Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar belakang: guru merupakan komponen utama dalam implementasi kurikulum tingkat satuan pendidikan, oleh karena itu dibutuhkan guru yang berkompeten untuk mengaplikasikannya, akan tetapi KTSP merupakan hal yang baru bagi sebagian guru, sehingga kesulitan untuk menerapkannya. Sehingga kompetensi guru perlu dikaji untuk mengetahui realita dilapangan dan bisa dilakukan evaluasi serta perbaikan untuk kedepannya. Metode: penelitian kualitatif berbentuk deskriptif. Strategi penelitian yaitu strategi tunggal terpancang. Sumber data meliputi informan, kata-kata atau tindakan, tempat dan peristiwa serta dokumen. Teknik sampling yaitu purposive sampling dan teknik snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu wawancara, observasi dan analisis dokumen. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metodologis. Sedangkan teknik analisis data adalah teknik analisis interaktif. Hasil penelitian: sosialisasi dilapangan masih kurang sehingga pemahaman guru tentang KTSP minim, kompetensi pedagogik, kepribadian, sosial dan profesional guru secara keseluruhan sudah memenuhi. Akan tetapi ada beberapa aspek yang masih kurang seperti pemahaman karakter siswa, kedisiplinan guru, penguasaan IT, dan relevansi pendidikan. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Guru, KTSP

Abstract

Culinary business is the most desirable business by people today as it does not recognize any season and trend. Food currently is not merely a consumption product to fulfill the biological need of human beings, but has to do with a new life style, that is, becoming a culinary industry which not only gives a taste but also becomes a self-actualization need. Therefore, entrepreneurial spirits, creativity touches, and innovations are required in its process so that the business can sustainably be retained. The objective of this research is to investigate the role of creativity and innovation for product diversification at Steak & Chicken Stall by its owner.             This research used the descriptive research method. The samples of research were taken by using the non-probability sampling techniques consisting of accidental sampling for customers and purposive sampling for the owner and employees of the stall, Head of the Office of Industry and Trade of Magetan Regency. The data of research were gathered through in-depth interview, observation, and documentation. They were analyzed by using the interactive model of analysis.            The result of research shows that creativity and innovation are very much required for product diversification, as they can create new ideas for culinary products.  This in turn will increase the sale turnover and income. Product diversification is truly needed if the business condition begins to be threatened by new competitors or to be left by customers. To fix it, a self-exploration attitude is required, that is, the ability to sharpen creativities and implement them in real actions as an embodiment of innovations, so as to have special contributions to the increase of sale turnovers, customers, and profits.Keywords: Creativity, innovation, entrepreneurship, and product diversification

Abstract

Perumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana implementasi dari pelaksanaan MPMBS pada SMA RSBI di SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta. Sedangkan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan model MPMBS pada SMA RSBI di SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, sedangkan strategi penelitian yang digunakan adalah strategi kasus tunggal terpancang. Sumber data yang digunakan terdiri dari informan peristiwa atau aktivitas, tempat atau lokasi, dan dokumen atau arsip. Teknik sampling yang digunakan adalah purposive snowball sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, dokumen dan studi kepustakaan. Untuk mengukur validitas data digunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi metode. Teknik analisis data menggunakan model analisis interaktif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data dan pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta sebagai salah satu Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional sudah menerapkan 8 Standar Nasional pendidikan. Selain itu, SMA N 1 Surakarta juga telah menerapkan satu komponen tambahan yakni kultur sekolah. (2) Input sekolah di SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta dalam menunjang MPMBS sudah cukup baik dengan seleksi penerimaan siswa baru yang cukup ketat dengan mensyaratkan nilai di atas rata-rata serta kondisi ekonomi yang cukup baik. (3) Proses sekolah pada SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta terlaksana dengan baik terutama dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar tetapi terkendala pada peranan komite sekolah yang minim. (4) Output sekolah yang dalam hal ini dapat diketahui dari prestasi akademik baik berupa nilai UAS dan UN serta nilai rapor. (5) Outcome di SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta juga cukup baik dimana lulusan SMA Negeri 1 sebagian besar masuk di Perguruan Tinggi favorit. Sedangkan ditinjau dari upaya melibatkan semua stakeholder dalam kegiatan sekolah tidak terbatas pada pengambilan keputusan yang berkaitan dengan pendanaan, tetapi juga mengenalkan masyarakat secara intensif akan program-program yang dilaksanakan pihak sekolah serta SMA Negeri 1 Surakarta juga dapat menghasilkan lulusan yang mampu bersaing. Kata kunci: Manajemen Peningkatan  Mutu Berbasisi Sekolah (MPMBS), Rintisan Sekolah Bertaraf Internasional.

Abstract

AbstractThis study to know: 1) The effect of the cooperative learning models of NHT type and the cooperative learning models of TSTS type on the learning achievement in Economy Social Science; 2) the effect of the students high, moderate and low level learning motivation on the learning achievement in Economy Social Science; and 3) the interaction of effect between the cooperative learning models and the students learning motivation the learning achievement in Economy Social Science. This research is a quasi-experimental, 2x3 factorial design. The population in this study are all Junior High School in Karanganyar. The sampling technique used was cluster random sampling. The sample in this study amounted to 66 students include 32 students of eight grade of SMPN 5 Karanganyar as experimental class and 34 students of eight grade SMPN 2 Jaten as the control class. The trial results were analyzed with the learning achievement test content validity test, reliability test, level of difficulty, different power and internal consistency. The validity test of each test items used by Product Moment correlation technique of Kark-Pearson at the level of 5%. Instrument reliability test using Cronbach Alpha formula. By using SPSS 22 figure reliability coefficient of 0.7. Test requirements analysis consists of tests of normality and homogeneity test. Normality test is done using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov Lilliefors method and the results were normal distribution of data across groups. Levene homogeneity test using the test and the result is a homogeneous whole group of data variance. The data analysis technique for testing to test the hypothesis in this study is an analysis of variance followed by a two-lane Scheffe test. Hypotheses were analyzed with SPSS for windows at significant level of 0.05.The results showed that: 1) student achievement that used NHT model better than direct TSTS model and p-value anava test respectively for 0.000 and 0.000; 2) student achievement that has a high motivation better than the learning achievement of students who have high levels of motivation medium and low, and p-value anava test respectively for 0.000 and 0.012; 3) there is a interaction between the learning model and level of learning motivation to student achievement,and p-value anava test respectively for 0.000 and 0.022. Keywords: NHT, TSTS, learning motivation, learning achievement

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the improvement of learning creativity and entrepreneurial motivation through the implementation of the scientific approach of Project Based Learning model with audio-visual media on the Craft and Entrepreneurship subject matter of the Students in Grade X Accounting 3 of State Vocational High School 2 of Jiwan, Madiun Regency.This research used the classroom action research with the descriptive qualitative and quantitative method (mixed method). Its objects were the students as many as 36 in Grade XI Accounting 3 of the aforementioned school. The data of research were collected through observation, in-depth interview, field note, questionnaire, and documentation.The result of research shows that the implementation of the scientific approach of PjBL model with audio-visual media creates an effective and exciting learning, improves the students? critical thinking skill to solve problems and motivates them to create creative ideas in learning and craftsmanship so that in the long-term, it improves their entrepreneurial motivation. Based on the questionnaire, the students? learning creativities also improve following the implementation of the scientific approach of PjBL model with audio-visual media. Prior to the treatment, their average percentage is 73%, and following the treatment, it becomes 89%. In addition, their entrepreneurial motivation also improves. Prior to the treatment, the average percentage is 73%, and following the treatment it becomes 87%. The statistical calculation of the significance value (2-tailed) shows that the value of t-test is 0.000. It is less than 0.050 meaning that H0 is rejected. Thus, there is a significant difference of average score of leaning creativity and entrepreneurial motivation prior to the treatment (pre-test) and following the treatment (post-test). Keywords: Scientific approach, Project Based Learning, Audio-Visual, Learning Creativity, Entrepreneurial Motivation

Abstract

Kusuma Sahid Prince Hotel (KSPH) is one of the hotels in Surakarta. The performance measurement at KSPH Surakarta all this time is only viewed from financial aspect. The financially measurement of performance is not enough to reflect the actual company performance, so it is needed the more comprehensive method of performance measurement  as a benchmark of target attainment of the company. Balanced Scorecard is an alternative choice for the measurement of a company performance. The objective of the research is to gain result about the application of Balanced Scorecard in measuring performance at KSPH Surakarta in the year of 2011-2013 through four perspectives; financial, customer, internal business process, also learning and development perspective. This research used qualitative approach with descriptive method type job and activity analysis. Data analysis technique used in this research was interactive model. The result of this research shows that performance at KSPH Surakarta in the year of 2011-2013 based on the analysis result toward the four perspectives of Balances Scorecard achieves at 64,583%, it means that KSPH Surakarta has the good performance quality in achieving target strategy for every perspective in Balanced Scorecard. Abstract

The objective of this research is to develop a valid and effective guidance book for practice to be applied at Mini Bank laboratory of the Accounting Expertise Program of State Senior Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta as to improve the skills of financial transaction recording.This research used the research and development (R&D) method claimed by Borg and Gall. It consisted of eight phases of development, namely: (1) research and information collecting, (2) planning, (3) development of preliminary form of product, (4) preliminary field testing, (5) main product revision, (6) main field testing, (7) operational product revision, and (8) operational field testing. The validation of product was done through internal and external ones. The former was done to the components of developed book through peer review which involved a material expert, a media expert, two practitioners, namely the teachers who develop the mini bank of the school. Meanwhile, the latter was done by testing the feasibility of the developed book which involved the students in Grade X and Grade XI of the Accounting Expertise Program of the school. The research methods used in the testing implementation was the descriptive qualitative and quantitative one.The results of research show that: (1) the developed guidance book for practice of mini bank laboratory is valid and feasible to be used according to the result of validations by experts and that of testing by students; (2) the developed guidance book for practice of mini bank laboratory is proven to be effective to be applied as a reference for practical learning activities so that it can improve the skills of financial transaction recording of the students of the school. Thus, a conclusion is drawn that the developed guidance book for practice of mini bank laboratory is valid and effective to improve scores in the skills of financial transaction recording of the students in Grade X and XI of the Accounting Expertise Program of State Vocational High School 1 of Surakarta.  Keywords:Guidance book, practical learning, mini bank laboratory, vocational

Abstract

Background: The aims of this research are to know: (1) The difference of effect between internet media and VCD media to the achievement in social science of economics , (2) The difference of effect between high learning motivation  and low learning motivation to the  achievement in social science of economics, (3) The effect interaction between learning media and students' learning motivation to the achievement in social science of economics. Subjects and Methods: The kind of research used in this study is experiment. The population of the research is the students of junior high school at the Islamic Foundation in Kartasura and Gatak District.  All of the samples were taken by using a multi-stage cluster random sampling technique.  The sample is 127 students represent the population of 771 students.  The data of the research were gathered by using questionnaire for learning motivation and test for learning achievement.  The data were analyzed by a two-way analysis of variance.Results and Conclusion:(1) There was significant effect difference between internet media and VCD media to the achievement in social science of economics (Fobs: 243.86 > Ftable: 3.84), (2) there was significant effect difference between high learning motivation and low learning motivation toward achievement in social science of economic between students who have high motivation to students who have low motivation (Fobs: 27.526> Ftable: 3.84 ), (3) there was effect interaction between learning media and learning motivation for achievement social science of economics (Fobs: 6.396 > F table: 3.84). Abstract

The Effort to Increase the Quality of the Learning Process of  Accounting through the Implementation of the Cooperative Learning Model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) Type of the 11th-grade Students of SMA Negeri 3 Sragen Majoring in Social Science in the Academic Year of 2012/2013. Surakarta. 2013.            The objectives of this research are to investigate: (1) the implementation of the learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type in increasing the quality of the learning process of Accounting  of the 11th-grade students of Class Social Science 4 of SMA Negeri 3 Sragen in the academic year of 2012/2013; and (2) the implementation of the learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type in increasing the quality of the learning result of Accounting of the 11th-grade students of Class Social Science 4 of SMA Negeri 3 Sragen in the academic year of 2012/2013.            This research used classroom action research approach. The samples of this research consisted of the 11th-grade students of Class Social Science 4 of SMA Negeri 3 Sragen as many as 32 students. The data of this research were gathered through observation, interview, test, and documentation. The procedure of this research consisted of the stages of: (1) identifying problems, (2) preparing actions, (3) setting up action plan, (4) implementation of actions, (5) observation, and (6) setting up report. The process of this research was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four stages, namely: (1) planning of action, (2) implementation of action, (3) observation and interpretation, and (4) analysis and reflection. Each cycle was conducted in three meetings as long as 6 x 45 minutes.            Based on the results of the research, a conclusion is drawn that the implementation of the learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type can increase the quality of the learning process and the learning result of Accounting. This is seen from the increasing learning activeness of the students in the apperception, in taking part of the learning process, in discussing the question exercise in class punctually and correctly as well as the learning result completeness. As a result, the students can comprehend the learning material of Accounting more easily in such a way that the quality of the learning process and the learning result of the students increases. The learning process through the learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type can increase the learning quality through the steps which have been established previously in the Lesson Plan. Thus, the implementation of the learning model of Numbered Heads Together (NHT) type increases the quality of the learning process and the learning result of the students.Keywords: learning motivation, learning participation, learning activeness, and completeness

Abstract

ABSTRAK Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk: 1) mengetahui pengaruh langsung positif kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Lasem, 2) mengetahui pengaruh langsung positif motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Lasem, 3) mengetahui pengaruh langsung positif fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Lasem, 4) mengetahui pengaruh tidak langsung positif kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi melalui motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Lasem, dan 5) mengetahui pengaruh tidak langsung positif fasilitas belajar terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi melalui motivasi belajar pada siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 1 Lasem. Sampel dari penelitian ini adalah sebagian dari siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 1 Lasem tahun pelajaran 2011/2012 yaitu berjumlah 96. Data dalam penelitian ini dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis jalur (path analysis). Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa kompetensi guru berpengaruh secara langsung positif terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi sebesar 40,9%, akan tetapi tidak memiliki pengaruh secara signifikan melalui variabel motivasi belajar siswa. Motivasi belajar siswa berpengaruh secara langsung positif terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi sebesar 39,3%, dan fasilitas belajar berpengaruh secara langsung positif terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi sebesar 28,1%, serta berpengaruh secara tidak langsung positif terhadap prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi melalui motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,149. Kata kunci: Prestasi belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi, kompetensi guru, motivasi belajar siswa, dan fasilitas belajar.
