Abstract

As a result of the COVID-19 virus pandemic that occurred in the world including Indonesia, all outdoor activities were reduced and also required to comply with health protocols, such as maintaining distance, wearing masks and always washing hands. This huge impact resulted in activities such as schools, tourist attractions, places of worship while carrying out activities boldly. After the number of positive patients decreased, the GBI TABGHA Church, Batu Aji branch, carried out worship activities attractively, but the congregation that wanted to worship was limited. At this time, Android is a very complex technology because it uses open source as a project basis, making it the most widely used smartphone operating system at the moment. The support for the Flutter or Framework software is an application that can be run on the Android, iOS operating systems, and can be used to run WEB, there is also Android Studio which is software developed by Google. Android Studio is an Android programming IDE that replaces the previous one, Eclipse, and Xampp is a software or computer application that is widely used by college students and students because Xampp is web-based software that is used to view web design results before they are made online using web hosting that is sold. on the market. In this study the testing method used is Black Box Testing or known as functional testing because software testing is used without having to know the code structure or internal program. The resulting application is a prayer seat reservation application using Android-based Flutter. The use of this technology makes it easier for the congregation to make reservations for worship seats online using a smartphone.

Abstract

In the era of technological and industrial development, the use of information technology developments is used in various ways including decision making within an organization or company. This research was conducted at a rubber production company in Batam City, namely PT. Valeo, the problem experienced by PT's production process is that there are many short molds in rubber production, so fuzzy logic is used regarding factors that must be maximized in the rubber production process so that the number of short molds produced is reduced. The method used is an analytical hierarchy process and professional application assistance, namely expert choice, with the aim or goal of improving the quality of rubber production at PT. Valeo, divided into 4 (four criteria) influencing factors, namely the operator does not follow the standards of chemical goods and dimensions with a criterion weight of 0.325, engine pressure with a criterion weight of 0.194, engine temperature with a criterion weight of 0.124, and chemical damage with a criterion weight of 0.356. The total criterion inconsistency value is 0.00137. The next level is the determination of solutions, there are 3 (three) solutions, namely operators with an alternative solution ranking of 0.418, machines with an alternative solution ranking of 0.182, and basic materials with an alternative solution ranking of 0.437. The results of testing using expert choice 11 software are that the solution factor that must be maximized is the basic material for making rubber to reduce shortmold with an alternative solution value of 42.5%, followed by operators 40.6% and machines 16.9%.

Abstract

Along with technological advances and increasingly fierce business competition, manufacturers are competing to produce quality products. The emergence of small and large industries, both private and state, will advance the nation alot. Only companies that are highly competitive can survive by prioritizing quality improvement, increasing productivity, increasing efficiency, and involving employees in solving company problems. Recognizing the instability of the rejection rate and based on historical data it still often exceeds predetermined standards, because of that it is important for customers to evaluate the quality of products produced by the company, so an analysis of product quality is needed in the company to find a solution on how to reduce the rejection rate and reduce waste. production process using the Six Sigma DMAIC method with a fishbone diagram approach. The company sets a target of 3.5% defects from the total of each production every month, but from the results obtained for each production there are still some that exceed 3.5%. the large number of defects produced in the assembly process, especially in the printer assembly section, as well as the efforts made by the company to prevent this from happening are still not optimal. which has been explained in the previous data, the maximum tolerance limit for defects is 3.5% every month of the total production. Therefore, created an assembly tool (jig) that will be used for the assembly process to decrease the reject percentage.

Abstract

This study discusses the problem of processing spare parts data that is not in accordance with the actual conditions that occur in the production environment of PT JMS Batam. The spare parts recording system is still carried out with a manual recording method that requires each employee to write by hand. Various spare parts name writing techniques cause a non-standard bookkeeping system and confuse admins in recapitulation of bookkeeping. The incompatibility of the recapitulation results with the actual total number of existing spare parts creates a domino effect causing the process of replacing spare parts in various activities of the technical-4 department to be not optimal. By using a database-integrated application, each spare part that will be used first is registered by scanning the barcode owned by each spare part. From the results of the trial by changing the manual recording method to the computerized recording method, it was concluded that the computerized recording system has better performance because it is able to identify deviations of 29% compared to the manual recording system.
