Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of a science instrument analysis based on Facione's critical thinking theory. The method used in this study was qualitative descriptive. The research subject was a 5th grade science instrument of Angkasa Colomadu Elementary School. Data collected with document analysis and interview. The validity test used for the data was technical triangulation. This research using Miles and Huberman's data-analysis techniques of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusions. Analysis result shows that the science instrument went in less than the criteria with a 29.91% score. Based on each analysis of critical thinking indicator of Facione for the 5th grade science's final semester exam (PAS) of Angkasa Colomadu Elementary School, the dividend score on an interpretation indicator of 5.83% in the category has not met; Undermeeting category of 22.22% analysis indicator; 10.56% evaluation indicator with category not met; 25.01% inference indicator with less than met category; 15.83% explanation indicators in unmet categories; And a 100% self-regulation indicator with a very well-met category. Therefore, Facione's critical thinking indicator was inadequate. This study can be used as a reference for teachers, school, and the government to optimize the quality of assessment and students critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This paper attempts to describe the peer tutoring method in order to improve the ability of PAUD educators in making APE. with the application of peer tutoring methods. Furthermore, it is conveyed about the steps of the peer tutor method. This step is divided into two, namely preparation and implementation. The preparatory step contains the selection of peer tutors and technical explanations for implementation. The implementation stage includes the activity process to the evaluation. The essence of learning activities with the peer tutor method here is that the activities are carried out in small groups. Each group is guided by one peer tutor. If there is more than one group in the activity, then in the following activity a shift of peer tutors will be carried out to guide other groups. this is done because in one activity, each tutor will provide different material and so on. Thus, the more often you apply the method of learning with peer tutors as mentioned above, the ability of PAUD educators in making APE will increase.Keywords: PAUD Educator, Method, Peer Tutor

Abstract

The purposes of this research are describing the learning with Make a Match and Picture and Picture Methods and analyzing the improvement of the learning achievement about Family Tree and Kinship in Social Science with Make a Match and Picture and Picture Methods on the First Grade Students of Sukoharjo General Elementary School, First Semester of 2017/2018 Academic Year. This research is a Classroom Action Research (CAR), occurred on august 2017. The subjects of this research are 19 students; consist of 11 boys and 8 girls. The results of this research are the learning on the small groups and match the pair of the cards correctly and the learning achievement improved, from average on 59,47 and completeness on 26,31% into average on 83,15 and completeness on 94,73%.

Abstract

21st-century education is characterized by technological developments that are developing very rapidly, so daily learning must be in harmony with existing technology. Education in modern-day Indonesia requires innovation for more advanced learning. Therefore, Indonesia needs innovation to carry out learning that is following the nation's character, as well as a charactergemeinschaft (character builder) of students who will become the nation's next generation. The purpose of this study was to find out 21st-century educational innovations by applying design thinking to project-based learning in Indonesian education. The benefit of this research is that it can become a source of fresh scientific references among academics and become new reading material and literacy resources related to education. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with an emphasis on phenomenology. The method of data analysis in this study was carried out by descriptive analysis method, namely, the data obtained and then analyzed by descriptive analysis method. Indonesian education must include an innovation with the application of design thinking in project-based learning. Without an innovative “breakthrough”, Indonesian education cannot reach a point where the potential of students can be fully maximized.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of simple practicum activities on improving cognitive aspects of learning outcomes on participant educate class III SD Negeri Gegeran . This study uses a type of experimental quantitative research which uses the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The location of this research is SD Negeri Gegeran, Arjosari Pacitan District. Data collection techniques using pre-test and post-test . In this study calculate the validity and reliability of the test items. The analysis technique in this study uses normality test, linearity test, and homogeneity test. The hypothesis test used is a simple linear regression test. Based on the analysis of the data, the conclusions obtained are: (1) the normality test in the control class is 0.200 and the experimental class is 0.056, so that both are greater than 0.005 and the data is normally distributed, (2) the linearity test for the control class is 0.646 and the experimental class 0.444 so that it is greater than 0.05 and is linear (3) the effect of simple practicum activities on improving student learning outcomes is evidenced by the hypotheses obtained, namely 0.020 < 0.05 and the effect has a value of 78%.Keywords: Science, Simple Practicum, Learning Outcomes, Cognitive Aspects, Elementary Scholl

Abstract

This research was undertaken to analyze of critical thinking skills in finding the main idea of a nonfiction descriptive text of IVth grade students in SDN Bratan 1 No. 71 in the academic year of 2021/2022. Critical thinking skill emphasizes of ability to understanding the question, to make a reason based on fact to make a conclusion, using the information to problem solving to give a verification, and to evaluate their final result. Critical thinking skill are needed for students to dealing some real life problems in the 21th century. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. The subjects of this research were teachers and students of IV.Bth grade in SDN Bratan 1 No. 71 in academic year 2021/2022. The data collection techniques used include test, interviews, and documentation with data validation used triangulation technique. The data analysis used Miles-Huberman’s interactive analysis model. This data analysis consists of four main components such as data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results of this research shows that the analysis of critical thinking skill at SDN Bratan 1 No. 71 is in the critical enough criteria. The percentages of the analysis of critical thinking skill of IV.Bth grade in SDN Bratan 1 No. 71. This is the percantages for each indikator. The percentage at the focus obtained is 43%. And the indicator of reason obtained is 57%. And in the inference indikator obtained is 21,4%. And in the situation indicator obtained is 14,3%. And in the clarity indicator obtained is 14,3%. And in the overview indicator obtained is 42,8%. The most dominant indicator is focus, reason, and overview

Abstract

Analysis of online learning difficulties experienced by teachers at SD N Karangasem IV Surakarta. The purpose of this study is to describes the online learning difficulties experienced by teachers in the learning process which includes preparation and implementation. This research is a qualitative research with the type of qualitative research descriptive method. Sources of data and data come from teachers, totaling 6 teachers, namely teachers in grades I - VI. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, and document studies. Validity test technical triangulation used. Data analysis using interactive analysis techniques Milles and Huberman. The results showed that the difficulties experienced by online learning by teachers were the difficulties of teachers in the preparation stage of preparing lesson plans, while at the implementation stage there were several difficulties experienced by teachers, namely the selection of learning media, selection of methods, delivery of materials and evaluation of online learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the critical thinking ability of students on Diversity Document in VA Purwotomo Public Primary School No. 97. Critical thinking is important to deal with the competition of life in the 21st century. This qualitative study uses qualitative descriptive and phenomenological approaches. This study recommends further studies on critical thinking skills. The teachers and students of Purwotomo Public Elementary School No. 97 Class VA, a total of 12 students, were the subjects of the study. The researcher used observations, interviews and documents to collect the data. The data analysis technique of this study is based on the interactive analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. Check the validity of the data using the triangulation method. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that students' critical thinking ability in diverse material in the civics classroom VA Purwotomo Public Elementary School No. Visibility is average level. This study needs to supplement the knowledge for teachers, schools and other researchers in developing critical thinking skills, especially in civics learning, so that they can optimize their knowledge. knowledge and practice in everyday life.

Abstract

Research has been carried out that aims to describe the pedagogical competence of teachers in planning, implementing, and conducting online learning assessments of mathematics in the high class of SDI Unggulan Al Azhar Klaten. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. The sample used in this research is purposive sampling taken is high class teachers and school principals. Collecting data in this study is by observation, interviews, and documentation, as well as using the validity test of triangulation techniques and sources. Data analysis in this study used the interactive model of Miles, Huberman and Saldana. The results of this study, the pedagogic competence of high-grade mathematics teachers in planning, implementing, conducting assessments still tend to be lacking and not in accordance with Permendikbud number 14 of 2019 concerning the simplification of lesson plans from 13 components into 3 core components consisting of objectives, learning activities, and assessments. as well as other complementary components. The conclusion of this study, the pedagogic competence of high-grade mathematics teachers tend to have not met all the indicators of success in learning planning, learning implementation, learning assessment. The pedagogical competence skills of high-grade mathematics teachers in planning, implementing, and conducting assessments tend to be less appropriate and need to be further improved by conducting one of them continuous guidance on the development and preparation of learning and with training.

Abstract

Independent learning is a learning activity that is carried out independently to achieve goals and a good learning process. This is done by students so that they start themselves not to depend on others with a variety of materials. This type of research is a qualitative researcher with a case study method. The subjects in this study were the parents of class V Purwotomo No.97 Surakarta as many as 12 students to be studied. The data analysis used in this research is an interactive analysis technique using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of this study indicate that the independence of learning material diversity in Indonesia for fifth grade students at SDN Purwotomo during the online learning period can be implemented, and it can be concluded that students' learning independence is still less independent. In the five indicators of student learning independence, namely not depending on others, having a responsible attitude towards himself, being able to behave on his own initiative, cannot be said to be independent because it is 60.00%, while having learning independence. Confident and able to behave in a disciplined manner are said to be independent because they are already independent. reached 60.00%.
