Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work stress and job burnout on the performance of health workers during the Covid-19 pandemic and analyze the influence of work stress on the performance of health workers of Aisyiyah Ponorogo General Hospital mediated by job burnout during the Covid-19 pandemic. The type of data used consists of primary data, namely data obtained from the dissemination of questionnaires and secondary data obtained from the company's internal data, journals, books and scientific articles. This study used a sample of 194 respondents who are health workers. The results of this study found that: 1) work stress has a negative and significant effect on performance in health workers; 2) work stress has a positive and significant effect on burnout in health workers; and 3) work stress has a negative and significant effect on the performance of health workers through mediation of burnout variable

Abstract

This study aims to determine the correlation between fiber intake and insulin resistance in normal and overweight employees in Jakarta. This study is a cross-sectional study of 58 employees of a pharmacy company aged 19-49 years with normal or overweight and normal blood sugar. BMI, waist circumference, physical activity, smoking status and food intake were assessed. The fiber intake was assessed by 3 days estimated food record and the insulin resistance was assessed by HOMA IR obtained from fasting blood sugar and insulin. Data analysis technique used the Spearman Correlation test with the Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS). Result obtained fiber intake and HOMA IR has r= -0.390 and p = 0.002. Based on the result of the study, it can be concluded that there is a negative correlation between fiber intake with insulin resistance in normal and overweight employees in Jakarta.

Abstract

Natural disasters can occur suddenly or through a process that takes place slowly. The occurrence of flood disasters is greatly influenced by natural factors in the form of rainfall that is above normal and the presence of rising tides. Disaster preparedness is a condition of a community that is both physically and psychologically sound in facing a disaster. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of flood disaster preparedness education on public knowledge of Perigi Village, Pulau Pinang District, Lahat Regency. The research method used is a quassy experimental method with one group pretest-posttest design design. The study population was all families (communities) in Perigi Village, Pulau Pinang District, Lahat Regency. The sampling technique is incidental sampling. Data were collected from respondents by distributing questionnaires before and after counseling to respondents.

Abstract

Giving complementary foods too early will result in the baby's digestive ability not ready to receive additional food. This will have an impact such as diarrhea. The design in this study was cross sectional. The population were 50 mothers who had babies aged 0-6 months. The sample were 45 people was taken using simple random sampling. Data analysis using test Chi-square. The results was almost all respondents (91.1%) gave early complementary breastfeeding. And 41 respondents who provided early complementary breastfeeding, most of them had diarrhea (68.3%). Based on the statistical test, the significance value of α = 0.05 obtained p-value = 0.016, which means that the p-value <α, then H0 is rejected, meaning that there is a relationship between early complementary breastfeeding and the incidence of diarrhea. Thus, it is hoped that health services will provide more health education to the community.

Abstract

School age children need sufficient food in quantity and quality in order to have a good nutritional status. The habit of children not having breakfast at home coupled with the habit of parents giving pocket money to children is a triggering factor for the emergence of unhealthy snacking behavior at school. Children often buy snacks. Carelessly and choose interesting types of food with low quality snacks and poor food ingredients. This study aims to determine the differences before and after being given health education on the behavior of choosing snacks for fifth grade students at SD Negeri 03 Kota Baru Lahat in 2019. This study is a quantitative study using a quasi experimental design with one group pre-test and post-test models. The sample in this study amounted to 46 people, taken through a total sampling method to all students in class V (Five) SD Negeri 03 Kota Baru

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of giving Fe Tablets in increasing Hb levels in adolescents aged 15-18 years at Senior High School 3 (SMAN 3 ) of Lahat. This type of research is quantitative with the design of Quasy Experiment One Group Pretest Postest. Samples were taken using purposive sampling as many as 46 respondents. The measuring instrument used is the Hb meter. The results showed that before giving Fe tablets, it was found that of 46 respondents, 11 respondents (24%) had anemia. In the measurement after giving Fe tablets from 46 respondents there were 5 respondents (10.9%) having anemia. Test Dependent Test showed significant results (p = 0.001). This shows that there is an effect of giving Fe tablets in increasing Hb levels in adolescents aged 15-18 years

Abstract

Primary health services are health services provided to the community at the first level by emphasizing promotive and preventive aspects. However, in carrying out their duties and functions, primary health services must improve because of the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to see how primary health care can maintain quality in the COVID-19 pandemic. The method used was Literature Review obtained from Science Direct, Elsevier, Pubmed and NCBI with vulnerability in 2020-2021 and obtained 7 articles that met the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The results showed that there are two forms of primary health care in maintaining quality during a pandemic, namely imposing new service patterns and utilizing telehealth. With the results of this study, it can be a reference for primary health services in Indonesia so that they are better able to maintain the quality of service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Stunting has become a global concern in the last decades, several studies have shown that one of the main causes of stunting is based on the knowledge of the mother. The aim of this study is the effect of nutrition education interventions on maternal nutritional behavior in stunted children. This method of compiling a systematic review is based on literature studies from various electronic databases, including Scopus, ProQuest, Science Direct, EBSCO, ResearchGate, and Google Scholar by conducting a review using the latest PRISMA. The keywords in this systematic study were unbeatable with the Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) consisting of (Maternal behavior OR maternal behavior AND nutrition education AND Growth Disorders OR stunting). 10 articles fit the inclusion criteria, the main results of the articles discuss maternal nutritional behavior. Appropriate nutrition education interventions are effective to prevent and improve the status of stunting children.

Abstract

Hypertension is a problem of cardiovascular disease that occurs in many people. The leaves of matoa, which have another name, Pometia pinnata, are one of the plants used as traditional medicine for the treatment of hypertension. The active compounds of matoa leaves are flavonoids. This study aimed to observe the hypertension profile of the Angiotensin Receptor Blocker class. The test animals used in this study were 45 male Wistar rats. Each group consisted of 5 rats induced by angiotensin II, divided into groups, namely normal control, negative control, positive control, a dose of 75g/kgBW, 150g/kgBW, and 300g/kgBW, and observation were done for 14 days. The hypertension profile observed in this study was the blood volume of rats. The percentage reduction in blood volume of rats given the best matoa leaves extract was 300 mg/kgBW, extract which showed mean difference in negative control group with a significance value of <0.05

Abstract

Elementary school children are important human resources in the nation's success, biologically a group that is prone to food and nutritional deficiencies because they are at a level of growth and development, there are various conditions of unsatisfactory school children such as underweight, anemia of iodine deficiency , lack of appetite, irregular eating patterns. School children are a group that easily receives nutrition education through their schools. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of the use of booklet media on respondents' balanced nutrition knowledge. The study design was a quantitative Quasy-experimental one group Pre-test post-test. The research sample with a total sampling technique is all children of grade V 23 Lahat state primary school. The measuring instrument used was a questionnaire.
