Abstract

In the era of globalization, the level of competition is getting higher so that it becomes a motivation for business people to be able to improve employee performance to be able to compete. Employee performance is the quality of employee work in completing the work that has been given by the company. Things that affect performance are the work environment and work discipline. The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of work environment and work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Grace Solutions. This research uses quantitative research methods with descriptive research types. The sampling technique uses the Non Probability Sampling method. The data collection technique in this research is the distribution of questionnaires with a sample of 132 respondents who are employees of PT. Grace Solutions. Data analysis with data quality test, classical assumption test, influence test and hypothesis testing. The results of the t test show that the work environment has no significant effect on employee performance and work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. And the results of the F test show that the work environment and work discipline simultaneously have a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

The development of the Indonesian economy can be demonstrated by the large number of people who invest in the capital market, whose share prices tend to fluctuate. The population in this study are manufacturing companies in the consumer goods sector listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2016-2020 period. the method in determining the sample used by the researcher is the purposive sampling method with several predetermined criteria, there are 33 companies for the 2016-2020 research period or five years. Hypothesis testing in this study used multiple linear regression analysis using th eapplication SPSS version 25as a test tool. Based on the results of simultaneous testing that liquidity and leverage variables have an effect on stock prices and partial results show that leverage has no significant effect on stock prices, while the liquidity variable has a significant effect on stock prices.

Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of taxpayer awareness and tax sanctions on taxpayer compliance at the Batam City SAMSAT. The population in this study amounted to 227,484 vehicles registered with the SAMSAT of Batam City. The sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling and is calculated using the Slovin formula, which is 100 respondents. The data used in this study is primary data, namely data obtained from questionnaires that have been filled out by respondents, while secondary data is data obtained from various existing sources and related agencies, such as journals, books and so on. The results of the research on the t-test show that the taxpayer awareness variable partially has a significant effect on taxpayer compliance, and the tax sanctions variable partially has a significant effect on taxpayer compliance. In the results of the coefficient of determination obtained the presentation of the independent variable to the dependent variable of 45.5% and the difference of 54.5% is influenced byother factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This research aims to find out how the influence of compensation and work motivation onemployee performance that occurs at PT Giken Precision Indonesia. PT Giken PrecisionIndonesia itself is a company engaged in manufacturing electronics.At PT Giken PrecisionIndonesia there are approximately 1967 employees who are divided into four departments,namely Hq, Assembly, PCB, and Molding, but the population in this study are employeesof one of the departments of PT Giken Precision Indonesia, namely the Assemblydepartment with a sample of 184 respondents. . This study uses quantitative methods withdescriptive research types and to analyze data using descriptive methods, determinationand multiple linear regression which were tested using a tool, namely SPSS (StatisticalProduct and Service Solution) version 25, data were collected through questionnaireswhich were then analyzed. Then the results obtained from the data analysis test show thatcompensation and work motivation have a significant positive effect on employeeperformance at PT Giken Precision Indonesia although there are other influences outsideof the research discussion, namely compensation and work motivation that can affectemployee performance

Abstract

In the current New Normal Era, marketing communication strategies can be a tool in maintaining the market for a business. Promotions resulting from the mobilization of marketing strategies can be an alternative way to continue to grow, social media is a way of implementing promotions. The formulation of the problem from the research is divided into 2, the first is how the marketing communication strategy is applied by PT Vitka Sehat Utama in the New Normal Era and the second is how the constraints of the implementation of the marketing communication strategy are. The purpose of this study is to find out what marketing communication strategies are applied to PT Vitka Sehat Utama in the New Normal Era. The type of research used in this research is qualitative research. Data collection techniques were carried out by observation, interviews, and documentation. To gain credibility in qualitative research, this study uses the triangulation method by examining the data that has been obtained. The subjects in this study amounted to 3 people (1 Manager and 2 Employees) selected through purposive sampling technique. Marketing communication strategy is one way to show competitive advantage. Marketing communication strategy can be seen as one of the bases for compiling a comprehensive corporate plan. The result of this research is that the marketing communication strategy approach used by PT Vitka Sehat Utama in the New Normal Era focuses on two social media, namely Instagram and WhatsApp, communication that is created verbally by making adjustments through the theory of marketing communication strategy SOSTAC Paul R. Smith which means that marketing communication strategies require a systematic planning in which they can develop plans taking into account objective conditions which furthermore require evaluation of examinations in order to realize a marketing communication strategy effective.

Abstract

Paguyuban Kepodang Mas, better known as a community group, that gathers based on the same ethnicity, namely Javanese ethnicity, is a community that was founded on April 25, 2010, based on ideas and agreements from people from Banyumas, Purbalingga, and surrounding areas who live and settle in Batam city. Paguyuban Kepodang Mas has two community goals, the first is to strengthen the ties of brotherhood among Purbalingga residents who live in the same area, in this study is Batam City and the second is to create and maintain unity and unity in-order-to create a more intimate sense of brotherhood. thorough. The purpose of this study was to find out how the intercultural communication strategy in the existence of the identity of the immigrants in Batam City in the Kepodang Mas Community took place. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method with the technique of observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The result of this research is that the communication strategy carried out by the Kepodang Mas Community is considered successful because it gets the attention of the public in carrying out its activities. There are four forms of communication strategies carried out by the Kepodang Mas Community, namely: (1) Indirect communication through social media Facebook, Whatsapp, and Youtube; (2) Interpersonal communication for fellow members through monthly meeting, lottery club, and visitting each member’s home; and (3) Public communication through art performances, annual gathering, and socialization

Abstract

In the era of today's level of business competition, we can even say that every company is trying to survive in the business world.This study aims to determine the effect of service quality and promotion on customer satisfaction at PT Gunung Kawi. PT Gunung Kawi is a company engaged in distributors located in Batam, Riau Islands. The tool used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis with a total of 129 respondents and using SPSS as a tool in managing the data obtained. The results of this study are the Service Quality variable (X1) has a positive and significant effect on Customer Satisfaction (Y), and the Promotion variable (X2) has a significant influence on Customer Satisfaction (Y) and the Service Quality variable (X1) and Promotion (X2) has a significant impact. simultaneously has a positive and significant impact on customer satisfaction (Y) at PT Gunung Kawi in batam city.

Abstract

In general, banking companies always improves its companies performance to make it better so that every investors will not hesitate to invest in the company, which of course will affect the companies stock price. An investor who wants to invest must have a mature strategy and knowledge so that the investment can be profitable, such as analyzing company financial statements using several commonly used financial ratios. This research aims to analyze the effect of return on equity, earning per share and debt to equity ratio on stock prices in various banking companies listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange. The population in this study consisted of 46 companies and the study used techniques and samples in the form of purposive sampling and showed that the samples that could be used consisted of 39 companies multiplied by a period of 5 years. The results show that partially return on equity, earnings per share and debt to equity ratio have a negative and significant effect on stock prices. The F test states that simultaneously return on assets, loan to deposit ratio and debt to asset ratio return on equity, earnings per share and debt to equity ratio have a significant effect on stock prices. Abstract

Human resources are the most significant asset in achieving the goals of an organization,because they have an important role in every organizational activity. Without the role of humans, activities in organizations cannot run properly. In this case, it shows that human resources are the main key that should be thought of. To determine the effect of leadership style, employee performance, on employee performance and the effect of leadership style and work discipline together on employee performance at the Lubuk Baja District Office, Batam City. The research method uses associative quantitative research, with data analysis techniques validity test, reliability test, normality test, multicollinearity test, descriptiveanalysis, multiple linear regression analysis, coefficient of determination (r2), t test (alone), f test together). The outcomes showed that there was an influence of leadership style, work discipline on the performance of the employees of the Lubuk Baja District Office. The conclusion shows that the influence of leadership style on employee performance is 18.9%. And the effect of work discipline on employee performance is 55.5%. And the influence of leadership style and work discipline on performance is 25.6% Keywords: Leadership Style, Work Discipline, Employee Performance
