Abstract

Diabetic ulcers are a chronic complication of Diabetes Mellitus. Modern society prefers non pharmacology as a nursing action because it is far from chemicals. Researchers found that mindi leaves with ingredients that can be used as anti-inflammatory, antidiabetic and antibacterial can be used to treat diabetes which is packaged into a hydrogel for the basic ingredient of modern care (modern dressing). To determine the effectiveness of mindi leaf hydrogel on the wound healing process in patients with grade II diabetic ulcers. True experimental design with pre-test post-test with control group design. Data were collected by taking 40 respondents through stratified random sampling and the hypothesis was tested by using the General Linear Model effectiveness test.Mindi leaf hydrogel significantly accelerated the healing process of grade II ulcers with a value of p=0.000.Treatment of diabetic ulcers with mindi leaf hydrogel is effective in accelerating the wound healing process

Abstract

The spread of the Covid-19 virus, which has been stated as a global pandemic by WHO in March 2020, has given impacts on all sectors, one of the impacts on maternal health is the change and disturbance in family planning (FP) services. This review to identify the theme mapping of the literature regarding FP services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The drafting of the ScR adopted Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyzes Protocols for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR). There were 3 mapping themes obtained, namely the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic towards FP services, the influencing factors of FP services, and the recommendations for FP services during the Covid-19 pandemic. A lot of research is needed, especially those related to the practice of effective FP services and the quality of FP services to develop strategies for the improvement of FP services in the upcoming new normal era.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative approach to deductive mindset style research. The research was conducted from June to July 2020 in five polyclinics. Non-probability sampling with a purposeful sampling technique was the sampling method. Most research respondents rated satisfaction (81.2%) with RSUDZA polyclinic services with a range of SME 80.80 values and the overall mean level of conformity for the variable quality of service was 95 percent, with the highest reliability suitability (98.3 percent) and the lowest empathy level (98.3 percent) (92.2%). The Wilcoxon test results show that, with a p value of = 0.001, there is a significant difference between expectations and performance. Overall, RSUDZA services have a good level of satisfaction and quality. There are some elements that are missing, however. The relationship between patient expectations and the results obtained in the polyclinic service is important

Abstract

Pregnant with hypertension is one of the main causes of maternal and fetal death, but efforts to resolve them have not been optimal. To determine the difference in anxiety scores by Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) on pregnant women with hypertension. This study used a cross-over design. A total of 36 women in the third trimester obtained by random sampling were given PMR and bed rest. The measurement used HARS questionnaire. Data were analyzed using paired t-tets. There was a significant difference in anxiety scores before and after PMR (P <0.001), while there was no difference in bed rest (P> 0.05). There was a significant difference between PMR and bed rest on anxiety scores (P <0.001) with a greater mean reduction on PMR therapy. PMR can reduce anxiety scores in pregnant women with hypertension, so PMR can be a complementary therapy in obstetric care for them.

Abstract

The burden faced by families in caring for family members with mental illness is one important indicator in re-pasung actions. The purpose of this study was to describe the burden of the family in caring for people with mental illness post pasung which causes re-pasung. Qualitative design with a multiple instrumental case study approach using two cases chosen to provide an understanding of the re-pasung case. Six people participated in this study who were selected through a purposive sampling method. The data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with the case subject's family. Four categories were produced in this study, namely alternative therapy as an initial step in handling mental illness, pasung as a crisis management strategy, release of pasung and treatment in hospital, and re-pasung as a result of burden on the family. Subjective and objective burdens that can not be handled are predictors of re-pasung.
