Abstract

Ferritin is an inflammatory marker in obesity, TIBC, Fe, and transferrin saturation by examining iron status. Anthropometric parameters of waist circumference are related to visceral fat. This study analyzed the levels of ferritin, TIBC, Fe, and transfer saturation in central and non-central obesity. The observational study (cross-sectional) used 75 subjects for 4 months. Ferritin using ECLIA, TIBC and Fe using immunoturbidimetric and colorimetric methods, transferrin saturation using the comparison method of Fe and TIBC values in percent units. This study showed significant results on TIBC levels, while levels of ferritin, Fe, and transferrin saturation were not significant. The Spearman correlation test showed significant results between ferritin and waist circumference levels while TIBC, Fe, and transferrin saturation were not significant. In conclusion, there are significant differences in TIBC while ferritin, Fe, and transferrin saturation do not have significant differences between central and non-central obesity

Abstract

One complaint that is often experienced by patients during hemodialysis is RLS.This is because the implementation of dialysis takes 3-5hours a day or 2to 3times every week.To overcome these problems, intradialytic stretching exercise can be done in the first hour the patient underwent hemodialysis.Aims:To analyze the effect of the application of intradialytic stretching exercise on the scale of RLS in patients undergoing hemodialysis.Method:This research explores quantitative evidence published in electronic databases such as Pubmed and Google Scholar.Using a search strategy,we identified 12articles that were relevant to the purpose of the study, and 3articles were included in the final analysis. Results:We can see a significant effect on the decrease in the scale of RLS in the group, given the intervention compared to the control group. Conclusion:Research results from several articles in this review literature show that the Intradialysis Stretching Exercise is proven to be effective in reducing the RLS scale in patients undergoing hemodialysis.

Abstract

Nowadays in Indonesia, household waste remains the main problem. The purpose of this study is to know NPK level in anaerobic and aerobic composting using Spoiled rice MOL. This type of research is experimental, the research design is a post-test with a control group design. This type of research is experimental research design with Post-test Only Control Design. The design of this study was to determine the nitrogen, phosphorus and Potassium of compost using local microorganisms (MOL) of spoiled rice with anaerobic and aerobic composting methods. From the results of the research, the NPK content in anaerobic composting using Stale Rice MOL is 5% N, 5% P, 5% K. From the results of average measurements of temperature, pH and humidity and NPK. The temperature measurements obtained for MOL of Stale Rice are 50 ° C, 100% humidity, pH 7 and 5% N, 5% P, 5% K.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic condition causes the elderly to experience depression. Elderly access to health services during a pandemic requires health professionals to consider the use of an Android application as a method of approach. The method used in this paper is a case study with the aggregate of the elderly in Depok City. The sampling technique chosen was convenience sampling with a sample size of 38 people. The implementation of empowerment for the elderly is carried out using an android application named “Sadar Depresi Lansia”. The paired t-test results show that the use of android applications has a positive effect on the elderly's understanding of depression (sig. = 0.000) and depression level in the elderly (sig. = 0.000). The use of innovative android applications to provide education and screening services to the elderly with depression can be one of the methods that can be used by health workers.
