Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. The articles published in the Welfare Journal include the results of original dedication. All publications in the journal Welfare are open access which allows articles to be freely available online without any subscription. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. The scope is Society Development and Engagement focus on Social, Human Resource Development, Management, Business Management, Islamic Economics, Zakat, infaq, alms, waqf, bank and non-bank financial institutions, and MSMEs.. This journal contains research-based community service results such as PAR (Participatory Action Research), ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development), CBR (Community-Based Research), Service Learning, Community Development, and other methodologies.

Abstract

The service took the form of socialization and counseling activities about "Bank BPD Bali Goes To School" for Klungkung PGRI Vocational High School students. Considering the low culture of saving among students, especially saving at the bank. This activity aims to provide knowledge and understanding of how to save using SimPel Savings and how to save properly with pocket money given by parents. The activity method uses stages including: 1). Convey or inform the school that there will be socialization and counseling programs; 2). Collection of information about problems that exist in schools; 3). We prepare material to be disseminated; 4). The Bank also prepares banners and door prizes; 5). Implementation of socialization regarding saving. The material presented regarding Simpel is the definition of SimPel savings, the benefits of Simpel Savings, and how to save using Simpel Savings and plus how much the initial deposit is to make Simple Savings. The results of this activity received a good response from students and teachers. Begin to understand what Simple Savings is, how to save properly, and the benefits of saving for the long term. Abstract

This service activity was carried out with the aim of directly assisting the reporting of the 2022 annual SPT as well as matching ID Number with TIN for Individual Taxpayer. There is a difference with previous years because it was followed by the matching of ID Number as TIN. The implementation method is carried out directly and via zoom. This activity went well. The total number of participants accompanied was 31 Individual Taxpayer. Individual Taxpayer who are accompanied include permanent employees, freelancers and MSME entrepreneurs. The 2022 Annual reporting process for Individual Taxpayer is running smoothly. The problem with reporting that occurs is more towards the taxpayer's unpreparedness of data. However, some of the obstacles in matching ID Number as TIN are more related to population issues. For this population problem, taxpayers must take care of it themselves with relevant government departments. Activities to match ID Number as TIN should continue to be carried out bearing in mind that the implementation of ID Number as TIN will be carried out in full starting January 1, 2024.

Abstract

This service aims to increase awareness of the importance of halal certification among MSMEs in Grogol Village, Kediri, as well as provide assistance in applying for NIB and halal certification. The activity method is carried out through a door-to-door approach, where the KKN team visits MSMEs directly to provide outreach and assistance in the registration process. As a result, six MSMEs succeeded in obtaining NIB, while seven other MSMEs are currently in the halal certification process. This includes four fried onion MSMEs and three upil cracker MSMEs. It is hoped that this activity can help Grogol Village MSMEs improve the quality of their products, develop their businesses at national and international levels, and open up wider employment opportunities. The door-to-door strategy has proven effective in conveying information and providing direct assistance to MSMEs, thereby increasing awareness of the importance of halal certification for their products.

Abstract

This service program aims to increase community collaboration in building Jambearum Village to be stunting free through optimizing human resource management. The results of outreach activities regarding stunting show that the community feels helped and understands the importance of preventing stunting. Through the ABCD (Asset-Based Community Development) method, we convey information and empower the community to apply knowledge regarding stunting prevention. With strong collaboration, we hope that this effort can reduce the stunting rate in Sumber Kokap Timur and Sumber Kokap Barat Hamlets, Jambearum Village. The success of this program is measured by participation and changes in community behavior in implementing the stunting prevention measures that have been socialized.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase the online visibility of Padma Agrowisata, a village-owned enterprise (Bumdes) in Pandantoyo Village, Ngancar District, Kediri Regency, through training on the use of Google Maps in promoting tourist destinations. The service method used is participatory action research (PAR), which involves active participation from business owners, village governments, and the surrounding community. Through PAR, intensive training was carried out on how to utilize the Google Maps feature to increase Padma Agrowisata's exposure online. The result of this dedication is that Padma Agrowisata's visibility has significantly increased by making this tourist destination known to more people through online platforms. Thus, this service aims to support village economic growth by increasing the number of visitors and income from the tourism sector, as well as providing positive benefits for the local community.

Abstract

This community service aims to increase consumer confidence in MSME products in Jerukwangi Village through socializing the halal certification program. The service method applied is service learning, where service participants play an active role in providing understanding to MSME players about the importance of halal certification. The main objective involves participants in interactive and participatory learning, enabling them to understand firsthand the positive impact of the halal certification program on increasing consumer confidence. The results of the service include a better understanding from MSME players regarding the process of obtaining halal certification, improving product quality, and increasing consumer confidence. Thus, it is hoped that this service can make a positive contribution to the development of MSMEs in Jerukwangi Village through increasing compliance with halal principles and increasing product competitiveness.

Abstract

The implementation of Real Work Lectures (KKN) in Sendang Village aims to support the KKN theme that has been established by the campus, namely "Building a Sustainable Village Based on Strengthening Religious Moderation and Local Wisdom". Apart from that, students are expected to be able to share the knowledge gained during lectures, participate actively, and have a sense of concern for various problems faced by society in the field. It is hoped that this KKN activity can increase mutually beneficial collaboration between students, the community, and the village government. The method used in this service is community participation and empowerment through student participation in community activities. The results of this service activity include increasing community awareness and participation in strengthening religious moderation and applying local wisdom for sustainable village development. Apart from that, the creation of positive synergy between students, the community, and the village government also contributes to achieving better development goals for Sendang Village. This KKN activity is a real step in realizing sustainable development based on religious values and local wisdom.

Abstract

This service aims to increase understanding of making SAK EMKM-based financial reports using Accurate Online software, as well as introduce the use of this software and provide assistance in financial reporting to CV Putra Wijaya MSMEs in Kediri City. Service methods include observing the process of processing transactions and financial reports, training in preparing financial reports, as well as assistance in recording and preparing financial reports. The results show that the mentoring focus on resolving CV Putra Wijaya's financial reporting problems encourages the need for appropriate preparation and data collection to prepare financial reports according to applicable standards. This is expected to make a positive contribution to improving the skills and quality of MSME financial reporting.

Abstract

This dedication is motivated by the awareness of the importance of providing a comprehensive understanding of the teachings of Islam to the community. Misunderstandings can have negative effects on both the religion itself and the community. Therefore, proper guidance is needed with the right approach, both in terms of content, methods, and language of communication. Al-Hidayah Mosque in Kujangsari village was chosen as the location for this dedication project for several reasons, including having a large congregation and being a center for religious activities in the village. The target of this dedication is the 150 members of the Al-Hidayah Mosque congregation. The dedication was carried out using a teaching approach through Muharoman activities with a lecture method. The results of the dedication showed satisfactory outcomes, where the participants increased their religious awareness and understanding of the teachings of Islam.

Abstract

The use of digital payment methods has become a necessity for MSMEs in increasing operational efficiency and competitiveness, including Starra Kitchen, which is trying to follow this trend. This community service activity aims to assist Starra Kitchen in integrating ShopeePay as a digital payment method. The implementation of the activity involves a service learning approach involving a team of lecturers and students. The stages include identifying needs, training, technical implementation, and evaluation. The training includes account creation, ShopeePay application integration, and simulation of its use. This activity is carried out in a participatory manner through discussions and direct assistance. The results of the activity show that Starra Kitchen has succeeded in integrating ShopeePay as a payment method, which is expected to increase transaction efficiency, reduce recording errors, and expand customer access. The success of this activity is the first step in Starra Kitchen's digital transformation, as well as encouraging MSMEs to utilize financial technology to improve the sustainability and competitiveness of their businesses.
