Abstract

This article discusses intervention efforts to address stunting in Dorebara Village, Dompu Regency, through the Community Empowerment Real Work Lecture (KKN PMD) program by Universitas Mataram. The program involves the dissemination of information about the risks of stunting and the Practice of Clean and Healthy Living (PHBS), the provision of Complementary Feeding (MPASI) in the form of "Chicken Corn Soup," health surveys of prospective brides (Catin) using the Elsimil application, and knowledge about the implications of early marriage. The results indicate an increased understanding within the community regarding stunting prevention, proper childcare practices, and the importance of appropriate MPASI. In essence, this program offers concrete solutions and holds the potential to reduce the prevalence of stunting in the area.

Abstract

This study presents the findings of a community service program conducted in Langko Village with the goal of improving UMKM through product legality initiatives. Our 45-day intervention aimed to alleviate the difficulties faced by UMKM owners in the Langko Lauq and Langko Bat hamlets. In collaboration with the PLUT, the program included the creation of compliant product labels as well as the acquisition of NIB and SPP-IRT. Targeted socialization efforts also emphasized the importance of product legality and included expert-led sessions on financial literacy and digital marketing. Our intervention resulted in a remarkable transformation of the UMKM landscape of Langko Village. UMKM owners successfully obtained product legality documentation through streamlined procedures and expert guidance, fostering consumer trust and expanding market reach. Participants responded positively to the socialization efforts, which promoted informed decision-making and business diversification. Finally, the community service program demonstrated the tangible benefits of providing UMKM owners with legal recognition and comprehensive knowledge. The integration of product legality and strategic socialization can serve as a model for fostering long-term economic growth in rural communities. This research illuminates the potential of collaborative initiatives to boost local entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Dental and oral health is very important for us to maintain, because teeth are one of the organs that play an important role in the nutrition that enters our body. When teeth and gums are not cared properly, they can cause damage and this can lead to pain, masticatory disorders, canker sores, plaque, and so on. Maintaining healthy teeth should be done early on, so as to create healthy lifestyle habits. Counseling has the goal of changing individual behavior for the better and it is hoped that children's knowledge about dental and oral health will increase and can increase awareness and change lifestyle habits. Implementation counseling to share knowledge related to how to care for dental and oral health. Counseling is done by giving material and demonstrating how to brush your teeth properly and correctly. How to draw interesting material can make the attention of the participants focused on the speaker so that during a demonstration on how to brush their teeth, the enthusiasm of the participants soared and made the counseling event livelier. From the dental and oral health education program that has been implemented, satisfactory results have been obtained. All participants who attended dental and oral health counseling received knowledge about the importance of maintaining healthy teeth and how to maintain a healthy lifestyle. From this activity, it is expected that participants can act as mediators of information about oral health for their environment.

Abstract

Dimensi sosial, lingkungan alam dan manusia merupakan aspek terpenting dalam pertanian maju dan berkelanjutan. Aspek lingkungan alam disediakan oleh kawan dan manusia mencakup subyek/pihak-pihak terkait memberikan kesempatan bagi pengembangan agroeduwisata sebagai salah satu usaha peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat khususnya Desa Saribaye. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sektor agroeduwisata yang sudah ada di Desa Saribaye yang tidak pernah dikelola lagi supaya hidup kembali. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif melalui survey lokasi yang disertakan dengan wawancara secara mendalam pada masyarakat Desa Saribaye sehingga diketahui potensi yang ada pada Desa Tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) mayoritas pekerjaan masyarakat sebagai petani 2) kurangnya minat anak dalam pertanian 3) lokasi dan kadar tanah di Desa Saribaye ini Bagus sehingga cocok untuk dikembvangkannya agroeduwisata pada Desa ini.

Abstract

Kuliah Kerja Nyata (KKN) is a form of community service activity carried out by tertiary institutions. In the KKN activities carried out in Krama Jaya Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency, the purpose of implementing this KKN activity was to answer various social issues found, among others, in terms of implementing village administration, narrow land use, stunting prevention, environmental cleanliness, education , and agriculture. There are 4 activity methods carried out, namely (1) making agricultural samples with a hydroponic system, (2) educating pregnant and lactating women about the importance of nutritious food for children, (3) mutual cooperation cleaning the environment and also places of worship, and (4) making places rubbish. In its implementation, UNRAM Community Service students work together with the people of Krama Jaya Village in designing, building and operating a hydroponic system. The hydroponic method was chosen because it is able to maximize the use of limited land without compromising the quality of the plants. In addition, this method also reduces the risk of contamination by soil which can lead to harmful microbial contamination. During the KKN implementation period, students provided education to mothers in the village regarding the importance of balanced nutrition and nutritional intake needed for optimal children's growth. Observations showed that the implementation of the hydroponic method in narrow land was able to produce good quality vegetables. In addition, educational efforts regarding nutrition also have a positive impact in increasing public awareness of the importance of stunting prevention.

Abstract

Real Work Lecture or KKN is an implementation and concretization of community service which is one of the three pillars of high education. Through the village community service activities in Giri Tembesi Village, it is hoped that there will be a transfer of knowledge related to digital marketing and packaging innovation. The purpose of this activity is to provide understanding to the village community about the importance of digital marketing and packaging innovation to expand the potential market for small and micro bussines products in the village. To raise this awareness, structured efforts were made in the form of counseling or outreach, to direct assistance to one of the small business, namely the Dharma Yasa Group. The results of these activities indicate an increase in the understanding of small business actors on the importance of digital marketing and packaging innovation.

Abstract

Kecenderungan pelaku UMKM yang hanya berfokus pada mendapatkan keuntungan saja dan digunakan untuk kegiatan konsumtif dalam memenuhi kebutuhan hidup jangka pendek menunjukkan kemampuan dalam pengelolaan keuangan yang masih rendah. Berdasarkan hasil observasi dan wawancara dengan pelaku usaha UMKM di Wisata Kuliner Desa Kebon Ayu didapatkan bahwa pemahaman literasi keuangan para pelaku UMKM masih kurang, sehingga diperlukan pelatihan dan pendampingan sebagai bentuk pengabdian masyarakat di wilayah tersebut sekaligus memberikan stimulus kepada UMKM Wisata Kuliner sehingga pengelolaan keuangan dapat dipertanggungjawabkan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu berdasarkan permasalahan yang dialami, KKN-PMD Universitas Mataram memberikan kegiatan pelatihan literasi keuangan bagi pelaku UMKM Wisata Kuliner Desa Kebon Ayu, Kabupaten Gerung. Tujuan kegiatan pelatihan Literasi Keuangan ini: a) meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman tentang literasi keuangan; b) meningkatkan kompetensi terkait perencanaan keuangan, pengelolaan keuangan, produk keuangan, pembiayaan bisnis, dan manajemen risiko. Adapun metode pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang dilakukan yakni meliputi: tahap persiapan yang terdiri dari observasi, penyampaian materi, dan penyuluhan materi; tahap pelaksanaan terdiri dari pelaksanaan kegiatan pelatihan Literasi Keuangan diawali dengan pendekatan dan pendampingan kepada pelaku UMKM Wisata Kuliner; tahap evaluasi evaluasi kegiatan yang telah dilaksanakan. Dari hasil kegiatan pelatihan yang telah dilakukan, para pelaku UMKM Wisata Kuliner Desa Kebon Ayu memiliki wawasan dan pandangan baru dan mengerti literasi keuangan dalam mengelola kegiatan usaha dan memaksimalkan pendapatan yang diterima.

Abstract

Desa Peresak merupakan salah satu desa yang berada di Kecamatan Narmada, Kabupaten Lombok Barat, Nusa Tenggara Barat, yang dikenal sebagai salah satu daerah dengan komoditi unggulan dari desa tersebut yaitu hasil pertanian. Rata-rata penduduk Desa Peresak Narmada memiliki mata pencaharian sebagai petani dan pekebun, dengan komoditi utama dari hasil pertanian yaitu padi dan hasil perkebunana yakni buah-buahan dengan komoditi utama yaitu manggis dan durian. Berdasarkan hasil Observasi dan survey dari beberapa petani di Desa Peresak rata- rata mereka hanya mengetahui tentang penggunaan bahan-bahan kimia dalam praktek pertanian yang sering mereka lakukan untuk membasmi berbagai hama pertanian atau perkebunan yang dimana hal tersebut dikhawatirkan akan memberikan dampak buruk kedepannya baik bagi kesehatan ataupun lingkungan, oleh karena itu tim dari KKN-PMD Desa Peresak mengadakan sosialisasi tentang bagaimana bentuk alternatif yang dapat dilakukan serta bagaimana proses pembuatan dari pestisida nabati tersebut guna untuk mengurangi penggunaan bahan kimia yakni dengan menggunakan berbagai bahan organik atau nabati yang dapat dengan mudah ditemukan di lingkungan sekitar terlebih lagi dengan kondisi desa Peresak yang subur dan kaya akan berbagai tanaman sehingga masyarakat dapat dengan mudah untuk menemukan bahan dan membuat pestisida alami sendiri dirumah.

Abstract

Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of community service activities carried out by universities. In the KKN activities carried out in Giri Madia Village, Lingsar District, West Lombok Regency, groups of students and lecturers of Mataram University carried out various activities with the main target of utilizing home yards by making palm seedling houses. The purpose of implementing this KKN activity is to answer the problem of the large amount of vacant land in the yard that is not used and not maintained in Giri Madia village. So the KKN group conducted mentoring activities in the utilization of home yards for making palm seedling houses. There are 6 methods of activities carried out, namely (1) observation, (2) socialization, (3) practice, (4) distribution of plant seeds, (5) monitoring, and (6) evaluation. The results of this activity are expected to increase the knowledge and skills of the Giri Madia Village community regarding the utilization of home yards so that the community can still apply it. The results of the above activities show that this KKN activity has been able to help problems in terms of the utilization of home yards that are not utilized as one of the lands to cultivate quality palm seeds because palm plants that grow wild make people reluctant to cultivate them, it is also expected that the knowledge and skills of the community can increase and the results can help the economy of the Giri Madia Village community.

Abstract

Oyster Mushroom (Pleurotus ostreatus) is one of the edible mushrooms which has potential in the food and health sector. Oyster mushroom has a texture similar to meat with a unique taste and soft taste, making oyster mushroom a popular food ingredient among consumers. In addition, oyster mushrooms are also rich in nutritional content, they contain protein belonging to vegetable protein, carbohydrates, fiber, B vitamins, vitamin D, minerals, and other bioactive compounds. In the world of food, oyster mushrooms can be processed into various preparations such as meatballs and nuggets. In Lembuak Village, most of the people only sell fresh oyster mushrooms without processing them first. The aim of this activity is to develop processed oyster mushrooms into long-lasting frozen food products. The method used in the activity consists of four stages, namely socialization, processing, packaging, and marketing. The development of processed oyster mushrooms deserves to be socialized to the public as a business opportunity. The result of the development of processed oyster mushroom products into meatballs and nuggets is to make participants understand the utilization and processing of oyster mushrooms into various preparations which can be used as business opportunities that can increase people's income, where previously the community only sold oyster mushrooms in fresh form without processing them first . So that with this activity it is hoped that it can improve the family economy in Lembuak Village, Narmada District, West Lombok Regency. In general, this activity can increase participants' knowledge and skills in processing oyster mushrooms into finished products such as meatballs and nuggets.
