Abstract

Hypertension is still the number one killer disease in Indonesia. Approximately one billion people worldwide suffer from this disease. Hypertension can be treated with pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatments. One of the non-pharmacological treatments is autogenic relaxation. This study aims to determine the effect of autogenic relaxation on hypertensive blood pressure changes. This study uses a Systematic Literature Review, a synthesis of systemic, precise, comprehensive literature studies by identifying, analyzing, evaluating through collecting existing data with an explicit search method and involving a critical review process in selecting the studies. The data from 11 journals were obtained from screening a number of journals from Science Direct, and Google Scholar. The results of the analysis showed that there was an effect of autogenic relaxation on blood pressure in hypertensive patients. Autogenic relaxation can benefit changes in blood pressure in hypertensive patients and is suitable if done regularly.

Abstract

This research is an experimental study with the design of the control group. The sampling technique is purposive sampling. The study's population was 32. The intervention group (n=16) respondents were given ROM therapy exercises of fingers and spherical grip, control group (n=16) respondents by giving ROM therapy exercise fingers. Exercise is done 2 times a day and done in 3 days for 15-20 minutes each time. Data analysis using Shapiro-Wilk, dependent paired t-test, and independent t-test. Statistical analysis results obtained by the intervention group (Range Of Motion therapy exercises (ROM) of the fingers of the hand and spherical grip exerted a more effective influence compared to the administration of therapy on the control group (ROM) of the fingers of the hand) get an average difference in extremity muscle strength with a p-value of 0.000

Abstract

ROS increase can causes damage to the kidney so that urea and creatinine level increase in the blood and can be used as a marker of decreased kidney function. Excessive free radicals can cause a decrease in endogenous antioxidant activity, namely the catalase enzyme. This condition can be overcome by given exogenous antioxidants such as strawberry juice (Fragaria ananassa Duchessne). This study aimed to determine the effect of strawberry juice treatment against urea and creatinine levels in male Wistar rats Isoniazid-induced for 14 days divided into groups, namely normal control, negative control, positive control, strawberry juice dose of 3 g/kgBW, 6 g/ kgBW, and 9 g/kgBW. Data were collected on 1st, 15th, and 29th day. The results of the study concluded that strawberry juice had an effect in reducing levels of urea, creatinine and catalase enzyme activity in isoniazid-induced rats with an effective dose of 3g / kgBW

Abstract

Apheresis is obtained from one donor, donors are connected to a machine that can clean up blood and only take platelets. The remaining cells and blood plasma are then returned to the donor's body. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of apheresis methods on the quality of blood products in UTD PMI Surabaya. This type of research uses a post test only control design, which was conducted on November 1st, 2019 - March 30th, 2020 with a sample of 50 TC Apheresis and 50 TC conventional. The quality of blood products carried out by the apheresis method at UTD PMI Surabaya has met the quality standards that have been tested. While the quality of blood products that do not use the Apheresis method at UTD PMI Surabaya, there are 2 samples that do not meet the standards, 48 other samples have met the standards

Abstract

The sampling technique in this study is Simple Random Sampling. From the routine results on 80 respondents showed that there were 36 respondents (45%) did blood donor routines and as many as 44 respondents (55%) did not do blood donor routines at UTD PMI Surabaya and from the Chi Square test using SPSS obtained a correlation coefficient value of 0.649 because Asymp.sig value 0.649> 0.05, so based on the research hypothesis it can be concluded that if the p value α (0.05) then Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge of donors aged 17 - 30 years with routine blood donor at UTD PMI Surabaya in this study. That there is no significant relationship between the level of knowledge of donors aged 17 - 30 years with the routine blood donor at UTD PMI Surabaya in this study

Abstract

Pregnancy and childbirth are physiological processes that women experience, but sometimes have risky conditions. This study aims to determine the effect of filial value and commitment to family ability in early detection of high risk pregnancy. This study used a cross sectional design. The sample size of 112 from a population of 155 by simple random sampling. Data analysis using SEM PLS. The results (52.7%) were in early adulthood , (62.5%) secondary education, (75%) worked in private (57.1%) had good self-esteem, (52, 7%) self -motivated enough, (50%) good previous behavior. SEM-PLS statistical analysis CFA, fillial value were 10.23 and commitment was 13.78, on family abilities. The value of the fillial value (0.201), the value of commitment (0.102). R2 value (0.63) and Q2 value of 0.65. In further research, it is necessary to involve other factors to increase family capacity, especially in the ability of families to detect high-risk pregnancies early.

Abstract

The population was students who were admitted to the University of Dr. Soetomo who came for complete blood count examination. The subjects were students with MCV <80 fl, MCH <27 pq. Subjects who met the inclusion criteria then continued with the calculation of the Mentzer Index and RDW Index, ferritin serum examination using the ECLIA method, hemoglobin electrophoresis examination with micro capillary electrophoresis. By consecutive sampling, 42 samples were obtained, of which 21 subjects diagnosed with iron deficiency anemia and 21 subjects diagnosed with beta thalassemia minor were examined for their Ret-He levels using the flowsitometric method which were then analyzed statistically. From the results of the study concluded that there was a significant difference between the levels of Ret-He in patients with iron deficiency anemia with thalassemia beta minor patients with a cut-off value of 27.30pg
