Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of the study was to investigate the application of mind mapping models to improve reading comprehension skills of elementary school students. This research is Classroom Action Research with two cycles. The subjects of this research were students of the 3th students at SD Negeri Totosari Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year, totalling 30 students. This research uses data collection techniques in the form of interview, observation, field notes, tests, and documentation with data analysis of content validity and triangulation. This data was obtained from the pre-test and post-test results by applying the mind mapping learning model during the learning process. To conduct a statistical analysis of the study, using an assessment guideline adopted from one expert. The results show that the mind mapping learning model has a significant impact on improving reading comprehension skills of elementary school students. The findings of this study can provide a reference for teachers to apply mind mapping learning models into the learning process according to the material tobe developed.Keywords: Mind mapping,Reading chomprehensif , elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. The objective of the reserach is to describe how to apply the Guided Note Taking (GNT) learning model that can improve learning activeness in social learning for fourth grade students of Ngadipuro Elementary School in Blora Regency. The type of research is Classroom Action Research conducted in two cycles. The subjects of the research consisted of fourth grade teachers and all students of fourth grade totaling 21 students. Data collection techniques used tests, interviews, observations, and documentation. Source triangulation techniques anddata collection triangulation techniques used for data validity. Data analysis techniques used interactive analysis techniques with the stages are data reduction, presentation of research data, and drawing conclusions. As results, students' learning activeness increased in five indicators of the pre-action increasing in cycle I, and again increasing in cycle II. The five indicators of learning activeness in this study include paying attention and writing material, asking questions, expressing opinions or ideas, discussing classical problem solving, and presenting learning outcomes. Application of the GNT model can increase student learning outcomes marked by in classical completeness in pre-action by 61.90% increased in cycle 1 to 76.19%, and increased in cycle II to 85.71%. The conclusion of this research is the application of the GNT model can increase the learning activity of fourth grade students of NgadipurwoElementary School in social learning.

Abstract

Abstract. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatan hasil belajar matematika melalui model Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Berbantuan Media Video pada siswa kelas 4 di SDN Batu 2 Kecamatan Karang Tengah Kabupaten Demak  semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2018/2019. Rancangan penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan tes dan non tes. Instrumen tes berupa butir soal dalam bentuk pilihan ganda, dan instrumen non tes berupa lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah teknik statistik kuantitatif komparatif yaitu teknik persentase yaitu teknik statistik yang membandingkan hasil belajar tematik dari pra siklus, siklus I dan siklus  II. Hasil  penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa kelas 4 di SDN Batu 2 Kecamatan Karang Tengah Kabupaten Demak yang diupayakan melalui model  Problem Based Learning (Pbl) Berbantuan Media Video. Hal ini ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan hasil belajar berdasarkan ketuntasan yakni banyaknya siswa yang tuntas sebelum tindakan sebanyak 9 siswa (43% dari seluruh siswa). Setelah diberikan tindakan pada siklus I, jumlah siswa  yang tuntas belajar meningkat menjadi 15 siswa (71% dari seluruh siswa), dan pada siklus II, jumlah siswa yang tuntas menjadi  21 siswa (100%  dari seluruh siswa).

Abstract

Abstract. the purposes of this research are to increase and analyze the increasing of 2 Sambongrejo Elementary School teachers’ pedagogical competency in developing the indicators and evaluation instruments through clinical supervision on the First Semester of the 2019/2020 Year Academic. The type of this research is a School Action Research (SAR). This research is held on 2 Sambongrejo Elementary School, Sub district of Tunjungan, Regency of Blora. This research is going on the middle First Semester of the 2019/2020 Year Academic. The instruments of collecting data of this research are the sheets of observation, the sheets of questioner and camera application on the cell phone. Technique of analyzing data of this research is comparative description. The procedure of this research is using Cycle Model. The conclusion of this research is 2 Sambongrejo Elementary School teachers’ pedagogical competency in developing the indicators and evaluation instruments through clinical supervision on the First Semester of the 2019/2020 Year Academic increased from low category (D) become high category (B). On the Early Condition, pedagogical competency in developing the indicators and evaluation instruments included as low category (D). On the First Cycle, pedagogical competency in developing the indicators and evaluation instruments included as moderate category (C). On the Second Cycle, pedagogical competency in developing the indicators and evaluation instruments included as high category (B). Kata kunci: teacher competencies, instrument, supervision, elementary school

Abstract

Abstract. Teacher competency is one of the teacher quality standards. Achieving optimal learning outcomes and forming active, creative, innovative students who are able to think at a high level and solve problems requires creative and innovative teachers who always have the desire to improve and improve the quality of teaching and learning in class that is measured by questions oriented to HOTS . Subjects in this service consist of elementary school teachers in the administrative area of the city of Surakarta. The method used in this training is Workshop, Practice, and Implementation. Data collection techniques using test techniques. The analysistechnique used is pre test and post test. the implementation of workshops on the preparation of HOTs-based Questions can improve the ability of teachers to prepare HOTs-based Questions that will be used in the implementation of learning.

Abstract

Abstract. the general purposes of this research are practicing and analyzing the learning model of Gallery Walk. The specific purpose of this research is improving the class of six from students of 2 Nglangitan Elementary School Scientific result study about the Reproductions of Animals and Plants on the First Semester 2019/2020 Year Academic. This research is going on  the First Semester 2019/2020 Year Academic. The subjects of this research are 20 pupils;consist of 10 boys and 10 girls. The object of this research is the result study about the Reproductions of Animals and Plants. The results of this research are 1) the learning model of Gallery Walk is a learning group with different images media, 2) the learning model of Gallery Walk is focusing on observation to the other groups task result, consist of plot of observation,duration of observation and opportunity of observation, 3) the learning model of Gallery Walk has discussion and correction in equal, 4) the learning model of Gallery Walk is improving the results study optimally. On the Early Condition, the average is 63,75 and the completeness is 55%. On the First Cycle, the average is 73,75 and the completeness is 70%. On the Second Cycle, the average is 86,875 and the completeness is 90%.

Abstract

Tujuan dari pengabdian adalah untuk melatih guru sekolah dasar untuk memiliki kompetensi membuat Instrumen Evaluasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Pada Guru SD di Kota Surakarta. Selain untuk melatih guru, pengabdian ini juga bertujuan untuk menganalisis kompetensi guru dalam Instrumen Evaluasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Pada Guru SD di Kota Surakarta. Subjek dari layanan ini adalah seorang guru sekolah dasar di kota Surakarta. Metode yang digunakan dalam layanan ini dimulai dengan Workshop, Praktek, dan Implementasi. Dalam melakukan pelatihan ini, para subyek diminta untuk mengerjakan tes terkait dengan penyusunan Instrumen Evaluasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Pada Guru SD di Kota Surakarta. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah pre-test dan post-test. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah bahwa ada peningkatan dalam pengetahuan dan pemahaman guru tentang penyusunan Instrumen Evaluasi Pembelajaran Berbasis Teknologi Pada Guru SD di Kota Surakarta.

Abstract

Abstract. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) with research subjects as fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sawahan Juwiring Klaten in the academic year 2017/2018. Data collection methods used in this study are test, interview and observation methods. The collected data were analyzed by descriptive analysis. Based on data analysis, it can be concluded that: 1) Through the role playing method with cooperative learning approach, it can improve PKN learning activities to maintain the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sawahan Juwiring Klaten in the academic year 2017/2018. This is reflected in the average activity of cycle I reaching 57.35% and increasingto 76.4% in cycle II; 2) Through the role playing method with cooperative learning approach, it can increase PKN learning activities to maintain the integrity of the Unitary Republic of Indonesia in fifth grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sawahan Juwiring Klaten in the academic year 2017/2018. This can be shown by increasing: (1) The average value in the pre-study obtained an average class of 66 with 28.57% mastery learning, (2) in the first cycle obtained an average grade of 76.94 with mastery learning 71 , 4%, (3) and in the second cycle obtained an average grade of 83.69 with 85.7% mastery learning. This shows that the PKn learning outcomes of students reach the completeness target of> 85% with a KKM value of> 70.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is improving the skill of communicating the result of the discussion by applying numbered head together model. This Classroom Action Research consists of two cycles. The subjects of this research were 20-grade 4th elementary school students in Surakarta in the 2019/2020 academic year. The data collection techniques used interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using triangulation. The analysis of the data used the interactive analysis model of Miles and Huberman that consists of data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion verifying. Research data shows that the score of the skills of communicating the result of the discussion on the pre-cycle is 20,8%, in the first cycle is 41,6%, and the second cycle is 87,5%. Based on the result of the research, it can be concluded that the skill of communicating the result of the discussion on grade 4th elementary school students in the 2019/2020 academic year can be improved through the Numbered Head Together model.
