Welfare: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat is a blind peer-reviewed journal dedicated to the publication of the results of community service. The articles published in the Welfare Journal include the results of original dedication. Welfare is published four times a year by the literacy service journal as a journal manager at Faculty of Islamic Economis and Business, IAIN Kediri. Welfare accepts manuscripts or articles to strengthen the fields of applied and social sciences from various academics and researchers, both nationally and internationally. Abstract

Stress is an unavoidable reality of everyday life, caused by changes that require adjustment. After being given counseling, it is hoped that the elderly can understand stress management. After getting an explanation about stress management, participants Counselors are expected to know the meaning of stress, the signs and symptoms of stress, the causes of stress, and stress management. The problem is that some elderly people in Bintan Happy House experience mild stress because they still do not understand how to manage stress in the elderly. The basic thing that is offered to help solve the problem is counseling activities for the elderly at Bintan Happy House, which are packaged with the activity name "Health Education on Stress Management in the Elderly at Bintan Happy House". Activities are carried out using lecture, discussion, and question-and-answer methods. The results obtained after education were that the elderly who took part in health education activities about stress management in the elderly could understand how to manage stress in the elderly at Bahgia Bintan House. Thus, from the evaluation that has been carried out, the elderly in Bintan Happy House can manage stress well.

Abstract

Internet users around the world, especially in Indonesia, are dominated by Millennials. The search for identity and even religious knowledge, which is crucial, has made millennials choose the internet as a source of knowledge that is currently in demand. A preacher, through his official channels, spreads his da'wah through several social media platforms that are considered close to all levels of society. Youtube is one of the social media platforms that is in great demand by many millennial viewers who cannot be stopped today. This community service aims to explain the language of da'wah in a digital frame, which sees the YouTube phenomenon as a social media that conveys da'wah messages to get to know Islam better. Language, in a broad sense, is a mediator for conveying messages from speakers to listeners. The information that arrives can be full, half-full, or even lost. But for whatever reason, the delivery of Islamic da'wah messages cannot be underestimated. Especially in a digital frame that spreads like a virus. Millennials must get full information so they can get to know Islam more closely and be able to apply it in the right language and habits in their lives.

Abstract

YAPPI Wonosari Vocational School (STM) is a private vocational high school with A accreditation, having its address at Bansari, Kepek Wonosari, Gunungkidul. With a capacity of 20 classes, divided into class X, there are 8 classes; class XI, there are 8 classes; and class XII, there are 4 classes. The aim is to provide knowledge about the importance of adolescent reproductive health. The service method is provided by providing counseling to adolescents at the YAPPI Vocational School (STM) in Wonosari, Gunungkidul, regarding adolescent reproductive health. The results of the devotion before giving showed that the majority had less knowledge, namely 15 people, or 45.71%. After the counseling was carried out, knowledge was measured again, and it was proven that there was an increase in the number of 12 people, or 37.14%, having good knowledge. Knowledge is the result of knowing, and this occurs after someone makes observations of certain objects. Observation occurs through the five human senses, namely the senses of sight, hearing, smell, taste, and touch. Most of human knowledge is acquired through the eyes and ears, that is, through the process of seeing and hearing reality.

Abstract

Psychosomatic is a disease that involves the mind and body, where the mind influences the body until the disease appears or gets worse. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of knowledge in the elderly after being given education through the X banner media. In this study, researchers used a quantitative approach by filling out a pre-post test questionnaire. The data collection method in this study was through observation, filling out pre-post test questionnaires and documentation. The results showed that the provision of education through the X banner media had significant results after the pre-post test was carried out, increasing the knowledge of the elderly so as to help the elderly open their minds, be aware, and be able to solve their own problems, so that the elderly became more comfortable with their condition and did not interfere with their daily activities. -days.

Abstract

Indonesian people often use foreign terms in everyday life, one of which is a term in the field of computing. The combination of advances in computer technology and communication technology has given rise to new terms in this field because the terms used are terms in a foreign language. Transferring the terms of the field of science into Indonesian must be done so as not to cause problems. However, in reality, there are still many people who have not received information related to this matter. The solution offered is for the Community Service Implementation Team to provide socialization about the Equivalence of Indonesian Language Computer Terms in Increasing Love for the Indonesian Language at Karang Taruna RT 011 RW 03, Bangka, South Jakarta. The method used in carrying out community service is online. The results achieved are the creation of an understanding of partners related to Indonesian Equivalent Words in the Field of Computers (PAKABAIN BIKOM). In addition, the outputs generated from this activity are in the form of socialization posters and videos.

Abstract

This activity aims to provide education to teachers and parents regarding the impact of gadget use in early childhood. The method applied in this service activity is counseling and presenting material by the service team in collaboration with Plus Muhammadiyah Pancor Elementary School. The results of this activity confirm that the role of parents is very crucial in supervising children's use of gadgets. Setting the duration of time and limiting access to features and applications on gadgets is also a very important step to prevent children from becoming too dependent on gadgets and to avoid exposure to material that is not appropriate for their age.

Abstract

Business and digital are interrelated, as is the use of existing technology to run and develop a business. In this digital era, marketing is not only done offline but is starting to switch to digital marketing. Doing digital marketing by utilizing social media and the marketplace. This training program aims to assist businessmen in the regions and districts in utilizing digital technology. The method of implementing this activity includes coordination of activities, preparation of tools, implementation, and evaluation. This training activity was held on the STMIK AMIKA Soppeng campus with speakers by M. Adnan Aries, CEO and Founder of Start Up KEDIP, with the target audience of students who want to increase their knowledge and quality of human resources. The conclusion obtained from the survey results of training activities is that the training has been carried out properly.

Abstract

The development of Samosir as a tourist destination has focused on international development. This is good news for the people of Samosir. This will have an impact on increasing opportunities in the economic sector of the community in Samosir. One of the skills required is language proficiency. Through this, it is hoped that children living in Samosir will be able to understand the importance of international languages and develop enthusiasm to learn more about English. The method for carrying out community service is by using lectures, question and answer sessions, and role playing practices. Through the application of these three methods, participants' enthusiasm for learning English increased. Through the implementation of this service, it can be concluded that the children in Salaon Toba Village show a high level of attention to English language provision. This can be seen from the enthusiasm and interest shown by both the children, who are the objects of this service activity, and the local village head. The positive response can also be seen in the public's interest in this program. At the end of the activity, it was seen that motivation to learn English increased among the children of Salaon Toba Village.

Abstract

Accounting can be found anywhere and by anyone. Recording financial statements is an important activity in accounting. Financial statements are not only needed by companies but also by individuals. Santri becomes part of accounting by recording monthly money management. Santris have difficulty recording financial reports clearly, in detail, and systematically. The purpose of the service is to train students to record simple financial reports in managing money. The service team used a training method through four stages. Material exposure, training accompanied by direct assistance, discussion-question, answer, and evaluation. The service was carried out at Luqman Hakim Islamic boarding school in Rowolaku village on May 24, 2023, at 15.00 WIB by 10 santris. The results of this training were that the santri participated in the training enthusiastically. The delivery of material is light, according to needs, and easy to understand, with direct training assistance, exciting discussions, sufficient training duration, and evaluation through questionnaires as a measure of success. Santri was helped and able to record simple financial reports. This is an effort to manage santri finances and minimize waste. Financial reports help students organize finances clearly and systematically so that it is clear between money and needs in a certain period.

Abstract

The aim of this service activity is to provide training and educate students about the benefits and importance of keeping simple financial records and introducing effective and accurate financial literacy. This service activity uses training methods. Some of them are elementary school students in Kwasen Village, located in Kesesi District, who do not yet understand what cash is and how to apply it because several classes have not yet implemented the cash system. Because of this, simple financial recording training activities were carried out and introduced financial literacy by providing material about the meaning of cash and the function of cash. Participants were asked to listen to the explanation in order to understand the concept of the class cash system. It can be concluded that elementary school children in Kwasen village still do not implement cash records, but they have been taught to save by their parents. So, by carrying out this training, it is hoped that it will be a provision for them in class to implement the treasurer's cash system.
