Abstract

Asri Senior Day Care and Living is an institution in the form of a foundation that provides a number of elderly care services in order to achieve optimum aging. Asri SDC and Living is intended to facilitate the elderly to avoid loneliness, be independent, prosperous, and meaningful. The purpose of this study was to identify, describe and analyze the implementation of life skills and optimum aging programs for the elderly at Asri Senior Day Care and Living. This research uses qualitative research. The data sources in this study are foundation administrators, assistants / nurses, elderly program participants and elderly families. Data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the life skills program at Asri Senior Day Care and Living was implemented in the form of health check services, physical fitness, counseling, learning and brain games, skills training and spiritual refreshment. The life skills program at Asri Senior Day Care and Living is implemented by foundation administrators, assistants / nurses, workers, and volunteers. Each life skills program is carried out on a scheduled basis three days a week and incidentally on other days. For elderly people who experience challenges, they will get assistance in the form of more assistance from Asri Senior Day Care and Living. The condition of the elderly in physical, psychological, cognitive, social relations, and spiritual aspects is in optimal condition through the activities that have been provided.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the partial relationship between Parenting Patterns and Emotional Intelligence related to premarital sexual behavior and social behavior among adolescents. This study was conducted in Dusun Bareng, Banter Village, Gresik Regency. The approach and type of research used were quantitative descriptive with a correlational research type. The study population consisted of adolescents aged 12-21 years with a total of 25 people. Data were collected using questionnaires and interviews via Google Form and measured using a binary scale, then analyzed using IBM SPSS software version 25 with the Spearman Rank correlation analysis technique and a significance level of 0.05. The results showed that (1) the correlation coefficient value was greater than 0.05, namely 0.203> 0.05, then H0 was accepted and Ha was rejected. This means that there is no significant relationship between parenting patterns and emotional intelligence on premarital sexual behavior among adolescents. The correlation value is 0.548, which indicates a moderate and positive or unidirectional relationship. This means that the better the parenting pattern, the higher the emotional intelligence possessed by adolescents. (2) The correlation coefficient value is less than 0.05, namely 0.011 < 0.05, so Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This means that there is a significant relationship between parenting patterns and emotional intelligence related to social behavior among adolescents. The correlation value is 0.583, which indicates a moderate and positive or unidirectional relationship. This means that the better the parenting pattern, the higher the emotional intelligence possessed by adolescents.

Abstract

The policies set by the government during the COVID-19 pandemic greatly affected early childhood education. The government's policy of requiring children to study from home resulted in a decrease in children's learning motivation. The right learning strategy to be implemented during a pandemic is an integrated learning strategy. Integrated learning activities from the whole involve the child's experience directly, with this the child will be more motivated to learn and be able to know the skills and potential they have. This study aims to describe the implementation and results of an integrated learning strategy in increasing learning motivation during the pandemic. This research uses qualitative research methods and descriptive research types. The research was conducted on 4 teachers who teach at SPS/RA Bintang. The research data were collected using semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation methods which were carried out offline by visiting the SPS/RA Bintang institution directly. In this study, the data analysis technique used the theory of (Sugiyono, 2011) namely data reduction, data presentation, and data conclusion drawing. This study produces evidence that using an integrated learning strategy can increase children's learning motivation. Educators at SPS/RA Bintang have also made it clear that educators are also aware that children's learning motivation is very important in the learning process. Therefore, educators use integrated learning strategies as a solution to the problems they face during learning during the pandemic.

Abstract

This research was motivated by problems regarding learning motivation in students of the package C equivalence program at Gresik Learning Activity Studio during learning which was indicated to lack motivation to learn. There are factors that influence learning motivation is an extrinsic factor, namely family socioeconomic status. The purpose of this study was to analyze the socioeconomic status and learning motivation of students of package C equivalence program at Gresik Learning Activity Studio and show the relationship between family socioeconomic status and learning motivation of students of package C equivalence program at Gresik Learning Activity Studio. This study used quantitative methods with Spearman Rank correlation analysis techniques. The data collection technique used in this study was questionnaires and documentation with research respondents as many as 32 students of the Gresik Learning Activity Studio package C equivalence program. The results showed that family socioeconomic status has a positive and significant relationship with the learning motivation of Package C students at Gresik Learning Activity Studio which is indicated by a significance value of 0.013<0.05 and a correlation coefficient value of 0.432, this means that the higher the socioeconomic status of the families of students of the package C equivalence program at Gresik Learning Activity Studio, the higher the learning motivation, or vice versa, the lower the socioeconomic status of the students' families, the lower the learning motivation.

Abstract

This research discusses the relationship between learning styles and learning outcomes for Package B students at Homeschool Pena Surabaya. Learning styles influence learning outcomes, such as in mathematics and social studies. The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between learning styles and learning outcomes, especially in mathematics and social studies subjects at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya. This study uses a quantitative approach. The data collection techniques used in this research were questionnaires and documentation. Techniques for analyzing data are validity testing, reliability testing, and hypothesis testing using Spearman rank. The result of the data calculation is that the Sig. (2-tailed) 0.017. Sig value. (2-tailed) < 0.05, which means there is a significant relationship. between learning style variables and mathematics learning outcome variables. Sig. (2-tailed) 0.037. Sig value. (2-tailed) < 0.05 means there is a significant relationship between the learning style variable and the social studies learning outcome variable

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe the Implementation of Pedagogical Approaches in Improving Social Intelligence in Package A Equality Students at Kak Seto Surabaya Homeschooling. This research method is a descriptive qualitative type. The data analysis techniques used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the research can be obtained from the Implementation of Pedagogical Approaches in Improving Social Intelligence in Package A Equality Learners At Homeschooling Kak Seto Surabaya is an approach that focuses on creating an inclusive and responsive environment that supports the development of students' social and academic skills, preparing them for future social and professional challenges through interactive and collaborative methods. And social intelligence in Kak Seto Surabaya's Homeschooling involves the ability to interact, work together, and understand others in a communal environment. It strengthens the relationship between students and tutors, facilitates collaborative learning, and prepares students for community life through self-awareness, cooperation, communication, empathy, and problem-solving.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the process of implementing information and communication technology (ICT) learning in improving the digital literacy skills of package A students at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya. This research uses a descriptive qualitative type and approach. The data colllection techniques used were in depth interviews, participant observation, and documentation. The result of this research show that the implementation of ICT learning is applied to package A students through learning planning procedures, learning implementation, and learning evaluation and students can understand icons on microsoft excel, students can search for keywords, students can create microsoft excel assignment output, and students are able to communicate via email and have a positive view of using the digital internet. The supporting factors are the competence of the tutor, the interest of the students, and support of the family environment. Apart from that, the inhibiting factors are signal problems, limited learning time, and differences in technological devices.

Abstract

Motivation to learn is the existence of encouragement from outside and within students that creates a spirit of learning that can provide direction for learning activities to achieve the desired goals. Competence is a mastery of skills, abilities, knowledge, values, and attitudes that can be possessed by each individual sourced from education, training, and experience, as well as learning. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between learning motivation in sewing subjects to improve the competence of students in the package C equivalency programme at SKB Gresik. This research uses a quantitative approach, with product moment correlation analysis techniques with sampling using the slovin formula, the number of samples in this study was 48 students of the package C equivalency programme. The research location is at SKB Gresik. Data collection techniques are observation, questionnaires, and documentation. The results of the Pearson product moment correlation test between the learning motivation variable and the variable to improve competence, the Pearson correlation value is 0.760, which means that the relationship between learning motivation and improving competence is in the high category, based on the interpretation of the correlation coefficient. This means that the higher the learning motivation, the more the competence of students in learning increases..

Abstract

This research aims to examine the relationship between family support and learning motivation of Package B students at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya. Family support is an important factor that can influence student learning motivation, especially in a homeschooling environment which requires active involvement from parents and other family members. This research uses quantitative methods with a correlational approach. Data collection techniques used questionnaires and documentation with research respondents in grades VII, VIII and IX. The data analysis technique uses the Pearson Product formula. The results of the research show that there is a positive or unidirectional relationship between the variables of family support and learning motivation in package B students at Homeschooling Pena Surabaya, which is indicated by the significance value between family support and learning motivation is 0.010. This means the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.010 < 0.05). These findings show that the higher the support provided by the family, the higher the students' learning motivation.

Abstract

Training management is a systematic and planned effort to optimize all training components in order to achieve program objectives effectively and efficiently. Education and training management is a series of processes that include training and part of educational activities. This research aims to describe the results of the problem formulation regarding the management of basic level education and training in improving the pedagogical competence of educators. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative method where data is obtained through in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation studies. The data analysis technique in this research consists of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions or verification. The research results show that (1) management of basic level education and training programs has structured and well-organized stages, which include planning, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating; (2) erly childhood educators' pedagogical competence includes several aspects which include, the ability to understand students, systematic learning planning, implementation of educational and logical learning, evaluation of learning outcomes, and development of students' potential.
