Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve the understanding of the concept of Village Government Institutions through the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Make A Match model to Grade IV Students of SD Negeri 02 Tugu Jumantono in the Academic Year 2017/2018. This research is in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles, each cycle consisting of four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and fourth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Tugu Jumantono, totaling 21 students, consisting of 10 female students and 11 male students. Data collection techniques used are tests, observations, interviews, and documents. The data analysis technique used is an interactive analysis technique consisting of three components, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Cooperative Learning Type Make A Match model can improve the understanding of the concept of Village Government Institutions in fourth grade students of SD Negeri 02 Tugu Jumantono in the 2017/2018 Academic Year. Abstract

Abstract. the purpose of this research is increasing the VA Class of 2 Leteh Elementary School, Sub district of Rembang, Regency of Rembang, students’ learning motivation by using experiment method in natural science, theme of phenomenon in life, of the second Semester of the 2017/2018 Year Academic. The type of this research is a class action research in two cycles. The subjects of this research are the VA Class students of 2 Leteh Elementary School, Sub district of Rembang, Regency of Rembang, as much as 46 students. Technique of collecting data of this research is questioner. Technique of analyzing data of this research is qualitative descriptive. The result of this research showed that using experiment method increase the VAClass of 2 Leteh Elementary School, Sub district of Rembang, Regency of Rembang students’ learning motivation in natural science, theme of phenomenon in life. On Early Condition, the average of learning motivation is 34,25% as low category. Then on the First Cycle, the average of learning motivation increase on 57,08% as middle category and on the Second Cycle, the average of learning motivation increase on 77,63% as high category. Kata kunci: experimental method, learning motivation, science, elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to find out how the concept of applying character education with the habituation model at SDN Mluweh 01 and whether the application of character education with the habituation model can improve student discipline at SDN Mluweh 01. School Action Research (PTS) is conducted at SDN Mluweh 01 Ungaran Timur District Semarang Regency. The subjects in this PTS are Mluweh 01 Public Elementary School, Ungaran Timur District, Semarang Regency with 183 students divided into 6 classes. The results of this study are that the character education applied with the habituation model in Mluweh 01 Elementary School there are three values namely, religious values, grades discipline, and the value of caring for the environment. While the application of charactervalues through habituation in SDN Mluweh 01 is carried out through programmed activities, routine activities, and spontaneous activities. The application of character education with the habituation model can improve student discipline. This can be seen in the results of a research questionnaire about student discipline that has increased in each cycle. In the pre-cycle stage, student discipline only reached 50%. In the first cycle, the level of student discipline increased and was at 69%. While in the second cycle, the level of student discipline reached 91%. So it can be concluded that the application of character education with the habituation model can improve the discipline of students of SDN Mluweh 01.

Abstract

Abstract. The objectives to be achieved in this study are the objectives to be achieved in this study is to determine the efforts to improve the quality of learning for grade I teachers of SDN Segugus Khanthil, Borobudur District through In House Traning activities. The research subjects in this study were ten teachers. The main data were obtained from informants such as school principals and teachers. Data collection methods by interview, observation, and documentation methods.The results showed that in-house training activities with a discussion and interaction approach were able to improve the quality of learning for grade 1 teachers atSD Negeri Gugus Khanthil, Borobudur Magelang sub-district in the quality of learning in the 2019/2020 school year. In terms of quality before giving actions in the form of in-house training activities, the teacher's ability in learning quality competencies reached a percentage of 51.67%. After being given the action, it increased in cycle I by 66.25% and in cycle II increased to 85.83%. In terms of quantity before giving the action in the form of in-house training the number of teachers who were able to improve the quality of their learning reached a percentage of 40%. After being given the action, it increased in cycle I by 80% and in cycle II increased to 100.00%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyzing mathematical problem solving skills in fifth grade elementary school students. The research is descriptive research, using a qualitative approach. The technique of collecting data uses tests. The research subjects were fifth grade students of SD Negeri Danukusuman in the 2018/2019 academic year. The data analysis technique used is descriptive and content analysis. The results of research indicate that mathematical problem solving skills in the solid figure of fifth grade elementary school students were still low. In the indicators of problem comprehension skills, the percentage of skilled students is 62.5%. On the indicator of skills for problem solving, the percentage of skilled students is 21.88%. On the skill indicator carrying out the problem solving procedure, the percentage of skilled students is 0.09%. On the skill indicator, checking and drawing conclusions, the percentage of skilled students is 0.06%. The results of this research were preliminary studies for developing innovative learning models to improve problem solving skills.Keywords: problem solving skills, mathematics learning, solid figure, students, elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of writing this article is to describe: developing models and formulating rough forms of design models of inductive approaches to learning mathematics for elementary school (SD) teachers whose backgrounds are not from mathematics or mathematics education. The research partners are Mutiara Persada Elementary School teachers, Kasihan Subdistrict, Bantul Regency. The research approach is mixed qualitative and quantitative with the type of research and development. Data collection techniques for first year research are using:questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The development model used is the ADDIE model by Dick & Carry (1996). The results of the study, namely: (1) maximizing mathematical understanding needs to pay attention to Piaget's learning theory, (2) the mistakes made by the teacher are how to make the relationship between symbols and procedures and the availability of appropriate references, linking symbolic procedures with informal problem solving, and connecting between symbol system, (3) inductive message processing, i.e., it starts with facts or special events which are then related to the previous material (prerequisite material), conceptualization based on facts that are in accordance with reasoning and the results of empirical case development, and compilation of generalizations based on concepts concepts, and (4) the construction of a crude model of mathematics learning with an inductive approach, the stages of which are:decomposition of the problem; determination of prerequisite material;fixing the facts of the problem; motor, affective, and cognitive domain integration activities; reasoning process; evaluation of the reasoning process; empirical case development; concept formulation; and evaluation of learning.Keywords: Inductive Approach, Teacher's Ability, Mathematics Learning

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to improve nonfiction text writing skills by implementing a Circuit Learning Model. The Type of this research is Classroom Action Research with 2 cycles. The subject of this research were 24 fifth grade students of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Primary School during 2018/2019 academic year. Data collection in this research uses interviews, tests, observations, and documentation with triangulation and data analysis of content. Qualitative data analysis used Miles- Huberman interactive analysis model. While, quantitative data analysis are the result of nonfiction text writing skills. The pre-action cycle resulting in percentage of 4,2% in classically, continued with the first cycle with the percentage of 33,3% in classical and in the last cycle resulting in percentage of 95,5% classically. Based on the result obtained, it can be concluded that nonfiction text writing skills of Ta’mirul Islam Surakarta Primary School in the 2019/ 2020 academic year can be upgradedthrough the implementation of the Circuit Learning Model

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian adalah untuk melatih guru sekolah dasar untuk memiliki kompetensi Publikasi Ilmiah Pada Guru SD di Kota Surakarta. Selain untuk melatih guru, pengabdian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi guru dalam Publikasi Ilmiah Pada Guru SD di Kota Surakarta. Subjek dari layanan ini adalah seorang guru sekolah dasar di kota Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam layanan ini dimulai dengan Workshop, Praktek, dan Implementasi. Dalam melakukan pelatihan ini, para subyek diminta untuk mengerjakan tes terkait dengan penyusunan artikel dan Publikasi Ilmiah. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah pre-test dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa ada peningkatan dalam pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang penyusunan artikel ilmiah dan Publikasi Ilmiah.

Abstract

Abstract. Inevitably, entrepreneurs contribute significantly in the economic development of a state, due to its limit ed resources to provide welfare for its citizens. Entrepreneurs as agents of change require a set of personal characteristics to identify and pursue opportunities, to think creatively in developing new innovative solutions or approaches, and to possess fortitude to take risk when challenges and barriers arise in creating beneficial changes for society. Grounded in the same elements, the term of business entrepreneurs is now shifted to social Entrepreneurs, which aims at creating values and benefits that have significantly massive and sustainable impact. To achieve this, social entrepreneurship requires changes in education. Ideally, the characteristics of entrepreneurs should be introduced in the early stage of education. It is important to raise students’ willingness to adopt new ideas, to take initiatives, to solve problems, and develop empathy. For that reason, university plays significant roles to integrate the idea that students can be the agents of change by developing comprehensive standard of curriculum and methods of learning, and providing the opportunity to learn directly from the first hand.

Abstract. The purposes of this research are describing the using of Syndicate Group on the Mathematic learning about the Processing of Statistical Data on class of six from students of Gedangan Elementary School on the Second Semester 2019/2020 Year Academic and analyzing the using of Syndicate Group in improving learning results on the Mathematic learning about the Processing of Statistical Data on class of six from students of Gedangan Elementary School on the Second Semester 2019/2020 Year Academic. The place of this research is the six class of Gedangan Elementary School, Sub district of Rembang, Regency of Rembang. The conclusion of this research are 1) the using of Syndicate Group on the Mathematic learning about the processing of statistical data on six grade students of Gedangan Elementary School on the Second Semester 2019/2020 Year Academic are by formatting the syndicate freely and also standard-serially with getting difficult work sheet and 2) the using of Syndicate Group is improving the learning results on the Mathematic learning about the processing of statistical data on six grade students of Gedangan Elementary School on the Second Semester 2019/2020 Year Academic form unsatisfying category into satisfying category. Kata kunci: syndicate group, learning outcomes. mathematics, statistical data processing
