Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Pancasila and Rahmatan lil-Alamin (P5RA) Student Profile Strengthening Project on the formation of students' tolerance attitudes in the Madrasah Aliyah environment. P5RA is an integral part of the Merdeka Curriculum implemented in madrasas, with the main objective of instilling character values, including attitudes of tolerance between religious communities and social diversity. This study uses a correlational quantitative approach with data collection techniques through a Google Form-based questionnaire distributed to 124 grade XI students at MA Negeri 2 Probolinggo. The research instrument consisted of 24 statement items for variable X and 10 items for variable Y that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis used Pearson correlation and simple linear regression. The results showed that there was a very strong relationship between the implementation of P5RA and students' tolerance attitude with a correlation value of 0.84. The coefficient of determination of 69.88% indicates that most of the variation in students' tolerance attitude is influenced by the implementation of P5RA. The regression equation obtained is Y = 0.41X + 0.88, which indicates that an increase in P5RA implementation will have a positive impact on increasing students' tolerance attitudes. This study concludes that P5RA has a significant role in shaping students' tolerant character. The implications of the results of this study reinforce the importance of integrating the values of religious moderation and tolerance in every aspect of learning and school activities. Recommendations are given to madrasah and policy makers to continue to develop the P5RA program thoroughly and sustainably.

Abstract

This study aims to develop and validate an Android-based learning media application, utilizing the Kodular platform, for Islamic Religious Education (PAI) focusing on Qur’an and Sunnah material. The application is designed as a learning guideline for grade VII students at SMPN 1 Palangka Raya. Employing the 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate), the research encompassed needs analysis, product design, iterative development, and validation stages. The developed application integrates interactive content, educational videos, and assessment quizzes. Validation by media experts yielded a very feasible score of 98.43%, while content experts rated it 80.77% feasible. Subsequent small-scale and large-scale field trials with students confirmed positive responses, achieving feasibility scores of 81.84% and 88.54% respectively. These findings indicate that the Kodular-based learning application is highly feasible, effective, and suitable for enhancing students' engagement and ability to read the Qur’an with proper tajweed. This media innovation offers a promising, accessible, and engaging solution to improve Islamic Religious Education delivery at the junior high school level.

Abstract

Transformative Islamic education represents an educational paradigm that integrates Islamic values with social realities to develop individuals who are spiritually, intellectually, and morally holistic. This study aims to elucidate the foundational concepts and objectives of transformative Islamic education, as well as its significance within the Indonesian educational context. Employing a qualitative library research methodology, relevant literatures on Islamic education and social transformation were analyzed. Findings indicate that this educational approach transcends mere knowledge transmission, focusing instead on character development, humanistic values, and the cultivation of critical and participatory thinking. Rooted in core Islamic principles such as tauhid (the oneness of God) and human stewardship as khalifah (vicegerents), its objectives include enhancing individual quality, fostering social awareness, promoting justice, and integrating knowledge with spirituality. Consequently, transformative Islamic education plays a strategic role in nurturing generations capable of confronting contemporary challenges and contributing meaningfully to a just and civilized society.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of implementing Salam contracts on consumer interest in the poultry agribusiness sector, specifically at Chicken Jaya Poultry Farm in Karang Duwak, Arosbaya. The Salam contract, a pre-paid sales agreement with future delivery, has emerged as a Sharia-compliant financing model that reduces risks and enhances transaction transparency in agricultural businesses. The research employs a qualitative approach, using triangulation to gather data through in-depth interviews, direct observations, and documentation. Findings indicate that the implementation of Salam contracts has significantly contributed to increased consumer loyalty, fostered greater transparency between producers and consumers, and stabilised product prices. Furthermore, the study highlights the potential of Salam contracts to improve consumer trust and satisfaction, offering a viable alternative to conventional financing methods in agribusiness. This research contributes to the growing body of literature on the practical applications of Salam contracts in small-scale agricultural enterprises, suggesting that such contracts could be an effective tool for enhancing consumer engagement and trust in agricultural sectors.

Abstract

This study examines the rhetorical functions of muhassinat lafziyyah within the framework of 'ilm al-badi in the Qur’an and Hadith, focusing on how phonetic features construct meaning and reinforce spiritual messages. While traditionally viewed as mere ornamentation, this research explores their functional role beyond linguistic embellishment. Employing a qualitative descriptive-analytical method with a balaghi approach, the study analyzes selected eschatological verses and Hadith texts containing saja (rhyme), jinas (paronomasia), and iqtibas (intertextual quotation). The findings reveal that these devices function as powerful rhetorical tools that strengthen semantic depth, intensify emotional resonance, and facilitate memorization. For instance, saja in Hadith creates rhythmic harmony that reinforces moral emphasis, while jinis in Ar-Rum (55) and Al-Qiyamah (29–30) generates layered meanings and ironic contrasts regarding worldly transience. This study demonstrates that sound patterns (lafz) are inseparable from meaning (ma'na), playing a crucial role in conveying theological and ethical values. Consequently, understanding these rhetorical functions contributes to a more comprehensive appreciation of the spiritual depth in Islamic discourse.

Abstract

The increase in cases of self-harm in Indonesia necessitates preventive measures from both the health and education sectors. One such measure is to conduct research on this issue. This study aims to explore the relationship between self-esteem, religiosity, and loneliness among self-harmers. A total of 368 participants were involved in this study, namely self-harmers aged 16 to 38 years old in Indonesia, who were selected as the population using a purposive sampling approach.. Data were collected using loneliness, self-esteem, and religiosity scales adapted into Indonesian. Data analysis using a two-predictor regression test found that the significance value of the p-value was 0.000 (p < 0.01), and the value of Rx1,2y = 0.611 was obtained. The R-squared value of 0.373 indicates that the study contributes an effective 37.3%, thereby confirming that the hypothesis stating there is a significant negative relationship between self-esteem and religiosity with loneliness among self-harm perpetrators is acceptable. This means that the higher the religiosity and self-esteem of an individual, the lower the level of loneliness experienced by self-harmers.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of the joyful learning model to improve the quality of Qur’an and Hadith instruction at MAN Kotawaringin Timur, a senior Islamic high school in Central Kalimantan, Indonesia. A mixed-methods design was employed, combining qualitative approaches—classroom observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis—with quantitative student surveys and formative assessments. The findings reveal that joyful learning effectively increased student engagement and motivation. More than 90% of students agreed that game-based and collaborative activities made it easier to understand the material, while teachers observed higher participation and enthusiasm throughout the lessons. The average formative test score reached 84 out of 100, reflecting solid comprehension and active involvement. These results indicate that joyful learning fosters a dynamic, participatory, and meaningful classroom atmosphere that supports deeper understanding of Qur’an and Hadith lessons. The study concludes that joyful learning is a promising pedagogical approach for enhancing engagement, motivation, and learning outcomes in Islamic religious education at the Madrasah Aliyah level.
