JIPFRI (Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Fisika dan Riset Ilmiah) is a scientific journal published with a view to facilitating academics and researchers to publish their research results in the field of Physics Education Innovation and Scientific Research in the field of physics. JIPFRI ( Jurnal Inovasi Pendidikan Fisika dan Riset Ilmiah) is a journal published by Program Studi Pendidikan Fisika Universitas Nurul Huda. JIPFRI began to appear in May 2017 that is Vol. 1 No. 1 the year 2017, with and periodically published twice per year in May and November. The focus of articles that can be published is related to the Innovation of Physics Education and Scientific Research. These are the details: (1). Innovation Physics Learning: model, strategy, approach, development of teaching materials and media in physics learning. (2). Scientific research: physics experiments and physics development research, usually the type of quantitative research. (3). Philosophy of science: profound scientific thoughts and have an acceptable reference, usually the type of qualitative research.

The sun is a source of energy that cannot be used up. Therefore, the utilization of solar energy must be a priority. With the many types of solar panels that have been developed, researchers conducted an analysis of 150 watt monocrystalline solar panels. The purpose of this study is to know the amount of current and voltage produced by solar panels in some conditions of the sky, namely cloudy, bright cloudy, and bright. The research method used was the experiment. From the data that has been obtained, it can be found that the energy produced by solar panels during cloudy ranges from 0.6-0.8 amperes, when it is cloudy, 0.9-1.9 amperes, and when bright 2.0-3.2 amperes. The amount of electrical energy that can be produced is 8%. The development of information and communication technology in the 21st century developed so fast. Therefore, various life skills are needed to be able to keep pace with the rapid development of technology. One of them is creative thinking skills. The skill of creative thinking can be cultivated through local potential physics-based learning. This study aims to determine whether there is an increase in creative thinking skills of students who conduct local potential based learning. The research method used was quasi experiment. The instruments used were tests and observation sheets. Data analysis used quantitative and qualitative descriptive analysis. The results showed that there is an increase in creative thinking skills of students who conducted physics learning based on local potential of 0.15975 in the low category.

The limited number of measuring devices generally becomes an obstacle of learning on measurement using Vernier caliper and micrometer screw in class. This situation causes students’ achievement on measurement have not been maximum. Iconic vernier calipers and micrometer screw are needed in the learning as more flexible alternative auxiliary media to increase students’ understanding on measurement concepts. The objective of this research is to determine the increase of students' understanding on the measurement concept after using the vernier calipers and micrometer screw iconic media. The research method used was an experimental method with the design of Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. The research was conducted in class VII of a junior high school in Banjarharjo. The experimental group was class VII A, while the control group is class VII B. The data of students’ understanding on the concept of measurement was taken from the results of the posttest of both groups. The analysis results shows average score of experimental group understanding is 69.58 with 69,44% of individual completeness and 0.51 gain factor. Meanwhile, the average score of control group understanding is 59.72, with 41.67% individual completeness and 0.45 gain factor score. This study indicates that the use of vernier calipers and micrometer screw iconic media is effective in increasing the students’ understanding on measurement concept of students.

This study aims to describe the understanding of students' concepts on dynamic electric metrics in maritime-based schools in the city of Tegal. The study was conducted through a four-stage diagnostic test. The concept of dynamic electricity includes: Electric current strength, potential difference, series-parallel circuit, electric power, and Kirchoff's 1 law. The study was conducted at Tegal Nahdlatul Ulama High School as a sample of maritime-based schools in Tegal in the 2018/2019 school year. The sample used in the study was 29 students of class XII IPA Nahdlatul Ulama High School in Tegal city. The stages of research include (1) Reviewing references and journals related to understanding concept research; (2) Reviewing the syllabus to obtain misconceptions in the material of dynamic electric chapter physics; (3) Designing a question instrument in the form of a four tier test that can diagnose student misconceptions; (5) Validation by experts, namely with lecturers; (6) Test instruments to determine validity, reliability, degree of difficulty and differentiation of questions; (7) Test of student misconceptions carried out to students of class XII IPA at Nahdlatul Ulama High School. The results of data analysis obtained a description of students' understanding which could be categorized as understanding concepts, misconceptions, not understanding concepts and errors.

The objectives of this research aims to identifying the impact of online learning and quiz that actually drive better results for ICT Literacyfor physics and student exam results. We are doing this observation with 40 students at SMK Ar-Rahman Watusalam with the sampling group method. We are using questionnaire to evalute the authentic situation of ICT Literacy and the exam results of students before we are using online learning and quiz. The that online learning and quiz make better results for ICT Literacy and student exam results, because the condition of students' physics test scores after the application of online interactive quizzes which reached KKM (Minimum completeness criteria), which reached 75 students out of 40 with a percentage of 65% of students.

RC circuit (Resistor-Capacitor) is an electric circuit that has a combination of resistor and capacitor components which are installed either series or parallel. This research was conducted to measure the capacitance of two capacitors with different capacitances with only using one resistor. This study aims to compare the capacitance both experimentally (using data acquisition systems) and theoretically. Capacitance measurements were carried out experimentally using Arduino Uno and at a maximum voltage of 5 volts. In this research, it has been successfully determined the charge capacitance of the capacitors, both in experiment and theory. It has been found the correlation of the results between experiment and theory (the value of R2 in charging and discharging process is greater than 0.95).

This article aims to describe the improvement of student learning outcomes in direct current circuit material after applying learning with mind mapping methods using the mindmeister application. The type of this research is pre-experiment with one group pretest posttest design method. The number of research samples was 15 students. The data collection technique used was the pre-test and post-test. Data were analyzed using the N-Gain test and paired t-test. The N-gain results obtained a value of 0.59 which means that the increase is in the medium category. The results of the t-test analysis obtained the value t = -6,650 with sig (2-tailed) = 0,000 which is smaller than the significance level of 0.05. The conclusion from the results of this study is that there is an increase in student learning outcomes in direct current circuit material after applying Learning with the mind mapping method using mindmeister.

Technology in the world is growing, technological developments have an impact on the world of education. One of the uses of technology is with cellphones, where cellphones are included in technology that is very popular with everyone. Therefore, the microscope media is designed with a smartphone camera. It is expected that microscope learning media based on smartphone cameras is one of the alternative learning media in schools that do not have a light microscope. The smartphone camera-based digital microscope is classified as a laboratory tool (tool of practice) in learning physics, biology. This smartphone camera-based microscope produces a fairly good and clear image, this camera-based digital microscope is easily poisoned with material that is easily found in everyday life. The workings of a digital microscope based on a smartphone camera are almost the same as the way a light microscope works, only here use the help of a smartphone so that the image obtained is more clearly visible on the smartphone screen.

A study about development of problem solving skills in physics learning was conducted to investigate how prospective teachers were able to integrate this ability into physics instruction. This article discusses the responses of prospective teachers to the development of problem solving skills through physics learning. Data were collected by using questionnaires and interviews. To strengthen data obtained through questionnaires, data were analyzed descriptively. The results of the study show that prospective physics teachers who have participated in Field Experience Program 2 (PPL 2) or who are currently participating in PPL 1, in general, agree that problem solving skills can be developed through subject matter learning, especially in physics learning. However, there are some prospective physics teachers who gave anomalous responses to several statements in the questionnaire, for example there are students who do not approve the statement that reads “Facilitating and analyzing problems for problem solving is done by drawing or sketching”. Based on these findings, it is necessary to provide a good understanding of the steps that should be taught in developing problem solving skills, such as giving example or modelling. Furthermore, prospective physics teachers need to be assessed their ability to teach the development of problem solving skills which was integrated with/in physics learning.

This research was conducted to determine specific heat of pure water and salt solution using the calorimeter measurement method based on the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The salt solution and pure water solution were heated by the heating wire with 2.4 A and 0.54 Ω. The temperature of the pure water and the salt solution was measured using the Arduino Uno microcontroller and DS18B20 temperature sensor. In this study, the Cv of pure water and salt solution has been found.
