Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the description of student perceptions in learning and teaching English using the help of the internet,The population or subject of this study were all students of the English language education study program, the Teaching and Education Faculty of the University of Muhammadiyah Palopo. Samples are taken at random, unrestricted or unspecifiedthe number of respondents entered was only 35 students, the research questionnaire totaled 20 statements made in the form of a link and then sent to the whatsapp group chat, sample data collection for this study was by survey technique using Google form media, this study used quantitative descriptive, the instrument used was the Likert model scale and data analysis assisted by using the SPSS version 22 computer, the data results showed an average score for each questionnaire from 3,97 to 4,26 while the average score for the total parts of the questionnaires X1, X2 and Y that is equal to (31,91) , ( 28,40) and (20,03) And it is known that the results of the valid percentage data and the cumulative percentage of 35 respondents according to their perception are 100% strongly agree with the research questionnaire on "Students' perceptions in English teaching and learning by using internet-assisted", then it can be concluded that students have positive perceptions of the research questionnaire.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and improve the ability ofstudents directly about the factors that influence the early mobilization ofpostoperative cesarean mothers. This study uses a descriptive correlationalresearch method with the approach used is cross sectional. The number ofsamples of 30 respondents was taken using the Non Probability samplingmethod with accidental sampling technique. The results showed that therewas no relationship between pain and early mobilization with a P-value(0.784), there was no relationship between anxiety levels and earlymobilization with a P-value (0.445), there was a relationship betweenknowledge and early mobilization with a P-value (0.008). and there is arelationship between motivation and early mobilization with a P-value(0.001). Factors that influence early mobilization of postoperative sectiocaesarea mothers at the Rumah Sakit Ibu dan Anak Banda Aceh areinfluenced by several factors such as knowledge and motivation. From theresults of this study, it is hoped that it can be useful for postoperative sectiocaesarea mothers, for hospitals to be able to improve the evaluation of earlymobilization in postoperative sectio caesarea mothers from pain factors,anxiety levels, knowledge and motivation

Abstract

Integrated Pest Management Field School (IPM-FS) is an extension method thatis still being applied in Indonesia. IPM-FS is considered still relevant to beapplied in Indonesia. However, farmers still have obstacles that cause farmersnot to fully apply the knowledge obtained from the Integrated Pest Control FieldSchool. The purpose of this study was to examine and analyze the benefits andconstraints after implementing the IPM-FS in Panditan Village, LumbangDistrict. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Collecting data throughobservation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that farmersbenefited from the Integrated Pest Management Field School (IPM-FS), namelyincreasing farmer knowledge, changing farmer perceptions and behavior, andincreasing coffee productivity. The absence of a specific price differencebetween coffee with the application of IPM and non-IPM is an obstacle forfarmers so that farmers pick coffee carelessly.

Abstract

This research aimed to determine the relationship the relationship formal thinking skills of chemistry olympiad participants with problem solving skills the chemistry olympiad questions. The study population was all students from high school or MAN in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar province participating in the Olympiad. The data was collected using a test instrument. In addition, interviews were also used as supporting data in the study. Processing quantitative data used Spearman rank correlation coefficient, while qualitative in percentage form. The results of the analysis obtained rs value about 0,94. Check the table of values ​​r product moment with df of 14, at a significance level of 5% is obtained r table = 0,532, whereas the significance level of 1% is obtained r = 0,661 table. rs value is greater than the price r table, both at significance level of 5% (0,94 > 0,532), as well as the significant level of 1% (0,94 > 0,661). Thus, the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that the ability of formal influence Olympiad participants in solving problems.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how the duties and functions of the police in overcoming criminal acts of narcotics abuse in Bone Regency. How are the obstacles to overcoming and eradicating narcotics crimes in the jurisdiction of the Bone District Police. This research was conducted at the Bone Resort Police Office. The types of data are primary and secondary data, primary data obtained through direct interviews with competent respondents, in this case the Bone Police Investigator of the Narcotics Unit, as well as the perpetrators of the Crime of Narcotics Abuse in Bone Regency. Secondary data was obtained through literature from various books, legal regulations, documents and other written data which were considered related to this research. The results of the study indicate that (1) the duties and functions of the Police in overcoming criminal acts of narcotics abuse in Bone Regency have been carried out in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, namely the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2 of 2002 concerning the National Police of the Republic of Indonesia and Law No. 35 of 2009 concerning narcotics. (2) Barriers to overcoming and eradicating narcotics crime in the jurisdiction of the Bone District Police are in addition to the limited number of personnel in the Bone Resort Narcotics unit, as well as the lack of human resource capabilities possessed by the apparatus in the Information Technology (IT) field, so that it affects the making of files. cases and and collection of evidence. as well as the lack of funds for the police in conducting outreach to the community.

Abstract

High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) are competencies that are required for students to live in the 21st century. The Covid-19 pandemic makes learning to be done with the help of the media to avoid the spread of the Corona virus. Despite the Covid-19 pandemic. The achievements of HOTS are still being pursued in achieving quality education in the 21st century. This study aims to determine the HOTS achievement of the ibtidaiyah madrasah teacher education program (PGMI) students during the Covid-19 pandemic. The research design is in the form of a survey. The research subjects were all students of PGMI, State Islamic University Professor K.H. Saifuddin Zuhri in the fourth semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. A total of 32 test questions that have met valid and reliable qualifications were used to measure student HOTS. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the HOTS achievement of PGMI college students was still low. This research is important to do as a material for determining the best learning strategy in order to achieve better HOTS for PGMI college students

Abstract

This study aims at investigating the effect of youtube tutorials on mental computation competency among pre-service teachers. Mental computation might be viewed as a relatively new term among students and teachers. Therefore, introducing it to them need various methods and approaches. This study provided extra online material posted on youtube as a learning resource for pre-service teachers. The method used in this study was pre-experimental research with the type of one-group pretest-posttest design. The population of this study was Indonesian pre-service teachers and the sample was chosen by the technique of purposive sampling. The sample was from four universities in Indonesian, three public universities and one private university. The data were collected and analyzed both quantitatively and qualitatively. The quantitative approaches used in this study were the wilcoxon test and N-gain value. The result of the study showed that youtube tutorials have a significant impact on the improvement of pre-service teachers’ competency of mental computation.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan bentuk deiksis persona, waktu, tempat, sosial, dan wacana dalam novel Api Tauhid karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif, data dalam penelitian ini berupa kata-kata atau frasa yang terdapat dalam novel Api Tauhid karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy. Bedasarkan hasil penelitian maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa analisis dalam novel Api Tauhid karya Habiburrahman El Shirazy ditemukan deiksis yang muncul ada sebanyak 799 data, data ini terbagi menjadi lima bagian yaitu : Deiksis persona sebanyak 490 data, deiksis waktu sebanyak 140 data, deiksis ruang sebanyak 88 data, deiksis sosial sebanyak 52 data, deiksis wacana sebanyak 29 data. Kelima deiksis tersebut yang paling sering muncul ialah deiksis persona, dan yang sedikit kemunculannya deiksis wacana, kelima deiksis ini ialah suatu pembelajaran bahasa khususnya dalam ranah pragmatik

Abstract

This research is qualitative research. The objective of this research is to investigated model concept attainment by using Integrated reading toward students’ vocabulary mastery. The writer wanted to know how model concept attainment by using integrated reading can enrich students’ vocabulary mastery. In this research there are 15 sample at fifth semester of STKIP Muhammadiyah, Bogor. The data collecting technique used by the writer are observation, interview and documentation. The documentation attached while the students learn English using integrated book in the classroom. Then, the writer gave question in learning process after the students finished reading integrated book to find out the students’ vocabulary mastery is getting richer or not. Actually the result is positive, all students’ vocabulary is richer. After that, the writer gave interview, this interview did to investigated deeper about the students’ vocabulary mastery when model concept attainment by using integrated reading book in learning English. The result of this study can be concluded that the model concept attainment by using integrated book as learning media is very effective in enriching students’ vocabulary mastery. Furthermore, it can be alternative for the teacher to teach vocabulary mastery and can help the students to easier in learning English.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the differences in the improvement of mathematical reasoning abilities of students who received learning with genius learning strategies and students who received conventional learning at SMA Negeri 1 Runding, Subulussalam City. This study used a pre-test post-test control group design. The population in this study were class X students, which consisted of four classes and two classes were taken randomly to be the sample, namely class X2 as the experimental class and class X1 as the control class. The instrument used to obtain research data is in the form of a mathematical reasoning ability test. The statistical test used to analyze the data on increasing mathematical reasoning ability was the free sample t test. The results showed that the increase in the mathematical reasoning ability of students who received learning with the genius learning strategy was significantly better than students who received conventional learning.
