The aim is to see an assessment of the characteristics of nurse work scheduling in the hospital ward. This study used a descriptive survey design. The population in this study were all nurses in the ward of Lavalette Hospital - Malang. The sampling technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection using a scheduling characteristic questionnaire. Most of the respondents considered that the work scheduling criteria currently applied in the ward were in the sufficient category (80.2%). There are sub-variable coverage (309) and quality (321) less than the average value (322.08). The problems that arise in the nurse scheduling in the ward of Lavalette Hospital - Malang are the suitability of amount and distribution of nurses, quality of the schedule, an exchange between nurses, and time to prepare the schedule.

Abstract

This study was conducted to examine the effectiveness of cucumber suri juice (Cucumis Sativus) on blood pressure in hypertensive menopausal women. The study was a quasi-experimental pretest-posttest with control group design. It was 20 respondents selected by purposive sampling, divided into two groups there were intervention group (10 respondent) and control group (10 respondent). Data were analyzed used paired T test. The results showed that the decrease systolic blood pressure in the intervention group was 31,30 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 16,60 mmHg (p value 0,000) and in the control group decreased systolic blood pressure by 2,0 mmHg and diastolic blood pressure 1.3 mmHg (p value> 0.05). There was a significant effect of cucumber suri juice on blood pressure in the intervention group. Therefore that the cucumber suri juice can be an alternative treatment among menopausal women with hypertension

Abstract

This study used a cross sectional study. The population was DMPA and Cyclofem injection family planning acceptors, while the sampling technique used purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis with the Paired T test, it was found that DMPA acceptors had higher cholesterol levels (mean = -1.822; SD = 45.34; p <0.005) than cyclofem acceptors (mean = 1.722; SD = 35.51; P <0.005). Contraceptive injections cause changes in fat metabolism through changes in HDL and LDL levels. HDL is antiatherogenic, on the other hand, high levels of LDL and triglycerides cause cardiovascular disease in the periphery and coronary arteries which cause cardiovascular disease. Long-term use of hormonal contraceptives causes an increase in LDL, whereas HDL varies

Abstract

The delivery process is determined by several factors that influence it, one of which is from the mother and fetus side (Psychology, Power, Passage, Passanger, Position and Placenta). Childbirth can proceed normally (Euthocia) if these factors are met properly. This type of research is an observational study using a comparative study and a cross sectional approach, namely observing the position of labor (upright position and recumbent position) and observing the duration of second labor. The population in this study were mothers who gave birth at PMB Sari Nurhayati. The sampling technique used purposive sampling. The results of the Mann Whitney test analysis showed ρ value of 0.009 (ρ <0.05), which means that there is a significant difference between the upright position and the recumbent position. The average length of time II in the upright position was 11.3 minutes, while in the recumbent position group was 19.7 minutes.

The number of respondents used was 280 families. The sampling techniques was using cluster sampling. The strongest indirectly data which obtained from the research analysis of the pathway to prevent stunting was extenal factors through stunting empowerment with value of 0.264. The second strongest indirect influence was for stunting prevention through internal stunting prevention factors with value of 0.114. The results of this study showed that the indirect influence of family empowerment on stunting prevention is not as strong as the direct influence

Abstract

Childbirth without direct assistance by the family and the condition of the clinic that is not conducive due to this pandemic will risk making the mother even more anxious and insecure, especially if the mother does not fully understand the current condition. Lack of understanding will make mothers feel anxious. This study used a quasi-experimental study with a pre-test-post-test group. The population is 48 respondents. The independent variable is education about Covid and dependent variable is Self-efficacy and the level of maternal anxiety. Data collection using a questionnaire, anxiety with DASS 42 and self-efficacy will be measured using the general self-efficacy scale (GSES). Data analysis used Pair T test with α = 0.05. The results of the paired T-test statistical test obtained pre post test analysis of education, the self-efficacy variable stated the value of ρ = 0.02 and the variable degree of anxiety the value of ρ = 0.01.
