Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran biologi dengan Guided Inquiry Model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi, kreativitas, motivasi berprestasi siswa, serta interaksinya terhadap prestasi belajar siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen dengan desain faktorial 2x2x2. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh  siswa kelas  XI IPA SMA Negeri 6 Madiun tahun pelajaran 2012-2013. Sampel diperoleh dengan teknik cluster random sampling terdiri dari 2 kelas XI A1 and XI A3. Pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes untuk prestasi belajar kognitif, psikomotor, dan mengukur kreativitas, serta angket untuk motivasi berprestasi dan prestasi belajar afektif. Data dianalisis menggunakan anava tiga jalan, berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan: 1) guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, 2) kreativitas memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik, 3) motivasi berprestasi memberikan pengaruh terhadap prestasi kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotorik, 4) terdapat interaksi antara guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi dengan kreativitas terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, tetapi tidak pada prestasi belajar  afektif dan psikomotorik, 5) tidak terdapat interaksi antara guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi dengan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar kognitif, afektif dan psikomotorik, 6) terdapat interaksi antara kreativitas dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar afektif dan psikomotorik, tetapi tidak pada prestasi belajar kognitif, 7) terdapat interaksi antara guided inquiry model menggunakan LKS terbimbing dan LKS bebas termodifikasi, dengan kreativitas dan motivasi berprestasi terhadap prestasi belajar afektif, tetapi tidak pada prestasi belajar kognitif dan psikomotorik. Kata kunci: inquiry, LKS, kreativitas, motivasi, peredaran darah

Abstract

Study on implementation of teachning practice guidance by using the appreciable model?s method has been carried out in oerder to enhance the teaching skill of teacher?s andidate in teaching the scientific subject. The model applied by the candidates during teaching was created by the supervisors. The study it self was carried out during the student?s practice of teaching in 3 junior high school, supervised by 3 lecturer and 3 senior teachers. The candidates were then asked to make the review toward that method and disscuss it with the supervisor. The results indicated that appreciable model?s method could be as alternative method used by the candidate an supervisor during the guidance of teacher?s candidate. It was showed by the raising of the candidate?s skill in making the teaching materials preparation, and also the teaching sill respectively. Abstract

Based on our observation to student and discussion with biology teacher of SMPN 27 Surakarta on April 15, 2010, known that there were complicated problems in Biology class VII-D. The core of those problems was most of the students? ability on higher order thinking was still lower, therefore, in this research we want to try to solve the problems by classroom action research (CAR). Some studies shown that applying syntax of inquiry and STAD model have many advantages to solve this problem. Hence, these models was applied in this school. The research was conducted during 7 months, start from April until November 2010. The research design was Classroom Actions Research by Kemis and Taggart model, which consist of four phases, i.e. planning of action, doing the action, observation, and reflection. The result of this research showed that applying syntax of integrated inquiry and STAD model can improve the student ability on higher order thinking at Biology classes of grade VII SMPN 27 Surakarta. Keyword: Inquiry, STAD, INSTAD, Higher Order Thinking

Abstract

AbstractThe aims of this research are to know the influence of (1) human reproduction understanding (2)parental cares, (3) sexes and (4) interaction ofeach factor toward the sexual behavior ofthe students.The method used in this research was descriptive-quantitative method by expost facto. Research wascarried out upon 3 rd grade students of SMA N 5 Surakarta as the population that sampled. The samplingtechnique used was random sampling technique which sampled l2O students. The data collected by usingevaluation (test) method, documentation and anquette and analyzed by using analyses of variance.Statistical results showed that (1) the influence of human reproduction understanding toward sexualbehavior is (Fo > Ft= 5.23 > 5.18), (2) parental cares toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 12.654 > 5.18), (3)sexes toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 70.712 > 5.18), (4) interaction between human reproductionunderstanding and parental cares toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 5.666 > 5.18), (5) interaction betweenhuman reproduction understanding and sexes toward sexual behavioris ( Fo > Ft = 7 .701 > 5.18), (6) interactionbetween parental cares and sexes toward sexual behavior is ( Fo > Ft = 10.295 > 5.18), (7) interaction among thethree factors toward sexual behavior is ( Fo> Ft = 5.364 > 5.18).Key Words: Sexual behavior, human reproduction understanding, parental cares, sexes

Abstract

ABSTRACT-Evolution in Sapindaceae have been running for a long time, as evidenced by the fossil of Sapindopsis encountered in the mid Cretaceous.  Based on its characteristics, the genus is thought to live in stressful environments.  Sapindaceae has the habitus of shrubs, trees, climbers, and the vine. Speciation in Sapindaceae can be found in genus Acer, while members of Sapindaceae which had hybridization can be found in genus Aesculus.   Keyword: evolution, speciation, hybridization, Sapindaceae

Abstract

Ikan Tor merupakan ikan air tawar lokal Indonesia dan termasuk ikan terancam punah. Upaya konservasi yang harus dilakukan salah satunya adalah penentuan kekerabatan berdasarkan pendekatan fenetik. Hal ini dikarenakan kedudukan taksonomi dan klasifikasi diantara genus Tor masih rancu. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah karakter meristrik, morfometrik, morfologi secara umum, dan karakter khusus penentu spesies. Karakter khusus penentu spesies diantara ikan genus Tor adalah keberadaan dan ukuran cuping pada bibir bawah. Sampel ikan Tor diambil dari Telaga Banyu Biru Pasuruan (nama lokal ikan Sengkaring dan Tambra), serta spesies acuan (Tor tambraides dari Kalimantan Barat, Tor duoronensis dari Padang, and Tor soro dari Sumatra Utara). Fenogram dibentuk berdasarkan metode UPGMA. Berdasarkan fenogram yang terbentuk diperoleh 3 kelompok kekerabatan dari yang terdekat hingga terjauh dan 2 kelompok apomorfi serta 4 kelompok automorfi. Percabangan pertama terdiri dari dua subklad yaitu Tor duoronensis dan Sengkaring memiliki kesamaan 100%, dan Tambra merupakan sister clad dari Tor duoronensis yang didukung dengan nilai similaritas 92,9%. Subklad kedua terdiri dari Tor Tambra dan Tor soro (Apomorfi B) dengan nilai similaritas 59%, sedangkan Tor tambraides memiliki kekerabatan terjauh dengan indeks kesamaan sebesar 45, 625%. Ikan Sengkaring dan Tambra menunjukkan pola pengelompokan yang dekat dengan Tor duoronensis berdasarkan tujuh karakter morfometrik pembeda utama. Ketujuh karakter pembeda utama tersebut adalah ukuran cuping, SL (panjang standart), MXBL (panjang sungut rahang atas), CPL (panjang batang ekor), PDL (panjang sebelum sirip dorsal), IW (jarak antar mata) dan SNL (panjang moncong). Hasil analisis morfometrik menunjukkan bahwa ikan Sengkaring dan Tambra mutlak bukan merupakan ikan Tor Tambraides maupun Tor soro dikarenakan ukuran tubuh yang berbeda secara signifikan. Keywords:     Tor, Kekerabatan, Fenetik, Morfologi, Karakter khusus, Meristrik, Konservasi

Abstract

The aims of this research were to know: (1) the effect of learning model (PBL, LC7E, integration with LC7E and PBL) towards learning outcomes; (2) the effect of the high and the low of self-regulation towards learning outcomes; (3) the effect of the high and the low creativity on learning outcomes; (4) the interaction between the learning model with the self-regulation towards learning outcomes; (5) the interaction between learning model with the creativity towards learning outcomes; (6) the interaction between self-regulation with creativity towards learning outcomes; (7) the interaction between learning model with self regulation and creativity towards learning outcomes. This research using experiment method with factorial design 3x2x2. The population of the research was all of the students in X Sains class SMA Negeri 2 Karanganyar for the first semester 2013/2014. The sample of the research was determined by cluster random sampling technique that consisted of three classes. The first experiment class was treated using PBL model, the second experiment class was treated using LC7E model, the third experiment class was treated using integration PBL and LC7E model. The test technique for collected data student?s achievement of the cognitive. The non-test technique by questionnaire for the ability self-regulation data, creativity, psychomotor aspects, affective aspects and observation sheets for affective and psychomotor aspects. The research hypothesis was analyzed with unequal cell number using software SPSS 18. The research result showed that: (1) There is effect between PBL model, LC7E model, integration of model PBL and LC7E towards learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, psychomotor; (2) there is effect between self-regulation towards cognitive; (3) there is effect between creativity towards the cognitive and affective; (4) no interaction between PBL model, LC7E model, integration of model PBL and LC7E,  with self-regulation on learning outcomes of cognitive, affective and psychomotor; (5) no interaction between PBL model, LC7E model, integration of PBL and LC7E model with creativity on learning outcomes of cognitive, affective and psychomotor; (6) no interaction between self-regulation with creativity on learning outcomes of cognitive, affective and psychomotor; (7) no interaction between PBL model, LC7E model, integration of PBL and LC7E model with self-regulation and creativity on learning outcomes of cognitive, affective, psychomotor. Keywords:     Problem Based Learning, Learning Cycle Model 7E, self-regulation, creativity

Abstract

ABSTRACT- The purpose of this research is to know the level of human capital in    Sub-Watershed Keduang related to conservation efforts in the watershed. Based on the questionnaires on human capital in the watershed Keduang, levels of achievement of   particular capital at Keduang can be measured. The survey shows that 34.48% farmers of sub Watershed Keduang is considered as low educated. The level of human capital is 40.70 with a standard deviation of 6:51. If the total score of the ideal criteria is 55 the   actual level of human capital is considered as moderate. Such degree of human capital is considered as sufficiently support efforts in watershed management at Keduang. Key Words : Human capital, watershed conservation
