapoktan members assumed that preparing the E-RDKK was the responsibility of agricultural instructors. This is because while they were Gapoktan administrators, Poktan was not fully involved and did not know the flow of preparing the E-RDKK. With this activity, there was socialization and training on the preparation of the E-RDKK, and Gapoktan and Poktan administrators became aware of their responsibilities as Gapoktan and Poktan administrators. Based on interviews with Gapoktan and Poktan administrators, it is hoped that socialization, training, and mentoring activities will be more intensive.

Abstract

This study discusses the implementation of community service activities for young people at St. Petrus Palembang by using ChatGPT technology as a tool to introduce and train its use. This training aims to understand the concept of ChatGPT and improve skills in using this technology effectively and efficiently. The method used in this activity is presentation and hands-on practice. The results of this training show that the use of ChatGPT can improve the quality of learning for participants through interesting and interactive interactions. Participants can easily understand technology concepts through interaction with ChatGPT, which provides fast and accurate responses and explanations. The advice given is to carry out routine training programs in Sunday Schools to strengthen the use of technology in learning and to develop various types of content that can be accessed through ChatGPT to provide a deeper understanding of technology through interaction with digital technology.

Abstract

This service program aims to empower micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kraton Village by introducing and implementing payment methods using QR codes. This method is considered effective for modernizing payment systems and increasing transaction efficiency in MSME businesses. In its implementation, this program adopts an interactive training method that directly involves MSME owners. They are given an in-depth understanding of the use of QR code technology in their daily transactions. The results of this implementation show significant improvements in transaction efficiency, with reduced payment processing times and a reduced risk of administrative errors. This service program has succeeded in empowering MSMEs in Kraton Village by giving them access to modern payment technology. By adopting QR codes, MSMEs can expand their market reach and increase their competitiveness in the digital economy era. The success of this program is proof that empowerment through QR Code payment technology is a positive step in advancing MSMEs in the local area.

Abstract

The problem that exists in Asman Jahe MSMEs is that the marketing strategy for banana debog chips products still uses traditional and simple methods because business owners do not understand online marketing and the product packaging process is less attractive. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide training related to product packaging management and e-commerce-based marketing that is good and attractive. Activities are carried out using direct observation and interview methods. The results of this community service activity provide solutions to MSMEs in the form of increased understanding and skills in promotional activities, the availability of hygienic, economical, clean and neat packaging, the availability of brands on packaging with attractive designs and complete information and the availability of social media as media for partners in carrying out promotional activities.

Abstract

This training activity on the use of social media for make-up artist businesses at IPEMI PC Kuranji is a form of community service. IPEMI PC Kuranji is a women's entrepreneur organization that makes it easier for its members to be creative and innovative in entrepreneurship. One of them is fighting for make-up artists at IPEMI PC Kuranji. There is so much competition everywhere that MUAs have to be smart in racking their brains so that their makeup service business can run smoothly. However, this increasingly fierce competition has made many novice MUAs confused about how to do it. One way to revive the MUA business is by managing and utilizing social media for their business.

Abstract

The purpose of this outreach program is to provide insight and knowledge in English to students. The socialization activity, which was attended by 32 students, took place at SMP Negeri 3 Jalan Lagu Boti Ujung Pematangsiantar on May 17, 2023. This socialization was carried out using the game-based learning method and also discussed various problems in learning English that are often faced by students. The result of the implementation of this activity is that students become motivated to learn English through discussion after the presentation of the material is finished. From these socialization activities, the researcher concluded that students were able to learn English in a fun way according to the topics that had been presented.

Abstract

The learning activities that occur tend to be dominated by student activities such as paying attention, looking at the teacher's explanation of the material and examples, and discussing practice questions according to the examples. This makes learning creativity less fun. Learning that is carried out should involve students being active both in finding concepts and learning materials, solving problems, and comparing and discussing concepts/ and aterials and the results of problem solving.hus, it is necessary to apply learning that pays attention to the development of learning creativity, one of which is the contextual learning approach. The purpose of this activity is to increase student creativity through a contextual learning approach. Community service activities are carried out using the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, which involves socialization, implementation and monitoring, and program evaluation activities. Data collected from questionnaires and interviews. The community service activities carried out show the conclusion that student creativity increases through contextual learning and is an effective criteria. Furthermore, each indicator of learning creativity increases based on the application of contextual learning components; namely, components in contextual learning have a dominant influence on learning creativity indicators.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to socialize the device strategy for implementing ZIS fundraising at BAZNAS, Sleman district, which has experienced an increase. Service activities are carried out using the method of socializing the zakat awareness movement directly to the community, opening consulting services online and offline, as well as conducting zakat role models, which are expected to make people understand or be aware of the obligation to pay zakat. The results of community service activities include several strategies carried out by BAZNAS of Sleman Regency to raise ZIS funds, namely: 1) The strategy of awareness socialization of the zakat movement and related provisions can influence the muzaki's decision to pay zakat. 2) Opening an online zakat consulting service via WhatsApp and in-person consultation at the Sleman district BAZNAS office also has a significant impact on Muzaki. 3) Carry out the role model zakat movement every month, which also influences the muzaki's decision to pay zakat. It was concluded that the socialization of the Zakat awareness movement, consulting services related to Zakat, and the role model Zakat movement had a positive impact and succeeded in strengthening the ZIS fundraising process.

Abstract

The rice field farming system in the village is considered advanced, so there are almost no obstacles to its operation. Therefore, we took the object of cassava, which is a food ingredient that can be processed into snacks that can increase the income of the Jonggrang village community. Our service uses the PAR method. Based on the results of the service carried out with farmer groups and cassava farmers, economic value was added to the cassava harvest into a new product in Jonggrang village, namely changing cassava into a snack packaged into crispy gethuk. With this training program, we hope to help maximize the potential of cassava, which was initially only sold raw, and after carrying out the training program, the community can produce new processed products. Apart from providing innovation in cassava processing, we also show how to market through social media and marketplaces based on Islamic law.
