Abstract

Early childhood is the initial stage of human development. Parents have an important role in providing assistance during the child's development period. Mentoring is needed to achieve optimal child development, one of which is social emotional development. The creation of a comfortable and safe environment and the frequency of intense assistance by parents can support children's social emotional development. In this way, children become individuals who are able to recognize themselves and are sensitive to the environment. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of parental assistance on the social emotional development of children at BA Aisyiyah Keniten Ponorogo. The method used in this research is the quantitative research method. Data collection techniques use questionnaires. The number of respondents in this study was 15 respondents who were parents of BA Aisyiyah Ponorogo students. Data analysis was carried out using a simple linear regression test. The results of the simple linear regression test show that the calculated F value is 20.501 with a significance value of 0.00 < 0.05, so it can be stated that the parental assistance variable (X) has an influence on the child's social emotional development variable (Y). With this, H1 is accepted and Ho is rejected.

Abstract

The development of emotional intelligence as one of human potential is in line with the task of education, which is to discover and develop the basic abilities possessed by young children, so that they can be actualized in everyday life. Emotional intelligence is also related to human potential as social creatures. The ideal parenting pattern in developing emotional intelligence is a democratic parenting pattern, that is, a parenting pattern with parents who are high in demands (demandingness) and responsiveness. Democratic parenting makes children become people who are willing to accept criticism, respect others, have high self-confidence and are able to take responsibility for their social life. This research aims to determine the influence of the role of democratic parenting used by parents in developing children's emotional intelligence, where researchers use qualitative research methods with data collection techniques using interviews and observation. The target of this research is parents who have young children. The research results show that democratic parenting is an ideal parenting style and has a significant influence on increasing children's emotional intelligence.

Abstract

This research is a descriptive qualitative study that purpose to describe the role of the hostel manager in the Safinatul Huda Surabaya Pondok Pesantren in the management of hostel learning environment. A boarding house is a form of institution that organizes educational programmes through non-formal education units, which supports lifelong education on Islamic religious education services. The dormitory is a lodging place for the mourners as a means of study, activity, and rest. The dormitory is a real learning environment for the centurion, so it requires governance. The management of a hostel environment is carried out by the hostel manager as the manager of the study environment. The study took all members of the hostel of 7 (seven) people as the primary source of data that is thought to be able to explain the circumstances, as well as the social atmosphere at the site of the study, that is, a hostel. Supported by documentation and observation results, such documents and observations are comparative data for the validation of primary data. The results of the research show that the role of the manager in the management of space utilization is considered less effective in the utilization of the function of the room. A contributing factor to sustainable environmental maintenance is central involvement in space and equipment maintenance activities. The role of the hostel manager in environmental control is less efficient and less communicative in the handling of hostels that violate hostel environmental order. The availability of incomplete management instruments on learning environmental management becomes a major obstacle in social environmental control.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the application of the Question AI (Artificial Intelligence) application to improve the learning outcomes of Package C students at UPT Mojokerto Learning Activities Studio. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative research method. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from implementing the Question AI (Artificial Intelligence) application to improve the learning outcomes of Package C students at UPT Mojokerto Learning Activity Studio are increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the learning process for Package C students as well as increasing student learning outcomes by implementing the Question AI (Artificial Intelligence) application. Intelligence as a learning medium. This can happen because of good collaboration and coordination between learning instructors and students, mutual involvement in the teaching and learning process and awareness to improve the quality of learning by using the Question AI application media. In this way, the process of improving student learning outcomes in cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects can be faster and more accurate.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using image media on the learning outcomes of package B students in PPKN subjects at UPT SKB Gresik. This type of research uses quantitative methods with the research type Pre-Experimental One-Group Pretest-Post test Design. The sample for this research was 7 package B class VIII students. The data collection technique used was questionnaires, tests (pretest and post test), observation and documentation. Data analysis used used questionnaire percentages, Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, and Hypothesis Test using parametric statistics, namely the paired sample t test. The research results show that the average value of learning outcomes has increased, with the average value of pretest results being 34, which if the learning outcome scores are categorized, 2 students get the medium category, and 5 students get the low category. After carrying out the post test, the learning outcome score increased with an average score of 64, where if categorized, 3 students got the high category, and 4 students got the medium category. The results of the pretest and posttest data were then shown by hypothesis testing using the paired sample t test, which obtained a value of 0.000 < 0.05, which means there is an influence of the use of learning media in the form of images on the learning outcomes of package B students in PPKN subjects at UPT SKB Gresik.

Abstract

Education is a process of developing individual skills in the attitudes and behavior of society. The purpose of education is to prepare students through teaching guidance and training for their roles in the future. Therefore, we need educational institutions that are able to realize educational goals. One of them is non-formal education, namely the Learning Activities Pleace Surabaya, which is a non-formal education institution which aims to provide equal package C and vocational education for students. Entrepreneurship learning is one of the education provided by the Surabaya Learning Activity with the aim of providing provisions for students to have the ability or in the field of entrepreneurship through practical entrepreneurship training in a bazaar. The method used is qualitative with participant observation and in-depth interview techniques. The results of this research state that the implementation of entrepreneurship learning to foster an entrepreneurial attitude is that entrepreneurial practice activities are bazaars or stands where students in classes XI and The obstacles to this activity are facilities, capital and the enthusiasm of the students. Researchers also found that instilling an entrepreneurial attitude is giving students the freedom and confidence to be independent in preparing entrepreneurial practice markets, the opportunity and confidence to be creative and innovative in determining product ideas to be created. The opportunity and trust to be responsible for every entrepreneurial practice activity. Then there are supporting and inhibiting factors in achieving successful implementation of entrepreneurship learning.

Abstract

This research aims to describe and analyze the application of the sorogan method in the process of reading the yellowclassicalassessment process of reading the yellowclassical books at Al Fathimiyyah Bahrul Ulum Islamic Boarding School. Tambak Beras Jombang.. The approach used in the research is descriptive qualitative. The research was conducted using data collection techniques through the process of interviews, observation and documentation. Researchers used data analysis using data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and finally conclusion drawing and verification. The result of this research is that the sorogan method provides a comprehensive and effective approach in learning assessment. The application of the sorogan method in the process of assessing the yellowclassical books at Al Fathimiyyah Islamic Boarding School by means of educators conducting observations and interviews with students through the sorogan method. At Al Fathimiyyah Islamic Boarding School, there are two types of assessments used to measure students' understanding of the material that has been taught. The two types of assessment are written exams and oral exams using the sorogan method. sorogan creates a learning environment that encourages students to be active, critical, and reflective of the material being studied. The assessment of grade promotion using the sorogan method is carried out by requiring students to attend sorogan according to a certain schedule and in front of educators who have been determined for each class. educators assess students' performance based on several criteria, such as: accuracy of reading, understanding of material, ability to explain, and ability to think critically.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, enhancing human resource quality is increasingly crucial. The sewing course at Gudo Jombang Learning Center requires the implementation of an andragogical learning approach by tutors to accommodate the learning characteristics of adult learners, particularly housewives. This study aims to describe, analyze, and identify the role of tutors, the application of the andragogical approach, and the challenges faced in improving learners' competencies in the sewing course at Gudo Jombang Leraning Center. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques of in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. The results of the research, (1) Tutors at Gudo Jombang Learning Center actively fulfill their roles as informers, organizers, motivators, facilitators, directors, mediators, initiators, and evaluators in the learning process. (2) The application of andragogical principles has been successful, evidenced by the improvement in learners' competencies in knowledge, skills, and attitudes. Learners demonstrated an understanding of basic sewing concepts, the ability to practice sewing techniques correctly, and a positive attitude toward learning. (3) Challenges in implementing the andragogical approach in the sewing course include limited facilities and infrastructure, decreasing attendance, varying levels of sewing experience, and suboptimal tutor andragogical skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan implementasi program life skill menjahit untuk mengembangkan minat dan bakat warga belajar di SKB Mojoagung Jombang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data primer dalam penelitian ini adalah Kepala SKB, Tutor dan Warga Belajar. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu kondensasi data, display data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Uji keabsahan dilakukan dengan uji kredibilitas meliputi, persisten observation, triangulasi sumber, triangulasi teknik dan member check. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji dependabilitas, uji konfirmabilitas dan uji transferbilitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan program life skill dilaksanakan dua kali dalam satu minggu. Fasilitas yang diberikan gratis dan lengkap. Diberikan sertifikat setelah lulus program. Tutor yang handa dan terdapat ruangan kelas khusus. Warga belajar konsisten mengikuti program sebagai bentuk kemauan dalam mengembangkan minat dan bakat.

Abstract

Pelatihan barista merupakan program dari hasil inovasi yang dilakukan oleh pihak PKBM budi utama. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengeksplorasi strategi promosi melalui pelatihan barista dalam meningkatkan animo peserta didik baru paket C. Pendekatan secara deskriptif kualitatif. pengambilan data secara observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi dengan narasumber ketua PKBM budi utama, dua tenaga pendidik, warga belajar C. Berdasarkan temuan fokus pertama strategi promosi melalui pelatihan barista dalam meningkatkan animo peserta didik baru paket C diantaranya menganalisis peluang barista pada warga belajar, visi dan misi jelas, memfokuskan target peminat, penggunaan media sosial, melakukan kolaborasi dan bermitra dengan tenaga ahli di dunia barista, terakhir melakukan sertifikasi kelulusan. faktor pendukung temuan diperoleh tingginya minat paket C, kredibilitas yang baik, program bervariasi, kebutuhan biaya terjangkau, kemudahan sistem pembelajaran. Sementara faktor hambatan yaitu rendahnya wawasan biji kopi, kurangnya fasilitas kopi lebih lengkap, kurangnya kerja sama dengan industri kopi, adanya pesaing, kegiatan hanya dilakukan secara tatap muka.
