Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate an Android-based learning media application, utilizing the Kodular platform, for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) focusing on Qur’an and Sunnah material. The application is designed as a learning guideline for grade VII students at SMPN 1 Palangka Raya. Employing the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), the research encompassed needs analysis, product design, iterative development, and validation stages. The developed application integrates interactive content, educational videos, and assessment quizzes. Validation by media experts yielded a very feasible score of 98.43%, while content experts rated it 80.77% feasible. Subsequent small-scale and large-scale field trials with students confirmed positive responses, achieving feasibility scores of 81.84% and 88.54% respectively. These findings indicate that the Kodular-based learning application is highly feasible, effective, and suitable for enhancing students' engagement and ability to read the Qur’an with proper tajweed. This media innovation offers a promising, accessible, and engaging solution to improve Islamic Religious Education delivery at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Transformative Islamic education represents an educational paradigm that integrates Islamic values with social realities to develop individuals who are spiritually, intellectually, and morally holistic. This study aims to elucidate the foundational concepts and objectives of transformative Islamic education, as well as its significance within the Indonesian educational context. Employing a qualitative library research methodology, relevant literatures on Islamic education and social transformation were analyzed. Findings indicate that this educational approach transcends mere knowledge transmission, focusing instead on character development, humanistic values, and the cultivation of critical and participatory thinking. Rooted in core Islamic principles such as tauhid (the oneness of God) and human stewardship as khalifah (vicegerents), its objectives include enhancing individual quality, fostering social awareness, promoting justice, and integrating knowledge with spirituality. Consequently, transformative Islamic education plays a strategic role in nurturing generations capable of confronting contemporary challenges and contributing meaningfully to a just and civilized society.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of implementing Salam contracts on consumer interest in the poultry agribusiness sector, specifically at Chicken Jaya Poultry Farm in Karang Duwak, Arosbaya. The Salam contract, a pre-paid sales agreement with future delivery, has emerged as a Sharia-compliant financing model that reduces risks and enhances transaction transparency in agricultural businesses. The research employs a qualitative approach, using triangulation to gather data through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation. Findings indicate that the implementation of Salam contracts has significantly contributed to increased consumer loyalty, fostered greater transparency between producers and consumers, and stabilised product prices. Furthermore, the study highlights the potential of Salam contracts to improve consumer trust and satisfaction, offering a viable alternative to conventional financing methods in agribusiness. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on the practical applications of Salam contracts in small-scale agricultural enterprises, suggesting that such contracts could be an effective tool for enhancing consumer engagement and trust in agricultural sectors.

Abstract

This study investigates the persistent structural gap between the theoretical potential and realized implementation of Zakat, Infaq, and Sadaqah (ZIS) as Islamic fiscal instruments for equitable income redistribution in Indonesia. Drawing on consolidated national data from the National Zakat Agency (BAZNAS), Indonesia's annual zakat potential is estimated at IDR 327.6 trillion. However, actual ZIS collections consistently fall short: IDR 12.7 trillion in 2020, IDR 14.7 trillion in 2021, IDR 22.2 trillion in 2022, and IDR 28.7 trillion (provisional) in 2023 .  The 2023 realization represents merely 8.8% of total potential, leaving over IDR 298.9 trillion unutilized and signalling systemic inefficiencies in philanthropy governance. Employing a library research methodology that analyzes BAZNAS datasets, BPS poverty metrics, and Islamic economics literature, this study identifies three primary constraints: fragmented institutional coordination between ZIS management and fiscal authorities; deficiencies in public financial literacy regarding contemporary zakat obligations; and inadequate digital infrastructure for transparent distribution.Modelling based on BAZNAS-BPS data indicates that harnessing just 30% of ZIS potential (approximately IDR 98.3 trillion) could significantly reduce Indonesia's Gini coefficient by 0.03 points and alleviate extreme poverty for 4.2 million citizens. This paper concludes by advocating for integrated policy reforms centered on digitalized collection systems, sharia-compliant fiscal integration, and targeted religious education to transform ZIS into an effective redistributive mechanism aligned with the maq??id al-shar??a (higher objectives of Islamic law).

Abstract

This article discusses the role of religious leaders and health workers in the prevention-provision of eucalyptus oil steam therapy for toddlers with respiratory infections in Jombang Village, Jombang District, Jombang Regency. This study is a qualitative case study approach. Data sources were selected based on competencies, including 2 health workers and 2 religious leaders, through interviews, observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and concluding extended observation and confirmation. The results of the study concluded; that collaborative religious leaders were carried out by increasing their understanding of respiratory infections, and behaving in a clean and healthy lifestyle. Health workers provide eucalyptus oil steam therapy effectively to help smooth breathing, thin secretions, relieve pain in the baby's throat.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to describe, analyze and provide interpretation of the instillation of Islamic character education values ??in street children at the Al-Falah Al-Makky Islamic Boarding School, Putat Lor, Gondanglegi, Malang. This study uses a qualitative approach, a type of research that produces findings that are not obtained by statistical procedures or other quantification tools. This can lead to research on a person's life, history, behavior or interactional relationships. This concept emphasizes that qualitative research is characterized by an emphasis on the use of non-statistics (mathematics), especially in the process of data analysis to produce research findings naturally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal in managing and improving the quality of teacher performance in the field of education. The optimization of the teacher performance management information system is a strategic step to ensure the achievement of educational goals. At MAN 01 Bondowoso, the principal holds a key role in utilizing information technology to monitor, evaluate, and enhance teacher performance, thereby creating a more effective and high-quality learning process. This research employed a qualitative approach to understand the phenomena experienced by research subjects, such as behavior, perception, motivation, actions, and others, holistically and descriptively using words and language, within a specific and natural context through the use of various naturalistic methods. To ensure the accuracy and accountability of the data, information was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. The data obtained from the field needed to be carefully and thoroughly recorded; therefore, data analysis was conducted immediately using the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data display, and data verification. Triangulation of sources, techniques, and timing was implemented to ensure the study's transferability, dependability, and confirmability.The practical implication of these findings is the importance of digital leadership training for school principals and the integration of information technology into sustainable education management systems. The optimization of MIS directly contributes to improving teacher professionalism and the overall quality of education in madrasahs.

Abstract

Leadership is a daily issue in family life, society, organization,state and nation. Leadership affects the family order, the progress of the organization and even thestate and nation. More broadly, the leadership tasks given by God to humans are diverse. Starting from the leadership position, himself, a family, an organization, even a large organization like a nation. In addition to the diverse leadership tasks, leadership models are also diverse. This is partly due to the different characteristics of each person. However, Islam does not simply surrender to the leadership model based on character. Islam has provided direction and examples to become a good leader. These examples have been clearly conveyed in the Qur'an and Hadith. In this article, the author discusses specifically the leadership models of Manifesto Leadership and Situational Leadership which are reviewed from the perspective of the Qur'an and Hadith, as well as their implementation in Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

Moderate leadership is leadership that can be used to reconcile differences. The implementation of moderate leadership is the central point and policy determinant of activities to be implemented in the school environment. Moderate leadership aims to provide understanding to all teachers to work well, have high performance standards and in religious activities still uphold religious beliefs. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data was collected by in-depth interviews with informants. Researchers are the main key instrument in data collection. The data was analyzed using the stages of data presentation, data condensation and drawing conclusions. Checking the validity of the data is carried out by triangulation until the data is saturated. The research results show that the implementation of moderate leadership has been carried out well, with activities including: curriculum development, teacher training, student involvement, classroom environment

Abstract

Pemberian nafkah dalam Islam menjadi tanggung jawab oleh seorang suami. Ketentuan kewajiban suami memberi nafkah menimbulkan suatu persoalan yang baru mengenai pelaksanaan istri bekerja untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengevaluasi nilai- nilai syariat yang ada pada kasus perempuan bekerja untuk nafkah. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana perempuan bekerja mencari nafkah untuk kebutuhan keluarganya dalam pandangan maqashid syariah, apa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi perempuan yang bekerja mencari nafkah, antara lain: faktor suami yang sakit, turut menyiapkan masa depan keluarga serta faktor membantu penghasilan suami untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarga dan hal ini dapat dibenarkan dengan merujuk pada maqashid syariah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan pendekatan analisis deskriptif kualitatif. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa dalam suatu keluaga suami dan istri dapat berperan sama dalam keluarga, istri berperan sebagai pencari nafkah untuk keluarganya karena berbagai faktor yang menyebabkan tidak terpenuhinya kebutuhan keluarga.
