Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of giving various dosages of Solanum betaceum extract on the vitality spermatozoa mice exposed to lead acetate. This research was true experimental using randomized post-test only control group design. The total sample was 40 mice which were divided into 5 groups. Lead acetate used a dose of 75 mg/kg BW and various extracts of Solanum betaceum namely 100 mg/kg BW, 200 mg/kg BW and 400 mg/kg BW. Acclimatization was carried out for 7 days and continued with maintenance and treatment for 35 days. Statistical tests showed that there was a significant difference with (p=0.026). In conclusion, Solanum betaceum extract can be used as a protective to increase the vitality of spermatozoa exposed to lead acetate

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the IGF-1 levels decrease in mice modeled by Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Insulin Resistance post carbohydrate high in protein. True Experimental Design with a Posttest Control Group Design research using 36 tails, female Wistar Rattus Norvegicus Strains, 3 months, 100-200 grams and randomly divided into 3 groups, namely K-(n =12, negative control group), K+(n=12, positive control group) and KP(n=12, treatment group). SOPK-IR modeling is done by mice in the injection of the hormone testosterone provionate at a dose of 100 mg/kg BW for 28 days, on the last day after injection a vaginal swab is performed to identify the condition of diestrus. The measurement of IGF-1 levels used the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay method. Data analysis techniques used ANOVA test and LSD post hoc test. The results obtained mean levels of IGF-1 at K- (234.126±32.568) ng/mL, K+ (169.662±30.150) ng/mL, KP (146.528±29.562) ng/mL (p=0.000)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the response of physical exercise as a modulation of PGC-1α to protect against the increasing prevalence of obesity. This research is a true experimental design with the randomized pretest-posttest control group design using 15 obese women aged 18-22 years, Body Mass Index (BMI) 25-35 kg/m2, normal blood pressure, Resting Heart Rate (RHR) normal, VO2max 25-35 ml/kg/min and randomly divided into three groups, namely CONT (n=5, Control Without Intervention), MIIE (n=5, Moderate Intensity Interval Exercise) and MICE (n=5, Moderate Intensity Continuous Exercise). The intervention was carried out at 07.00-09.00 a.m. MIIE and MICE interventions carried out for 40-45 minutes using a treadmill. Pre-exercise blood sampling and 10 minutes post-exercise. Measurement of PGC-1α levels used the Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. Data analysis techniques used ANOVA test and LSD post hoc test with the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS)

Abstract

Obesity also increases the risk of decreased Growth Hormone (GH) secretion. Decreased GH secretions have an impact on increasing body fat and decreasing lean body mass. This study aims to analyze the status of Growth Hormone (GH) in obese subjects and the correlation of GH with age. This study used a cross sectional study method using 30 obese female adolescent Body Mass Index (BMI) subjects 25-35 kg/m2, Percentage of Body Fat (PBF) above 30% and fasting blood glucose (FBG) below 100 mg/dL. Measurement of GH levels used the Enzym Link Immunosorbent Assay (ELISA) method. Data analysis techniques used the Pearson Correlation test with the Statistical Package for Social Science. Results obtained mean GH levels (761.119±504.627) pg/mL and average age (20.863±1.082) years (r =-0.483) and (p=0.023). Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that there is a negative correlation between GH status and age in obese subjects

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the acute response of moderate intensity treadmill exercise to a decrease in MDA levels in obese women. True experiment research method with the randomized control group design posttest-only design using 21 obese women and randomly divided into three groups, namely K1 (n = 7, control without intervention), K2 (n = 7, moderate intensity interval training) and K3 (n = 7, moderate intensity continuous training). The intervention was carried out at 7-10 a.m. Moderate interval training interventions were carried out for 45 minutes, whereas moderate intensity continuous exercises were carried out for 40 minutes. Blood samples were taken 10 minutes after the intervention. MDA levels were measured using the Thiobarbituric Acid Reactive substance (TBARs) method. The results were obtained at K1 (811,286 ±72,539) ng / mL, K2 (615,571 ± 96,855) ng / mL, K3 (658,429 ± 113,934) ng / mL and (p =0.003)

Abstract

This study aims to analyze acute moderate intensity exercise decreases oxygen saturation in obese women. True experiment with a randomized control group design posttest-only design using 14 obese women aged 19-24 years, body mass index 27-33 kg/m2, percentage body fat (PBF) above 30 % and fasting blood glucose (FBG) below 100 mg/dL, normal hemoglobin, normal systolic and diastolic blood pressure, normal resting heart rate and randomly divided into two groups, namely CON (n=7, control without intervention) and MIE (n=7, moderate intensity exercise). Moderate intensity exercise interventions carried out for 40 minutes using a treadmill. Blood sampling is done 10 minutes after the intervention. Measurement of oxygen saturation using a Pulse Oximeter. The results obtained mean oxygen saturation at CON (98.428±0.534) % and MIE (96.571±0.975) % (p=0.001). Based on the results of the study concluded that moderate moderate intensity acute exercise reduces oxygen saturation in obese women.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the pattern of parent care in punk children in Bojonegoro District. This research uses descriptive research type with survey approach with sample number 8 parents who have punk children, sampling technique using total sampling. Variable in this research is parent's parenting pattern in punk child. Methods of data collection by using questionnaires then performed data processing by editing, coding, scoring and tabulating and univariate analysis with frequency distribution. The results obtained more than the majority of respondents (62.5%) implement permissive parenting. In this case it is expected that parents should always pay attention and affection, and supervise and guidance to the child to avoid misbehavior in punk children's community and apply democratic parenting pattern, where the children are given the opportunity to express their opinions, ideas and wishes so that children participate but there are rules from parents.

The aim of this study was to determine the benefits of RCD on nurses themselves, this literature through identification from the Pubmed database, Science direct and online wiley, use the keywords 'Reflection' and 'Case' and 'Nursing'. The method of searching articles uses PICOT technique, Prism Flow diagram, abstraction and synthetic data. Through fulltext screening, double publication and eligibility, 455 research articles were found. The next step is to screen through the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria so that the final result of the article found is 4 articles. Articles have a lot to explain about the benefits RCD for nurses, RCD can add to the knowledge of nurses, minimize the gap theory and practice so that errors can be resolved. Literature is also finding benefits RCD on nurses is increasing the professionalism of the work and cooperation among fellow colleagues. Implementation of the RCD environment of clinical very ber benefits
