Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between critical thinking skills and Self Regulated Learning (SRL) with the digital literacy level of fifth grade elementary school students in Laweyan District. The research method used is quantitative. The sample for this research was 46 fifth grade students from 3 elementary schools in Laweyan District. The data collection techniques used are tests and scales. Data analysis uses prerequisite tests and hypothesis testing. The results of this research are that there is a simultaneous relationship between critical thinking and Self Regulated Learning (SRL) with the level of digital literacy which has a significance value of 0.000. The research explains that if critical thinking skills increase, SRL and also digital literacy levels will follow so that this research can be used as knowledge and reference for further research.

Abstract

This study aims to overcome the initial reading difficulties of grade II students of SDN Karangasem 4 Surakarta in the 2024/2025 academic year by using  letter and word card media. This study is a type of Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) which is carried out in two cycles, with two meetings in cycle I and one meeting cycle II. The sources of research data include the use of letter and word card media by teachers and aspects of students’ initial reading abilities. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, performance tests, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the use of letter and word card media can overcome students’ initial reading difficulties. The average reading ability at the first meeting of cycle I reached 73.8, at the second meeting of cycle I it reached 81.4, and in cycle II it increased to 84.5. This study concludes that the use of letter and word card media cand overcome the initial reading difficulties of grade II students of SDN Karangasem 4 Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstract. This research aims to analyze the relationship between scientific literacy abilities and critical thinking skills of grade 4 students at SDN Sambirejo Surakarta in the 2023/2024 academic year. This research is a correlational quantitative research. The data source for this research is grade 4 students at SDN Sambirejo. The sampling technique was carried out using a saturated sample, so that the sample for this research was all 28 class IV students at SDN Sambirejo. Data collection was carried out using cognitive and observation test questions. Instrument testing uses validity and reliability tests with SPSS 26.0. Data analysis consists of prerequisite analysis tests and hypothesis testing. The analysis prerequisite tests consist of normality tests and linearity tests. Hypothesis testing is carried out using simple correlation analysis. The results of this research show that scientific literacy abilities have a positive and significant relationship with students' creative thinking skills with a significance value based on the Spearman Rank correlation test < 5%, namely 0.003 and the correlation coefficient for scientific literacy abilities with creative thinking skills has a value of 0.548, which means it is in strong category because it is in the value range of 0.51-0.75.Kata kunci: Connection, Scientific Literacy, Creative Thinking

Abstract

This study aims to improve conceptual understanding of geguritan material for fifth grade students of SD Negeri 1 Kepyar by implementing the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach. Students' conceptual understanding ability is important to achieve learning objectives and improve the quality of learning. This study was conducted using a collaborative classroom action research (CAR) method. The results showed that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model with the Technological, Pedagogical, and Content Knowledge (TPACK) approach to geguritan material significantly improved students' conceptual understanding, with an increase in the average value from cycle I = 53.4 to cycle II = 71.9. The percentage of classical completeness also increased from 20% to 86.7%. This study contributes to the development of more innovative learning models and approaches, with the hope that the use of technology can improve students' conceptual understanding.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of socioeconomic status on students' learning motivation at SDN Banyuajuh 3 Kamal. The research employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. The sample consists of sixth-grade students from diverse economic backgrounds and IPAS subject teachers. Data collection techniques include observing students' engagement in learning activities, conducting semi-structured interviews with teachers and students, and analyzing relevant documents. Data validity is ensured through source and method triangulation. The collected data is analyzed using a descriptive qualitative technique, involving data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that students from lower economic backgrounds tend to be more passive in IPAS learning, particularly in exploratory activities such as experiments and class discussions. However, teaching strategies, peer support, and parental involvement also play significant roles in enhancing students' motivation. Teachers who implement project-based and exploratory learning methods can effectively increase student engagement, including those from disadvantaged backgrounds. Additionally, peer support and effective communication with parents have been proven to foster students' participation. This study recommends implementing more inclusive and collaborative teaching strategies to enhance students' learning motivation regardless of economic factors

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan Higher Order Thinking Skills pada peserta didik kelas III dalam pembelajaran Matematika. HOTS sangat penting untuk membantu peserta didik berpikir kritis, menganalisis masalah, dan menemukan solusi yang kompleks. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif Wordwall terhadap peningkatan HOTS peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi-experiment dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Sampel penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, dengan jumlah populasi sekaligus sampel sebanyak 46 peserta didik.  Data dikumpulkan melalui tes untuk mengukur HOTS sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan serta lembar observasi untuk memantau aktivitas peserta didik. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan regresi linier sederhana. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa Fhitung lebih besar dari Ftabel  (34,506 > 4,32) dengan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05, yang berarti terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan.  Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah penggunaan media pembelajaran interaktif Wordwall terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan HOTS peserta didik dalam pembelajaran Matematika kelas III di SD Negeri 6 Metro Barat Tahun Pelajaran 2024/2025. Dengan demikian, pemanfaatan teknologi dalam pembelajaran dapat menjadi strategi yang tepat untuk meningkatkan kualitas berpikir kritis peserta didik.

Abstract

The ability to think creatively is one of the abilities that needs to be improved in 21st century learning. However, in reality elementary school students' creative thinking is still low, including in Natural and Social Sciences lessons, Social Sciences sub-material. This is because the learning model used to teach social studies material is still monotonous and lecture-based. Based on this, the aim of this research is to determine the effect of role playing models on improving students' creative thinking abilities in Natural and Social Sciences subjects, Social Sciences sub-material. The type of research used in this research is a quasi-experimental model with a non-equivalent control group design, namely conducting a pretest and posttest in the experimental class and control class. The subjects in this research were 52 students of class IV elementary school consisting of 26 students of class IV A and 26 students of class IV B. The results of this research concluded that the increase in creative thinking abilities of students who received learning using the role playing model was better than that of students who receive conventional learning and there is an influence of the role playing model of 51% on students' creative thinking abilities in terms of the results of simple linear regression analysis.

Abstract

Abstract Classroom Action Research (CAR). Using the Kemmis Spiral and MC Taggart models, there are four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The goal was to foster curiosity through Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methods integrated with open-ended questions via a Google Form questionnaire. The study was conducted among 35 sixth-grade students at SDN Bima Cirebon.Students' mastery of Pancasila values averaged 87%, categorized as very strong. This indicates that most students understood the Pancasila material taught and related it to concrete situations in their daily lives. The dimension of mutual respect and upholding unity averaged 88%, reflecting students' habit of appreciating differences in perspective, background, and the diversity of their peers at school. This indicates that the principles of tolerance and the spirit of unity have been internalized and are visible in the patterns of social relations between school resident.The indicators of caring and mutual cooperation also reached an average of 88%, as evidenced by students willingness to help their peers, collaborate on group assignments .The average percentage of 90% with very strong criteria means that it shows that the majority of students in the school environment do not experience in the questionnaire for testing understanding of discipline and politeness.

Abstract

This study aims to: (1) determine students' understanding of the concept of performance assessment in Indonesian language learning, and (2) assess students' ability to develop performance assessment instruments in Indonesian language learning in elementary schools. This research is a descriptive study using a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were 80 students from the Elementary School Teacher Education program at FKIP UNS. Data collection techniques used were documents, tests, and questionnaires. The credibility of the data was ensured through triangulation. The data obtained were analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The study concluded that (1) the understanding of PGSD FKIP UNS students regarding the concept of performance assessment was very good, with 90% of students answering correctly and 10% answering less accurately, and (2) the students' ability to develop performance assessments at the planning stage was quite good, with an average score of 75.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar pendidikan Pancasila siswa kelas IV di SD Negeri 1 Metro Pusat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan LKPD terhadap hasil belajar siswa. Metode penelitian ini adalah desain quasi eksperimen. Populasi dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 87 siswa, sampel berjumlah 58 siswa. Penentuan sampel penelitian menggunakan non-probability sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes berupa lembar observasi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan rumus regresi linier sederhana dengan hasil Fhitung > Ftabel yaitu 32,425 > 4,20 dan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan model pembelajaran inkuiri berbantuan LKPD terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila kelas IV SD.
