Abstract

Konseling Islam adalah metode untuk memahami, mengarahkan, dan membantu orang dalam menyelesaikan masalah kehidupan yang didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip Islam. Gagasan mendasar tentang konselor Islam dibahas dalam artikel ini, beserta tugas-tugas yang harus dilakukan dan keterampilan yang dibutuhkan untuk melakukannya dengan sukses. Konselor Islam memasukkan prinsip-prinsip Al-Qur'an dan As-Sunnah ke dalam sesi konseling mereka, berperan sebagai pendamping spiritual dan penyedia solusi. Tanggung jawab utama konselor Islam meliputi membantu klien dalam memahami masalah dari perspektif Islam, menawarkan inspirasi yang didasarkan pada prinsip-prinsip monoteistik, dan membantu klien dalam penyembuhan spiritual dan mental mereka. Kemahiran dalam ilmu syariah, psikologi, dan komunikasi interpersonal termasuk di antara kompetensi yang diperlukan. Esai ini menyoroti perlunya memiliki kepribadian yang bermoral karena konselor Islam perlu memberikan contoh positif bagi klien mereka. Konselor Islam dapat menjadi agen perubahan yang kuat yang membantu orang dalam mencapai keseimbangan emosional, spiritual, dan sosial jika mereka memiliki keterampilan yang diperlukan.

Abstract

Abstrac The phenomenon that often occurs nowadays is the rampant spread of religious hoaxes and distorted interpretations of the Qur'an in cyberspace, which have the potential to divide the community and disrupt social harmony. Religious hoaxes, in the form of false information related to teachings, figures, or interpretations of Quranic verses, spread widely through social media such as Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, and TikTok, as well as other online media. Distortion of Quranic interpretation occurs due to low religious literacy and minimal public knowledge about correct interpretation methods, making deviant interpretations easily accepted and disseminated. This research highlights the importance of verification strategies based on the principle of tabayyun (clarification), as taught in QS. al-Hujurat: 6, to counter religious hoaxes and maintain an authentic understanding of Islamic teachings. The research method used is a library study with primary sources in the form of socially-oriented Quranic exegeses such as Tafsir al-Misbah and Tafsir an-Nur, as well as secondary sources from previous literature and social media. A descriptive qualitative approach is used to examine the practice of verifying religious hoaxes in digital media. This research also adopts the debunking method from John Cook and Stephan Lewandowsky, which emphasises clarifying core facts, providing explicit warnings before restating hoaxes, and offering correct alternative explanations. The research results show that media and religious literacy education is very important for the community to be able to recognise and reject hoaxes as well as understand the interpretation of the Qur'an in its entirety according to its spiritual context. This research is expected to serve as a reference for preachers, academics, and policymakers in formulating effective strategies to combat religious hoaxes in the digital era. Abstract

This study explores the phenomenon of Muslim influencers on social media and how they claim and construct authority in interpreting the Qur’an in the digital age. With the rise of digital platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, influencers from religious scholars to public figures actively share Islamic content, including interpretations of Qur’anic verses. The objective of this research is to examine how these influencers engage in the practice of Qur’anic interpretation and to analyze the shift in interpretive authority from traditional scholars to digital public figures.The study employs a qualitative approach using online observation methods to analyze digital content produced by Muslim influencers. The data is interpreted based on typologies of religious authority and levels of influence on social media. The findings indicate that social media has become a new arena for negotiating religious authority. Interpretive authority, which was once exclusive to formally trained scholars, has become more open and shaped by popularity and audience engagement. On the other hand, social media has also contributed to the emergence of new forms of interpretation, such as visual tafsir, which are more communicative and accessible to the public. This phenomenon calls for collaboration between scholars, academics, and digital practitioners to ensure that disseminated religious messages remain authentic and responsible. Abstract

Abstract : This study examines the views of Sheikh Nawawi Al-Bantani on the Ash'ariyah creed and its relevance in the context of religious life in the archipelago today. This study is motivated by the significant role of Sheikh Nawawi as a scholar from the archipelago who made a major contribution to the development of Sunni Islamic theology, especially through the Ash'ariyah approach which is known to be moderate and inclusive. The focus of this study is to explore the characteristics of Sheikh Nawawi's kalam thought in central issues of creed, such as the concept of the oneness of God (wahdaniyyah), divine will and power, and understanding of Allah's kalam. In addition, this study also highlights the relevance of these views in the religious practices of contemporary Indonesian society. The research was conducted through a library research method with a qualitative approach, utilizing the works of Sheikh Nawawi and supporting secondary references. The findings show that Sheikh Nawawi developed classical Ash'ariyah kalam thought that emphasized the aspects of monotheism, the absolute power of God, and the existence of a synthetic approach between Ash'ariyah and Maturidiyyah thought in explaining Allah's kalam. This thought has proven to be still relevant in shaping the character of Islam Nusantara which is moderate, tolerant, and open to local culture. In conclusion, Sheikh Nawawi's thoughts not only enrich the discourse of Islamic theology, but also provide an important foundation for the development of peaceful and contextual Islam in today's Indonesia.

Abstract

The Qur’anic Exegesis of Mahmud Yunus is one of the most popular Indonesian-language tafsir works among Indonesian Muslims. This article examines the strengths and weaknesses of the tafsir, as well as its relevance in contemporary studies. Its main strengths lie in the use of accessible and easy-to-understand language, a structured method of interpretation, and a scientific approach that links Qur’anic verses with developments in modern knowledge. The contextual approach and the socio-cultural relevance to the Indonesian setting are added values that make it suitable as a practical learning source and introductory reference for the general public in understanding the Qur’an. Moreover, the use of the tahlili method in interpretation presents a verse-by-verse analysis, complete with vocabulary explanations, background of revelation (asbāb al-nuzūl), and scholarly opinions, providing a comprehensive and systematic picture. However, there are several limitations that need to be considered, such as the minimal use of in-depth linguistic analysis, limited exploration of differences in scholarly opinion, and the lack of attention to Sufi and philosophical dimensions. Furthermore, challenges in maintaining accuracy in Indonesian linguistic structure and the possibility of varied interpretations are also notable concerns. Overall, this tafsir serves well as an introductory and practical reference, but may be insufficient for more advanced and in-depth exegetical studies. This research is expected to help readers understand the strengths and limitations of Mahmud Yunus’s tafsir and assess its relevance within the context of modern Islamic studies. Abstract

The basic principles of management can be narrowed down to four things: [1] people; [2] resources; [3] goals; and [4] time. When these four elements are realized, they appear as a social unit called an "organization". It can be concluded that management work is a subsystem of the organization. Management is the key to organizational success because with effective management, organizations can achieve goals efficiently. Management in the Qur'an is not clearly stated. But the function or purpose in the conceptual approach of the Qur'an as values will be found to be much relevant. These values include: [1] Management as an individual and collective responsibility (QS. 99:7-8). [2] Management as a means of dividing work (QS. 06:165). [3] Management as work that must be accounted for (QS. 52:21 and QS. 74:38). [4] Management as a way of efficient and productive financial management (QS. 25:67). [5] Management as planning and foresight (QS. 59:18). The dynamics of thought on Islam and education are mapped: [1] The radical and scripturalist “universalist” group. Its figures are: Sheikh Hasan al-Banna, Sayyid Qutb, Sheikh Muhammad Rasyid Ridla, and Maulana Abul A’la al-Maududi. Their argument: Islam regulates the way of life from the smallest to the largest problems, including the education system. [2] The group influenced by western liberalism. Its figures are: Ali Abd al-Razik and Thaha Husein. Their argument: There is no Islamic education but Islamic education. [3] The group that tends to be liberal. Its figures include Husein Haikal. Their argument: Education is an area of creative thinking (ijtihadi) on the foundation of Islamic values.

Abstract

A simple definition of “organization” that can be applied is: “An organization is a system of reciprocal influence among people in a group who work together to achieve certain goals.” The implementation of the organization will be concrete if there are aspects that are quite important for the organizational process, namely: (1) Organizational identity. (2) Organizational principles. (3) Formulation of goals. (4) Organizational culture. (5) Management levels. Identity is not just a name, but an organizational structure must be formed so that its management is clear. The principles of the organization have two roles, namely: (1) As a guideline in a healthy and efficient organization. (2) As a foundation in carrying out organizational activities. Meanwhile, the formulation of objectives can be explained as follows: (1) Specific. (2) Time-limited. (3) Measurable. (4) Challenging. (5) Achievable. In an organization there are also dynamics of the relationship between individual goals and organizational goals, namely: (1) Totally contradictory. (2) Partially contradictory. (3) Neutral. (4) Appropriate. (5) Exactly the same. In the context of organizational development, several functions of organizational culture: (1) Culture as a differentiator between one organization and another. (2) Culture as a shaper of organizational identity. (3) Culture as an organizational glue. (4) Culture as a control tool. In an organization there are three levels of management: (1) Top Management. (2) Middle Management. (3) First Line Management.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the strategy of the Darussa'adah 21 Sutojayan Pakisaji Malang Islamic Boarding School in forming the independent character of its students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was collected through interviews, observation and documentation. The results of the research show that the Darussa'adah 21 Sutojayan Pakisaji Malang Islamic Boarding School has several strategies in forming the independent character of its students, namely: getting used to the values ​​of independence, discipline and responsibility. These strategies are implemented through various programs and activities, namely: daily routines, extracurricular activities, student organizations, service to Islamic boarding schools and the community, and alumni empowerment. The conclusion of the research is that the Darussa'adah 21 Sutojayan Pakisaji Malang Islamic Boarding School has successfully implemented various strategies in forming the independent character of its students. These strategies have a positive impact on developing the students' independent character. Key words: character, santri, education, Islam, strategy
