Abstract

The purpose of this study was to prove the existence of the positive effect of application search solve create and share learning model on the mastery of basic competency of analyze the state strategy in the fight threats to establish national integration in a frame of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in the 11th graders of SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the School Year of 2015/2016. This research was conducted using quantitative methods experiment with models Posttest Only Control Design. The population of research was the 11th graders of SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the School Year of 2015/2016. The sample selected was 11th of IPS 4 grade served as experiment class and 11th IPS 3 as control class. The sampling technique using cluster random sampling. Techniques of collecting data used were observation for X variable and test for Y variable.Technique of analyzing data used was one-predictor regression analysis. The results showed that there there was a positive effect of application search solve create and share learning model (X) on the mastery of basic competency of analyze the state strategy in the fight threats to establish national integration in a frame of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika (Y) in the 11th graders of SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the school year of 2015/2016 as evidenced by the results the correlation coefficient where rhitung> rtabel or 0.607> 0.361 means that Ho is rejected, Ha accepted. The magnitude of the effect of variable X to Y is shown by the calculation of the contribution of determination of 31.4%. The regression equation equation = 21.785 + 1.316 X. The conclusion of this study that there was a positive effect application search solve create and share learning model on the mastery of basic competency of analyze the state strategy in the fight threats to establish national integration in a frame of Bhinneka Tunggal Ika in the 11th graders of SMA Negeri 6 Surakarta in the school year of 2015/2016

Abstract

The objectives of research was to find out: 1) how the analysis of objective essay test item organized by Pancasila and Civic Education teacher is in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta, and 2) the factors causing the student?s difficulty in solving the objective essay test item in Pancasila and Civic Education subject in SMA Batik 2 Surakarta. This study was a qualitative research approach. Data source derived from informant, place, event, and document. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, document analysis and Focus Group Discussion. Data validation was carried out using data and method triangulations. The results of research are as follows: 1) The analysis on objective essay test item organized by teacher included: a) in material aspect, the border of question and answer to be measured in essay test had not showed clear border yet, b) in constructing aspect, the essay test developed by teacher still had weaknesses such as no clear instruction on how to work on the intended test item, c) in language aspect, essay item developed by teacher had not used simple language, meaning that there was still too-long sentence less understandable to the students. 2) The factors causing the students? difficulty in solving the essay test included: Internal factor: a) in cognitive aspect: low cognitive ability of students, b) in affective aspect: some students still did not care with the learning, slept in the classroom, were preoccupied with themselves, and did not pay attention to teacher during the learning process, c) in psychomotor aspect: less active participation of students in discussion learning. External factor: a) Infrastructure factor: inadequate learning source availability facilitated by school for the students in the form of Student Worksheet (LKS) or other exercise book. b) Teacher factor: Pancasila and Civic Education teacher?s limited intensity in applying the assessment in the form essay question.

Abstract

Street children are particularly vulnerable to the dangers of drugs. The number of street children in Sukoharjo move the hearts of volunteers of P4GN team Sukoharjo in the implementation soft rehabilitation of street children through school for street children. Sukoharjo P4GN team formed for cases of drug abuse had gone into all districts in Indonesia. This research aims to determine the participation of P4GN team Sukoharjo in fulfilling the education?s rights of street children, street children school implementation process, constraints encountered, and the impacts after implementation of that program. This research uses descriptive qualitative research. Selection of informants is determined by purposive sampling technique. Sources of data obtained from informants and a review of documents, and also from techniques of data collection is done through interview, observation, and documentation study. To test the validity of the data, using data triangulation technique. The technique of data analysis using interactive analysis, which is done in three stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui  (1) para dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto mengembangkan nilai-nilai demokrasi kepada para mahasiswanya; (2) kendala para dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai demokrasi kepada para mahasiswanya; (3) solusi para dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto menghadapi kendala untuk mengembangkan nilai-nilai demokrasi kepada para mahasiswanya. Merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dengan wawancara mendalam. Informannya seluruh dosen PKn di Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwwokerto. analisis data yaitu data reduction, data display, data conclusion/ drawing/ verification. Untuk mengembangkan sikap kebebasan berkelompok pada diri mahasiswa dapat dipraktekkan melalui diskusi. Sebagai contoh ketika di dalam kelas mahasiswa diberi kebebasan untuk memilih siapa saja anggota yang menjadi kelompoknya ketika berdiskusi. Kendala yang dihadapi oleh dosen dalam pengembangan sikap-sikap demokratis mahasiswa adalah lingkungan tidak memberikan contoh yang baik, terjadi ketidaksesuaian antara apa yang diucapkan oleh dosen dengan yang ada lingkungan. Solusi yang dilakukan oleh dosen dalam menghadapi kendala tersebut yaitu menerapkan pendidikan demokrasi kepada mahasiswa khususnya melalui pembelajaran di dalam kelas dan dosen sebagai model yang dicontoh oleh mahasiswa harus memberikan teladan yang baik.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate whether or not there is a correlation between the variable of the understanding of Pancasila (Indonesian Philosophy) Ideology and that of the Nationalism Attitude (A Study on the member of  Youths, Sports, and Education & Art Field of Surakarta Community Association).The result of research shows that there is a correlation between the understanding of Pancasila (Indonesian Philosophy) Ideology and the Nationalism Attitude (A Study on the member of  Youths, Sports, and Education & Art Field of Surakarta Community Association) as indicated by the result of the analysis in which the value of rxy  was 0.416. It was consulted to the value of rtable with N=79 at the significance level = 0.05, which resulted in the value of rtable = 0.220. Because the value of rtable= 0.416 was greater than 0.220, Ha was verified, but Ho was not verified. Thus, there is there is a correlation between the understanding of Pancasila (Indonesian Philosophy) Ideology and the Nationalism Attitude. The result of the correlation coefficient significance based on the t test shows that the value of tcount was 4.010. The result was consulted to the value of ttable = 1.991at the significance level of 5%. Because the value of tcount = 4.010 was greater than that of ttable= 1.991, the correlation coefficient was significant, meaning that H0 was not verified, but Ha was verified. Thus, there was a correlation between the understanding of Pancasila (Indonesian Philosophy) Ideology and the Nationalism Attitude.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan dan wawasan pada guru-guru  dalam membuat dan mengemas rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) PKn sesuai dengan kurikulum tahun 2013. Program ini merupakan program yang bersifat terminal dalam rangka peningkatan wawasan dan keterampilan guru-guru PKn yang mengajar di SMP dan SMA di Kecamaan Kintamani dalam memahami strategi penyusunan RPP berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 untuk mata pelajaran  dengan sistim jemput bola. Untuk kepentingan pencapaian tujuan program ini, maka program pengabdian masyarakat ini akan dilkukan dengan metode  Diklat dan pendampingan/ supervisi kelas.Setelah diadakan pelatihan, para guru PKn yang mengajar di SMP dan SMA di Kecamatan Kintamani memiliki keterampilan yang memadai dalam membuat dan mengemas rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat setelah dilakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan, para guru menyerahkan rancangan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran kepada tim pakar untuk dikoreksi. Selain itu, para guru menjadi lebih antosias dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran setelah memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran  sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013, karena mereka telah memiliki pedoman dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu, hendaknya dilakukan pelatihan secara berkesinambungan bagi para guru agar memiliki keterampilan yang memadai dalam membuat dan mengemas rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran juga dijadikan sebagai bahan refleksi oleh para guru untuk menilai tingkat keberhasilan peroses pembelajarannya.

Abstract

The purpose of this study are : (1) to describe the strategies of Pancasila and Civic Education  teachers on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications; (2) to explain the effects of Pancasila and Civic Education Teachers? strategies toward the regular students and the slow learners; (3) to find the enabling and inhibiting factors of the Pancasila and Civic Education Teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications. This study is the descriptive qualitative research. The research data was obtained from the informants, places, and the documents. Purposive sampling was used for the sampling technique. Interviews, observations, and the documents analysis were used to collect the data. The data validity used the data and method triangulations. To analyze the data, an interactive analysis model was used. Based on the research findings, it can be concluded : (1) Pancasila and Civic Education  teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications as follow : a) making the teaching planning for regular and special needed (autism) students; b) applying the scientific, lecturing, question and answer, presentation, and problem based learning approaches, and applying the knowledge, attitudes, and skills; c) guiding students; d) creating the conducive and fun learning situation; e) having a good coordination with the special a particular advised teacher; 2) the impacts of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers? strategies toward students as follow : a) civics knowledge, regular students were able to understand well, but the slow learners were not. It was because of the slow learner capability is only capable of up to 5 th grade; b) civics characteristics, regular students were able to showing the private characteristics, such as responsibility, discipline, and showing the public characteristics such as listening friends? opinion, are not showing the discrimination. On the other hand, slow learners tended to showing the private characteristics that was responsibility; c) civics skills, regular students and slow learners were able to give opinion; 3) the enabling and inhibiting factors of Pancasila and Civic Education teachers? strategies on the Inclusive Education in the Regular Education Curriculum with modifications as follow : a) the enabling factors are (1) there was the particular advised teacher; (2) the adequate facilities and infrastructures such as a Puspa room, school?s WIFI, and library; (3) students? attitude that supported the implementation of teachers? strategies in inclusive education; b) the inhibiting factors are (1) there are no variation in teachers? strategies; (2) the allocation of a relatively short time; (3) there are still no special guides for regular curriculum with modifications.

Abstract

This study aims to ascertain:  1) How the competence of civics teachers as implementation of psychomotor rating. 2) What are the inhibiting factors that experienced by civics teachers as implementation of psychomotor rating towards students at Junior High School 3 Kebakkramat Karanganyar.This method on this research is using a qualitative research approach. The type of research is qualitative descriptive. Data source obtained from informant, place, event and document. Sampling technique which used is purposive sampling. In this research, data collection techniques used to obtain and arrange data by interview, observation and document analysis. In the research results, it can be concluded that: 1) pedagogical competence of Civics teacher in implementing rating has been done, but it is not all explanation in each indicators done by civics teachers. In indicator implements rating, process evaluation, and study result, civics teachers have not done yet the administration of process rating and study result chronically by using various instrument. For the indicator of utilizing research result and evaluation to the interest of learning, civics teachers have done well. Also, the indicator doing reflective action of increasing quality of learning. Civics teachers have done it but civics teachers have not done yet research of class action that obtained by that reflective result to improve learning on civics subject. In addition, As for psychomotor rating showed by unsuitable RPP in the making of implementing in class. Teachers apply the psychomotor rating on RPP but it can?t be done yet in learning. Civics teachers in psychomotor rating using technique of rating for job, portfolio, and observation or self-judging; 2) The inhibiting factors that hampered by Civicsteachers on determining of Psychomotor Rating are: hampered by time, difficult to determine the indicator and evaluation aspects of learning materials, the number of students are big, using cognitivist teaching materials and conventional learning models.

Abstract

This research aimed to find out (1) the Civic Education teacher?s mastery of Information Technology and Communication (ICT)-based learning media in public junior high schools in Selogiri Sub District; (2) the Civic Education teacher?s awareness of using ICT-based learning media; (3) the attempt taken by headmaster to use the Civic Education teacher?s mastery in using ICT-based learning media; and (4) Civic Education teacher?s pedagogic competency viewed from the mastery of ICT-based learning media in Public Junior High School in Selogiri Sub District.This study employed a qualitative interactive method and qualitative descriptive approach with case study. The data source included informant, place, activity, document with purposive sampling. Techniques of collecting data were interview, observation, and documentation study. To validate the data, data and method triangulations were used. Considering the result of research were: (1) Civic Education teacher?s mastery of ICT-based learning media in public junior high schools in Selogiri Sub District was still low in which Civic Education teacher?s knowledge and ability of using computer, LCD, internet, various information and media, and of dealing with barrier or constraint in using ICT-based learning media were still limited; (2) the Civic Education teacher?s awareness of using ICT-based learning media was still low because the attempt of learning anything related to ICT-based learning media, there had been no personal willingness in using ICT-based learning media, and there had been no willingness and attempt of selecting the ICT-based learning media relevant to Civic Education. (3) The attempts taken by the headmaster to improve the Civic Education teacher?s mastery of ICT-based learning media were moderately and fairly good including providing infrastructure, holding training of ICT, giving moral support /advice/instruction/direction to Civic Education teacher in order to improve the mastery and the utilization of ICT. (4) Civic Education teacher?s pedagogic competency in Public Junior High Schools in Selogiri Sub District was still low viewed from the mastery of ICT-based learning media.
