Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of technology in improving early childhood social skills in Early Childhood Education. This study departs from the increasing use of technology in early childhood education and the debate about its impact on children's social interactions. Although technology has great potential in supporting collaborative learning, its effectiveness in building children's social skills still needs further research. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type, with data collection techniques carried out through interviews with teachers, parents, and children, as well as direct observation in the classroom and documentation related to the use of technology in learning. The results of the study indicate that the application of technology in collaborative learning can improve children's communication, cooperation, and social interaction skills. The findings also reveal that the role of parents and teachers is crucial in directing the use of technology to continue to support healthy social interactions. This study is expected to provide a deeper understanding of how technology can be optimized in early childhood education to strengthen their social skills.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of mindfulness in reducing students' academic stress in junior high school and to assess its long-term impact on students' emotional well-being and mental health. This research departs from students' increasing academic stress, which often hurts their emotional well-being. Mindfulness programs involving breathing exercises and meditation are expected to help students manage academic stress and develop mental resilience. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive design, collecting data through interviews, observations, and documentation from students, teachers, and principals. The data was then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The findings show that mindfulness programs have succeeded in reducing students' academic stress and anxiety and improving their emotional well-being. In addition, mindfulness also has a long-term impact by helping students develop mental resilience to face future challenges. The results of the study hopefully can provide benefits that mindfulness can be applied in elementary schools as a preventive effort to reduce academic stress, as well as encourage the development of a more comprehensive educational curriculum that prioritizes student welfare as well as providing insights for the development of education policies that integrate mindfulness in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the influence of social media on the formation of students' self-identity and interpersonal skills. In a social context, social media offers opportunities for students to express themselves and network, but it also brings challenges such as social pressure and a decline in face-to-face interaction. This study was conducted with a descriptive qualitative approach in State Islamic universities, using interview, observation, and documentation techniques to collect data. The results show that social media allows students to form digital identities through tailored content, but it often raises unrealistic social expectations. In addition, reliance on social media reduces the intensity and quality of face-to-face interactions, which impacts interpersonal skills such as empathy and listening. This research makes an important contribution to understanding the dynamics of social media in the socio-cultural context of Indonesia, but it has limitations in population coverage. These findings are expected to serve as a basis for further research and the development of more thoughtful social media use strategies.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of implementing AI in improving the quality of religious learning and students' moral achievement at madrasas. This research is driven by the challenge of increasing the effectiveness of in-depth religious learning, which requires a broad and contextual understanding, amidst the limited access to education. The research method used is a case study with a qualitative approach, involving observation and interviews with students and teachers, the results of which are then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman approach. The research findings show that the application of AI in religious learning can provide relevant and personalized materials, increase accessibility, and support flexible learning. In addition, positive reinforcement has been shown to increase students' self-confidence which contributes to increasing their participation and academic achievement. Emotional resilience supported by an empathetic approach from teachers has also been shown to increase students' mental resilience, help them cope with academic and social pressures, and play a role in achieving better morals. The contribution of this research is to provide insight into the importance of integrating AI, positive reinforcement, and emotional resilience in improving the quality of religious education and students' moral achievement, which can be used as a model for the development of religious education in the future.
