Abstract

The aim of the study is to test the effect of the Diagnostic Assessment For Basic Competencies Mastery synthesizing the State Institution Authority  according to the Constitution of Indonesia Year 1945. The population of this study were students from X class of  SMA Batik 1 Surakarta. The sample were  X MIPA 4 class as the experiment class which use the Diagnostic Assessmentand X MIPA 3 class which use the conventional assessment through cluster random sampling technique. This research used experimental method with true-experimental design. The data collection was conducted by using test techniques to measure the basic competencies mastery, observations in the Diagnostic Assessment and document analysis techniques to gather the data on the PPKn RPP to complete the data. The data analysis using two differentation in T-test sample, while requirement test analysis using  normality test and homogeneity test. The results of this research is there are differences in basic competencies mastery of students in the experimental class in the X MIPA 4 class with a basic competencies mastery of students in the control class in the X MIPA 3 class. The score of basic competencies mastery obtained from the average grade of 84.15 in experimental class and 72.35 in control class. It can be shown in the calculation of t_hitung amounted to 5,558. T_tabel then compared with the significance level of 5% amounting to 1,992 and obtained t_hitung > t_tabel, namely 5.558 > 1.992. in conclusion  t_hitung > t_tabel, so H_0  rejected and H_a accepted. Therefore, it can be concluded that there are significant differences in the influence of the Diagnostic Assessment to the basic competencies mastery on synthesizing the State Institution Authority according to the  Constitution of Indonesia Year 1945.

Abstract

This paper unpacks the role of education concerning with  social mobility and civic participation. There are some evidences that education could not enhance social mobility as far as no inclusion and participation. Civic participation depends not only on a legal status, but essentially on access to social and economic resources. Thus, civic participation, the sense of belonging and solidarity, is necessarily connected with the problem of unequal distribution of resources in society. Modern conception of universal citizenship, especially when it is combined with extreme inequality and poverty, tends to exclude some groups and individuals. Civic education, as an empowerment device, not only can counteract this effect of exclusion, but it also can contribute to civic participation and construction toward a more comprehensive and effective citizenship concept.

Abstract

ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan  untuk  menganalisis dialektika normativikasi dan kontekstualisasi pengelolaan sumber daya alam  di kawasan konservasi di Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu.Desain penelitian adalah kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan  adalah dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: Pengelolaan Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu dalam praktiknya belum optimal dalam mengatasi gangguan keamanan kawasan yang meliputi: kebakaran hutan, pencurian sumber daya alam, perburuan satwa liar dan perambahan. Faktor penyebab  inefektivitas pengelolaan  Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu : a) praktek pengelolaan taman nasional yang dilaksanakan selama ini berpijak pada ?sistem nilai? konservasi alam yang terpatri pada ?pengawetan dan perlindungan? melalui upaya menekan interaksi hutan dengan aktivitas masyarakat disekitar hutan b), belum terciptanya keterpaduan atau titik temu karena masyarakat terkendala oleh hak akses terhadap sumber daya alam sedangkan pengelola Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu  terkendala oleh  regulasi yang berlaku. Keywords: Pengelolaan, Taman Nasional Gunung Merbabu, Dialektika, Norma,     Realita

Abstract

The result of research showed that the implementation of nationality character reinforcement in SMA Islam (Islamic Senior High School) Al-Azhar 7  Sukoharjo included: 1) Civic education, Al-Qur?an Education, Sociology and History subjects addressing the nationality character, 2) the presence of Javanese language subject, the part of language variety in Indonesia, 3) boy scout activities, 4) OSIS (Internal School Student Organization) activities, 5) flag ceremony, and 6) celebration of RI?s independence day. The constraints the educator faced in building the nationality character reinforcement included: 1) the educator always play game online leading to laziness in learning, 2) SMA Islam Al-Azhar 7 Sukoharjo should attend two curriculums: one from Al-Azhar foundation and one from Sukoharjo Regency?s Education and Culture Service; thus educator found difficulty in integrating both curriculums, 3) However the nasionalism character is the part of the religion nasionalism, sometime the student didn?t care about the character it self. The nationalism attitude demonstrated by the educators of SMA Islam Al-Azhar 7 Sukoharjo, included: 1) participating actively in flag ceremony implementation, 2) participating actively in boy scout activities, 3) speaking good and correct Indonesian, 4) expressing opinion when Indonesia is in conflict with other states, 5) participating in heroic and independence days celebration, 6) being proud of diversity existing in Indonesia, 7) loving nationality and heroic songs, 8) being care of fellow human beings, and 9) being care of environment.

Abstract

Global moment that blooms in this time demand character reinforcement existence and nation spirit so that need a correct efforts is developed. One of  efforts that can be done that is with develop character education. Education be a potential development process exist in human self so that can bloom well and be of benefit to self and the environment. Also contain meaning a process to help grow, develop, mature, configuring,  and aim so that process of vital importance for every human. Character is individual attitude stable from consolidation process result progressively and dinamic, statement integration and action. For that, character education can be interpretted as process teach habitual way of thinking and behaviour that help individual for alive cooperates as family, society, nation and country with help to make decision that accountable. Character education development can be done at all education stages. There various character education kind that can be developed that is character education based on value, character education based on environment,  and character education based on potential self. For that in order to character reinforcement and nation spirit at this global moment, character education development is done comprehensively that is based on value, environment and potential self. To develop character education comprehensively this can use various approach among others: value clarification and moral development approach, self esteem approach, multiple talent approach, creative approach, public speaking approach, inquiry approach, and effective thinking approach. Character education aim this nation spirit reinforcement must be begun with moral commitment strong, motivator tall,  and consistent in develop it with a purpose to so that success form character and strong nation spirit and not easy influenced in global moment development this time.

Abstract

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan keterampilan dan wawasan pada guru-guru  dalam membuat dan mengemas rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP) PKn sesuai dengan kurikulum tahun 2013. Program ini merupakan program yang bersifat terminal dalam rangka peningkatan wawasan dan keterampilan guru-guru PKn yang mengajar di SMP dan SMA di Kecamaan Kintamani dalam memahami strategi penyusunan RPP berdasarkan kurikulum 2013 untuk mata pelajaran  dengan sistim jemput bola. Untuk kepentingan pencapaian tujuan program ini, maka program pengabdian masyarakat ini akan dilkukan dengan metode  Diklat dan pendampingan/ supervisi kelas.Setelah diadakan pelatihan, para guru PKn yang mengajar di SMP dan SMA di Kecamatan Kintamani memiliki keterampilan yang memadai dalam membuat dan mengemas rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Hal ini terlihat setelah dilakukan evaluasi terhadap hasil pelatihan dan pendampingan, para guru menyerahkan rancangan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran kepada tim pakar untuk dikoreksi. Selain itu, para guru menjadi lebih antosias dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran setelah memiliki pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam membuat rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran  sesuai dengan kurikulum 2013, karena mereka telah memiliki pedoman dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran. Untuk itu, hendaknya dilakukan pelatihan secara berkesinambungan bagi para guru agar memiliki keterampilan yang memadai dalam membuat dan mengemas rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran. Rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran juga dijadikan sebagai bahan refleksi oleh para guru untuk menilai tingkat keberhasilan peroses pembelajarannya.

Abstract

The focus in this study is whether the application of learning models jig saw can improve motivation and learning outcomes in the material Civics Political System in Indonesia . This study aimed to describe the increase in motivation and learning outcomes Civics at SMA Negeri 1 Gubug the academic year 2014 / 2015. The method used was classroom action research . The results showed that the application of learning models jig saw can improve: 1 ) motivation to learn from the average 73.52 % ( first cycle ) and 85.29 % ( second cycle ) ; 2 ) the learning outcomes of a mean of 77.50 ( first cycle ) and 82.82 ( second cycle ) .
