Abstract

The more organized human trafficking crimes get, the more difficult it is for the governmentto protect victims since crimes become global, structured, and systematic. This instancehighlights the importance of conducting further research into the protection of victims fromthe crime of human trafficking. The reality that incidents of human trafficking are rising andcausing many victims to suffer in many ways, requiring legal protection for all suffering andloss suffered as a result of the illegal act of human trafficking. In this instance, the victim hasthe right to reparation, which is the duty of the trafficker. This research attempts to clarify thelegal protection of victims of human trafficking, as well as to provide feedback andsuggestions to all parties concerned. It employs normative juridical research methodologiesto investigate legal materials and concepts concerning victims' rights to compensation. Thefindings indicate that Law No. 21 of 2007 on the Abolition of the Crime of Human Traffickinggives additional assurances and legal clarity regarding the legal protection of victims' rights

Abstract

Various initiatives were carried out by the company to boost product sales to meetconsumer demand. When a person recognizes a need in general and wants inparticular, the buying process occurs. The difference between the desired state andthe existing condition begins to register in the person's consciousness. Becauseeveryone has different points of reference and attitudes towards goods, one's buyingbehavior can be said to be unique. Brand Image, Product Quality and Product Designare existing factors that can influence purchasing decisions. The sampling techniqueuses simple random sampling. For data collection purposes, the researcherdistributed questionnaires, which contained a list of questions that had to beanswered by the participants. The method used in the findings contained in this studyis a quantitative-based research by conducting multiple linear analysis. The results ofresearch based on a study will certainly be able to prove that brand image, productquality and product design have a significant effect on purchasing decisions for LuwakWhite Coffee in Batam City.

Abstract

Many cases of loss of company goods are no longer new to security forces such as security guards. Starting from a loss with a relatively low amount of loss to a loss with a relatively high amount of loss. Based on the description of the background that the author has described in CHAPTER I, the purpose of the research is to find out the responsibilities carried out by security guards at PT. Putra Tidar is mighty in resolving the loss of goods that occurred at a third company, namely Nagoya Hil2. What witnesses did Nagoya hil Mall to the loss of company The research method that the author uses in this type of research is empirical juridical. The nature of the research in this paper is descriptive research, which describes the problems that occur in the field in written form. The results of the research that will be described or described are the results of the first, How the Responsibilities of PT. Putra tidar mighty in solving problems of lost goods that occur in third party companies; second, What the sanctions are given by third parties for negligence by security guards on reports of lost goods at third party companies.

Abstract

In conducting public services, there are often problems such as long queues and long waiting times. Many people complained about the offline service due to time constraints and the tight schedules they have. In order to simplify and accelerate the process of making population documents, the Population and Civil Registration Office (Disdukcapil) together with the Communication and Informatics Office (Kominfo) of Batam City created the Electronic Population Service Application (LAKSE). The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of Electronic Population Service Application (LAKSE) which focuses on ID card reprinting in Batam City. The type of research method used is descriptive qualitative. The result of the research shows that the service of making Identity Card (KTP) in Batam City is still done manually, and for now the LAKSE application only allows society to do reprint service of KTP that is lost or damaged and this application has not been widely spread in society and also experienced technical issues such as lack of understanding in operating it and error problems in the LAKSE application which caused delays in the process of services provided. Abstract

This study aims to determine the factors that influence motor vehicle tax compliance in Batam City. This research consists the variables of Taxpayer Understanding (X1), Taxpayer Awareness (X2), Service Quality (X3), Tax Sanctions (X4) on Taxpayer Compliance (Y). This study uses quantitative data types, while the data source uses primary data with data collection techniques is by distributing questionnaires. The data processing technique used was data processing with SPSS software version 25. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that partially the variables of Taxpayer Understanding (X1), Taxpayer Awareness (X2), Service Quality (X3) and Tax Sanctions (X4) show a significant effect on Taxpayer Compliance (Y). But together the variables of understanding of taxpayers (X1), awareness of taxpayers (X2), quality of service (X3), tax penalties (X4) show an effect on taxpayer compliance (Y). The coefficient of determination of 69.2% indicates that the variable Taxpayer Understanding (X1), Taxpayer Awareness (X2), Service Quality (X3), Tax Sanctions (X4) has an effect of 69.2% on Taxpayer Compliance (Y) and the remaining 30.8% is influenced by other variables that were not examined in this study.

Abstract

Tourism is an important economic sector for Indonesia because it provides a large foreign exchange for the country. The hotel is an object in the tourism sector, therefore hotel management must carry out cooperation with other supporters so that guests can recognize it. The hospitality business has become an industry that continues to grow as well as the rapid transformation of the Riau Archipelago from the manufacturing industry to the tourism industry. In order to maintain its business in competition, the management of L Hotel Batam must improve its company's ability to remain competitive, one of the ways is by paying attention to the factors that influence the visitor's decision to visit. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of innovation and attractiveness on the decision to visit The L Hotel Entertainment. This research was conducted using quantitative techniques. The research sample used 306 respondents, namely visitors to the L Hotel for the period March 2023 who were over 17 years old. Questionnaires are used as data collection techniques. The conclusion of this research is that the innovation and attractiveness variables influence the decision to visit with the acquisition of sig. 0.00 < 0.05. In addition, innovation and attractiveness influence the decision to visit by 40.9% which is found from the results of the coefficient of determination test. Based on the results of hypothesis testing, it was found that innovation and attractiveness partially and simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on the decision to visit The L Hotel Entertainment.

Abstract

One of the keys to the success of an organization is intrinsically related to high-performing people in the organization. In accordance with this way, employees are guided to improve their performance. A quality workforce guarantees optimal work results in accordance with work goals, employees who work with the desire to fulfill their daily needs and other supporting needs. This research is aimed at PT Citra Tubindo Tbk Batam, the data collection method is through a questionnaire with a sample of 125 respondents. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression. From the test results, the t count of the motivational variable X1 is 3,824, which is greater than the t table (1,979) or the significance value of the motivational variable is 0,000, which is less than 0.05, so the hypothesis is accepted.Keywords: : employee performance: motivation, spirit at work

Abstract

Sexual exploitation is currently a profitable global business. This business is referred to as sex trafficking onan international scale. Women and children are forced into sex slavery by being sold, kidnapped, tortured, orraped whose main goal is to gain huge profits. Speaking in the context of decency, there are many thingsthat influence children to be easily exploited as sex workers, such as social media, the communityenvironment, and their own family environment. Social media is a tool where exploitation cases can occur. Inlaw enforcement (criminal) the police are the body that really determines the process of settling a criminalcase. This can be seen in the criminal justice system, where the police are the first agency to handle criminalcases. The authority given will result in a settlement or screening of violations of the law. From the results ofresearch carried out preventively in the form of prevention such as outreach to elements of society byworking with related agencies, then monitoring several public facilities in Batam City and in handling policecases from each region, especially the Barelang Police call for cooperation from various parties to preventand arrest suspects

Abstract

The research was conducted to see the influence exerted on employee performance by work discipline and workloyalty at PT. Satria Global Persada. the method in this study used quantitative methods with the SPSS version27 tool in associative (casual) form by distributing questionnaires to obtain data. the population in this study areall employees who work at PT. Satria Global Persada with a sample of 100 respondents. testing the quality ofthe data using the validates test and reliability test, testing the classical assumptions using the normality test,multicollinearity test and heteroscedasticity test and the influence test using multiple linear regression analysisand analysis of the coefficient of determination (R2). then to test the hypothesis using the t test and f test. Theresults of this study indicate that work discipline and work loyalty have an effect of 55.8% on employeeperformance, while the remaining 44.2% are influenced by other variables outside of this study

Abstract

@Batamtourism_Official is an account based in Batam City and managed by the Batam CityCulture and Tourism Office. This account presents tourism content that focuses on touristdestinations around the Batam area, which have a lot of tourism potential, as a space todescribe the state of tourism in the Batam City area. The purpose of this research is to findout the extent of tourism awareness among Instagram @Batamtourism_official contentfollowers. This study also uses the new media theory from Pierre Levy as a support forobserving interactions between followers and these accounts to determine the level oftourism awareness of their followers. This account often uploads various publicationsregarding tourist attractions and events organized by local governments and localcommunities. The content uploaded by this account is an important factor in increasingtourism awareness for followers. Such content is designed to convince and persuade peopleto take actions that benefit certain parties in the travel industry. With technology andinformation that is easily accessible, the need for tourist information is more fulfilled for users,and this is one of the benefits of the content provided by @Batamtourism_Official inincreasing tourism awareness for followers
