Abstract

In early of independence, the political of Temanggung was began by establishment of KNID Temanggung, KNID?s members represent a diverse group of particular political parties. Influential political party in Temanggung is Masyumi, PNI and PKI, but the competition has not seen because Temanggung?s community is more focused on the struggle for independence. In term of national defense, in early of establishment Indoesian, the government has not dared to form a national army, thus formed BKR (Badan Keamanan Rakyat) which purpose to maintaining the public safety and public security under BPKKP (Badan Penolong Keluarga Korban Perang). In Temanggung, BKR formed in mid September with a half-strength plaaton. When the Allies forces came to Indonesia, BKR considered ineffective, so on 5th October 1945 the government issued a declare about changes BKR to TKR (Tentara Keamanan Rakyat). With that declare, Bambang Soegeng as commander BKR Temanggung opened registration for TKR Temanggung members in government offices and in headquarters of TKR Temanggung. At the Japan disarmament effort, TKR Temanggung prefers diplomacy over confrontation. TKR Temanggung treated Japanese prisoners as a old brothers. At Palagan Ambarawa war, TKR Temanggung send Battalion I/Res.18 troops under command of Major Soejoto to front Ambarawa. On 29th November 1945, Soejoto troops met Allied forces convoy and battles in Ngipik village. Seojoto and 20 troops killed in that battled.

Abstract

Nationalism is a notion which argues that the loyalty of individuals should be left to the nation-state. Indonesian nationalism is the historical phenomenon that can not be removed from the influence of colonial powers of Western nations in the context of this colonial situation, the Indonesian nationalism is a response to the terms of political, socio-economic, cultural and specifically caused by the colonial situation. By kareka, then Indonesian nationalism in itself also contains three important aspects, namely political, economic social and cultural rights. From this statement it is understandable that if someone claimed a nationalist, then he must be willing to fight for the nation and state. This is condensed when the nation can traced Indonesia struggled to achieve independence, and maintaining independence.         When in era of globalization, it seems that the values of Indonesian nationalism undermined by it. Globalization affects the various life of the nation of Indonesia, both in the field of ideology, political system or government, economics, social and cultural rights. Therefore, the essence of nationalism, Indonesia must continue to be maintained, namely the values of Pancasila, the 1945 Constitution, the love homeland, a sense of unity and unity and national insight. Also in an effort to strengthen nationalism in this era of globalization need to be pursued is a clean and authoritative government, instill and implement the teachings of religion with the best, instill and practice the values of Pancasila as well as possible, fostering the spirit of loving domestic production, and enforce rule of law to create justice for all Indonesian people.SimakBaca secara fonetik  Key words: nationalism, globalization, the values of Pancasila

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to improve learning achievement and historical awareness of students of Social 2 grade XI Senior High School 1 Boyolali by applying Group Investigation learning method (GI) by using documentary.This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research is conducted in two cycles, which is consisting of planning, action, observation, and reflection in each cycle. The subjects are students of Social 2 grade XI Senior High School 1 Boyolali which is consisting 31 people. Source of data is derived from the teachers, students and the learning process. Data collection technique is conducted by interviewing, observing, testing, giving questionnaires and document analyzing. This research uses triangulation that consist of triangulation data or sources and triangulation methods.The result shows that the teacher?s and students? activities in learning process can be categorized as good which means the learning process in History class goes well. The achievement of learning activities in precycle is 66.92% increases to 75.73% in the first cycle and increases to 84.09% in the second cycle. The implementation of Group Investigation (GI) method by using documentary has improved learning achievement and historical awareness of Social 2 grade XI of Senior High School 1 Boyolali of precycle to the first cycle and from the first cycle to the second cycle.Based on the results of research finding and discussion, it can be concluded thatteaching history by applying Group Investigation (GI) learning method can improve learning achievement and the historical awareness of Social 2 grade XI of Senior High School 1 Boyolali.

Abstract

The objectives of research were: (1) to find out the relationship between historical comprehension with their awareness of history grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali, 2) to find out the relationship between perception of students about teaching skills of teacher to their awareness of history grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali, and 3) to find out the relationship between historical comprehension and perception of students about teaching skills of teacher to their awareness of history grade X of SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali.This research used the survey research method with correlational design. The population of this research was all student of X grades in SMA Negeri 1 Ngemplak Boyolali. The sample of this research consisted of 100 students out of total number as many as 270 students. The data of this research were gathered through test on the historical comprehension, questionnaire on the perception of students about teaching skills of teacher, and questionnaire on the awareness of history. The test on the instrument of test and questionnaire consisted of validity and reliability tests. The data were then analyzed by using the correlation analysis, multiple linear regression, and single linear regression analysis techniques.The conclusions of research were as: 1) There is a positive and significant correlation of historical comprehension with their awareness of history as indicated by the regression coefficient as much as 0,566 at the constant of 93,081 and the correlation coefficient as much as rhit 0,202 > rtab = 0,195 at the significance level of 5%. 2) There is a positive and significant correlation of perception of students about teaching skills of teacher to their awareness of history as indicated by the regression coefficient as much as 0,072 at the constant of 97,93 and the correlation coefficient as much as rhit 0,330 > rtab = 0,195 at the significance level of 5%. 3) There is not any positive and significant simultaneous correlation of the historical comprehension and perception of students about teaching skills of teacher to their awareness of history as signified by correlation coefficient as much as 0,2147, the regression coefficient of the historical comprehension  as much as 0,5390, the regression coefficient of the perception of students about teaching skills of teacher as much as 0,0504 at the constant of 88,6 and the determination coefficient as much as 0,0461 with the equation of multiple regression line of ? = 88,6 + 0,5390 X1 + 0,0504 X2 and the value of Fcount which is smaller than that of Ftab (2,3448 < 3,440) at the significance level of 5%.

Abstract

The Aims of this research are: 1) To analyze the relationship self-regulated learning with achievement of studying history students class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. 2) To analyze the relationship of the perception of students in the history teaching with achievement of studying history students class XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono. The result of regression analysis acquired the equality of regression line Y= 67,530 + 0,093X1 + 0,075X2. The equality indicated that the achievement of studying history was influenced by self-regulated learning and the perception of students in the history teaching. The conclusion were taken were: 1) Self- regulated learning related positively with the achievement of studying history students class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono, could be accepted. It based on double linier regression analysis ( test t ) known that t count > t table, that was 3,603 > 2,000 and score of significance < 0,05, that was 0,001 with relative contribution was 66% and effective one was 11, 02%. 2) The perception of students in the history teaching related positively with the achievement of studying history students class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono, could be accepted. It based on double linier regression analysis ( test t ) known that t count > t table, that was 2,157 > 2,000 and score of significance < 0,05, that was 0,034 with relative contribution was 34% and effective one was 5,6%. 3) Self- regulated learning and the perception of students in the history teaching related positively with the achievement of studying history students class XI IPS at SMA Negeri 1 Banyudono in togetherness, could be accepted. It based on double linier regression variant analysis ( test T ) known that T count > F table, that was 8,602 > 3,150 and score of significance was < 0,05, that was 0,000. The coefficient of determination ( R2 ) was 0,167 indicated that the extent of related of self-regulated learning and the perception of students in teaching history with the achievement of studying history was 16, 7%, whereas the remains were influenced by other variables. Abstract

This research was aimed to build social attitude and to increase students? learning result in grade XI Social II SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta by applying democratic value using learning model using Contextual Teaching Learning in History Learning.This study was a Class Action Research which held in two cycles. Every cycle consisted of action plan, action, observing, and reflecting. The subject of the research was 34 students of grade XII Social SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta. Data source was from the teacher, the students, and teaching-learning process. The technique of collecting data was using test, observation, interview, and documentation. Validity test used triangulation technique, which were triangulation data and triangulation method. The analysis of the data was using descriptive comparative technique. The research model was using spiral model (planning, acting, observing, and reflecting).The result of the research showed that the researcher as the teacher might be said that she could teach well in the teaching and learning process, so it could walk properly. The teacher?s teaching ability in the cycle 1 was 72.4% increased to 93.3% in the cycle II. Students? learning result could be categorized into a good level. It could be seen by the percentage of completeness of student learning outcomes in pre-action class passing grade until 41.2% increased to 64.7%. In addition, the second cycle had been also increasing; the class passing grade was in the rank of 88.2% from 34 students or 30 students. However, to the social attitude of the students in the learning process could be categorized into a very good condition.  It could be seen by the percentage of the questionnaire result of social attitude from all the students in the pre action class about 69.6% became 75.2% in the cycle I, then having increased again in cycle II about 90% from all the students in the class.Based on the result and the discussion of the research, it could be concluded that the implementation of democratic value using CTL model can build social attitude and learning result of the students grade XII Social 2 in SMA Al Islam 1 Surakarta.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to know: (1) historical description of Village Batik Kauman Surakarta, (2) potential of Village Batik Kauman as a source of learning social studies/history in the curriculum of 2013, (3) relevance of Village Batik Kauman with KI and KD History social studies.This study used a qualitative descriptive method that examines the events at the present time by generating descriptive data in the form of words written or spoken of certain persons or behaviors that can be observed by using certain measures. In this study used a single-rooted strategy case studies that target to be studied has been limited and determined, and focused on a single location has its own characteristics. Source of data used is the source of objects, places, events, informants, and documents. Data collected by observation, interviews, and document analysis. The sampling technique used was purposive and snowball sampling. This study, to search for the validity of the data used two techniques namely data triangulation triangulation and triangulation methods. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, the analysis process that moves between the three components which include data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion.Based on the results of this study concluded: (1) The history of Village Batik Kauman have close links with Keraton Kasunanan Hadiningrat Surakarta. Kauman stand together with the establishment of the Great Mosque Keraton as a religious center during the PB III. Kauman is the abdi dalem religious field and students. The wife of the abdi dalem were given the royal batik training continues cultivated until now. (2) Village Batik Kauman has potential as a source of social studies learning. Culture and ancient buildings in Kauman can be used as a source of learning, among others, the Great Mosque, Mosque Sesemen, ancient houses, batik skills, and multicultural society. (3) The relevance of Village Batik Kauman as a source of social lesson contained in the Basic Competence understand changes in Indonesian society during the pre post period, the Hindu-Buddhist, and Islamic period in the geographical aspects, economics, culture, education and politics .

Abstract

The purpose of conducting the research is to find out the cooperative model application in learning history based on cultural value for improving learning achievements and character values of the students in XI D Dancing class of SMK N 8 Surakarta. The research is a classroom action research or Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). The research is conducted within two cycles, in which every cycle consists of planning, course of action, observation, and reflection. The research subjects are 17 students of XI D Dance class of SMKN 8 Surakarta. The sources of data are taken from teachers, students, and librarian. Technique of collecting data done by observations, interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentations or recordings. While, for knowing the data validity, it uses data validation and method validation. In analyzing the data, it uses descriptive qualitative technique of analysis. Research procedure is the DDAER.The result is that the teacher is capable in carrying out the lesson plans and using the local culture values in the learning process so the learning process can run well. It can be seen from the increasing of the teacher?s and students? activity in learning process. Teacher uses cooperative model in which the local culture values are inserted within the learning materials when the implementation class action in progress. Therefore, the students can perceive the lesson that has been done. It has been proven that this kind of learning model can raise the students? learning achievements and characters values. It can be seen through the rising of the percentage of revenue from the first cycle to the second cycle. Based on the result of the research and discussion, it can be concluded that cooperative model in learning history due to the local culture can increase learning achievements and character values of the students in XI D Dance class of SMKN 8 Surakarta.

Abstract

Republic of Korea, known as South Korea is a country in East Asian which is located in south of Korea Peninsula. Republic of Korea borders on North Korea in north. Both united until 1948. It borders on Japan Ocean in the east, East Cina Ocean in the south, and Yellow Ocean in the west.In August 22th 1910, Japan occupied Korea based on Aneksasi Agreement. The crisis of the World War II porced Japan looked for the help from founding father of Korea. So that, Japan could occupy the Korea territory more Korea asked Japan to allow it to prepare the independence. The preparation was well done. So, in August 15th 1945 Korea was independent. The liberalism and communism divided Korea in 380 of north latitude. The interferences of both countries divided Korea. Abstract

The purpose of this research are: 1) To determine the relationship perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. 2) To determine the relationship of historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMAN 6 Surakarta. 3) To determine the relationship perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities and historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta.This research is descriptive quantitative research by drawing conclusions through statistical analysis. The population in this study were all students of class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. Samples taken as many as 83 by using simple random sampling technique. Necessary data obtained through a questionnaire. The questionnaire previously tested and tested for validity and reliability test. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis, t-test, F, R2 test and the relative contribution and effective contribution.The conclusion of this study were: 1) There is a significant and positive relationship in perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) note that tcount> ttable, 7.253> 1.664 and significance value 0.000<0.005 with the relative contribution of 77.71% and effective contribution 41.11%. 2) There is a significant and positive in historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. This is based on multiple linear regression analysis (t test) note that tcount> ttable, 3.055> 1.664 and significance value 0.003<0.005 with the relative contribution of 15.18% and the effective contribution of 8.03%. 3) There is a positive and significant in perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities and historical value?s comprehension along with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta. This is based on linear regression analysis (F test) known that F count> F table, is 44.973>3.960 and significance value 0.000<0.05. The coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.529 indicates that the magnitude of the relationship perception of participation in scout extracurricular activities and historical value?s comprehension with students? nationalism class X IPS SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta academic year 2015/2016 was 52.9%, while the rest influenced by other variables.
