Abstract

Flashy is a business that sells educational flashcards for children and utilizes Instagram as the primary platform to reach its target audience and enhance brand awareness. This research aims to analyze Flashy’s digital marketing strategies in building brand awareness through Instagram. The study employs a qualitative approach by conducting content analysis on Flashy's Instagram account (@by.flashy), focusing on the types of content posted, posting frequency, utilization of Instagram features, and audience interaction. The results indicate that promotional content is the most effective in attracting audience attention, while educational content plays a vital role in fostering brand loyalty. Consistent posting frequency is essential in maintaining engagement, and the use of Instagram’s Reels feature has proven to be highly effective in reaching a broader audience. Furthermore, interaction through Direct Messages (DM) helps build stronger connections with the audience, although response speed needs improvement, especially during busy periods. Overall, Flashy’s marketing strategy on Instagram is relatively successful in increasing brand awareness, but there is still room for improvement in terms of consistency and responsiveness. This study provides practical recommendations for small businesses to optimize their digital marketing strategies on social media platforms like Instagram.

Abstract

Adaptive Selling Behavior (ASB) has been shown to enhance sales performance significantly; however, the decision-making processes of salespeople need to be more structured in the existing literature. To address this, a systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted, utilizing the Theories, Contexts, and Methods (TCM) as well as the Antecedents, Decisions, and Outcomes (ADO) frameworks, analyzing 41 articles published between 2004 and 2024. The study introduces the SPIDER framework—comprising Strategic Responsiveness, Persuasive Influence, Independent Decision-Making, Dynamic Adaptability, Empathic Understanding, and Resilient Flexibility—as a critical contribution to organizing and measuring decision-making in ASB. This framework bridges theoretical constructs with practical applications, offering clear, measurable guidance for enhancing adaptive strategies in sales. Furthermore, it highlights critical gaps in the literature, particularly regarding the interplay of SPIDER's dimensions and its application in various industrial and cultural contexts. The study outlines a future research agenda focused on validating the SPIDER framework and exploring its potential as a practical tool for developing adaptive sales strategies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the learning process by MSMEs in Banyumas during the COVID-19 pandemic, which entered Indonesia in early March 2020, as well as develop strategies to support supply chain resilience. This research uses a case study design with a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection was carried out through interviews and observations. The interview results were transcribed and analyzed using an analysis template through the coding obtained. The research results show that each MSME has its way of studying the business situation to maintain the supply chain during the COVID-19 pandemic. Some informants collaborated with online service applications because of government regulations regarding distance restrictions in public places, business environments, and facility changes. Limited external activities force business actors to make supply chain processes effective. Changes in the supply chain process impact supply adjustments, affecting the storage system according to the flow of raw materials in and out. The availability of raw materials and the level of customer demand influence production activities. MSME players are carrying out a learning process to survive during the COVID-19 pandemic by prioritizing profits. MSME players implement several strategies to maintain the supply chain during the learning process. These strategies can be developed based on the results of learning by MSME actors. Strategy development is carried out through credit restructuring, competing through promotions, collaboration between MSME players, product innovation based on learning experiences, improving support services, reducing company operational costs, and focusing on market targets.
