This article discusses the Interpersonal Metafunction contained in the lyrics of the song Lee Anthony Marvers’ “There She Goes”. And the purpose of this article is to explain the structure of the lyrics of the song "There she goes" using the interpersonal Metafunction structure method. This type of article applies a qualitative method, namely analyzing the contents of the song lyrics. The steps in analyzing the lyrics of the song "there she goes" are as first the researcher understands the meaning of the lyrics of the song, the second researcher divides the song lyrics into several clauses, the third the researcher classifies each of these clauses according to the structure of the interpersonal metafunction such as (Subject, Finite, Predicator, Adjunct, Compliment), and finally the researcher analyzes the mood and residue. The lyrics of the song "There She Goes" provide an information function or meaning to the readers and listeners of the song. Based on the results of the study, the researchers concluded that the interpersonal function is useful in the implementation of interpersonal communication and provides a complete understanding of the use of mood and residue. Tujuan dari program sosialisasi ini adalah untuk menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan dalam berbahasa Inggris yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Kegiatan sosialisasi yang dihadiri oleh 32 siswa ini bertempat di SMP NEGERI 3 Jalan Lagu boti ujung Pematangsiantar pada tanggal 17 Mei 2023. Sosialisasi ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Game Based Learning dan juga diskusi tentang berbagai permasalahan dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris yang sering dihadapi oleh perserta didik. Hasil dari pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah siswa menjadi termotivasi dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Inggris melalui diskusi setelah pemaparan materi selesai. Dari kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa peserta didik mampu belajar Bahasa Inggris dengan menyenangkan sesuai dengan topik yang telah dibawakan.

This paper explores a school implemented twelve-week full-time internship subject designed to enhance preservice primary teachers first experiential placement at school. This subject is specifically focused on preparing preservice teachers through orientating them in key facets of a school, thereafter contextualizing the theory studied at University within classroom practice, and ultimately developing further competencies in their teaching and learning methodology. Three stages of activities were implemented by the authors to compile the activity report which includes the Preparation phase, Implementation and Evaluation phase. The program was designed to be cumulative in nature, building on the learning, practice and reflection developed in the previous week and learning activities will be scaffolded to incorporate both independent and collaborative and peer learning. The results showed that an implementation of an internship experience improved a sense of readiness of intern teachers, confidence in classroom management, and general teaching ability. Although well-supported as a critical experience, internships take considerable time and effort to organize and execute. Measures of quality support the need for an intense focus during the internship.

The use of learning media is one of the important things in the era of increasingly rapid technological development. It makes learning interesting and effective. An effective English language and teaching media in this new era is Duolingo. It provides methods of learning while playing games, which certainly attracts the attention of language learners. The effective use of Duolingo application is described based on the result of pretest and posttest comparison. The research method is quantitative based on the participants’ scores. The test is vocabulary test which addressed into the students of class XII SMA N 1 PERUMNAS BATU 6 as the participants. Data analysis indicate that Duolingo application is an effective English language and teaching media. The average score in pretes is 64. 53 and it becomes 91.13. This research concluded that Dulingo help the participants to improve English vocabulary knowledge.

The purpose of this outreach program is to provide insight and knowledge in English to students. The socialization activity, which was attended by 32 students, took place at SMP Negeri 3 Jalan Lagu Boti Ujung Pematangsiantar on May 17, 2023. This socialization was carried out using the game-based learning method and also discussed various problems in learning English that are often faced by students. The result of the implementation of this activity is that students become motivated to learn English through discussion after the presentation of the material is finished. From these socialization activities, the researcher concluded that students were able to learn English in a fun way according to the topics that had been presented.
