Abstract

The creative economic empowerment proclaimed in the Cordova University thematic KKN work program in Tepas Village in collaboration with the PKK Tepas Berjaya further emphasizes strengthening the empowerment of housewives who are members of the Dasawisma group in the Moringa menu creation program and saving used cooking oil which is considered to be able to overcome household waste problems and can improve the economy and family welfare towards an independent village. The empowerment of women through Dasawisma has been carried out by the PKK in Tepas village since 2020, this is a form of PKK's concern and sensitivity for housewives who have been affected by the covid-19 pandemic. In its activities Dasawisma members are empowered to have skills in processing Moringa vegetables into several menus such as snacks or souvenirs and which have economic value which will later be marketed through online or offline markets. or delivered by the women of the Tepas village community to be saved in the form of money or exchanged for new cooking oil. The Tepas Village PKK plans to create 40 (forty) processed moringa menus that are ready to be marketed as well as an increase in the community to actively participate in these waste-consuming savings activities. The current problem is that the achievements of processed moringa are still far from the targets set out of the PKK in Tepas village program and used cooking oil has not yet been processed into goods of economic value, so based on this, Cordova University thematic KKN students initiated several menus of processed food/snacks and souvenirs from processing of moringa and utilization of used cooking oil to become souvenirs. Limited understanding of creativity, entrepreneurship and limited knowledge and care in the midst of society is also the basis for this service to be carried out. Activities carried out include counseling, initiation of new products, entrepreneurship assistance, collaboration and continued with joint practice. The result of this service activity is that Dasawisma members have knowledge about processing used cooking oil into goods of economic value such as liquid soap and aromatherapy candles and add to the processed moringa menu in the form of snacks and souvenirs in the form of kelor ecoprint, then increase the knowledge of Dasawisma members about entrepreneurship

Abstract

Desa Sekongkang Atas memiliki kekayaan potensi alam dan keanekaragaman hayati, termasuk lebah Trigona yang melimpah. Pengembangan produk madu Trigona ai Creta di desa ini tidak hanya akan memberikan sumber pendapatan tambahan bagi masyarakat setempat, tetapi juga membantu melindungi lingkungan dan keanekaragaman hayati. Di era globalisasi dan perkembangan teknologi yang semakin pesat, sektor pertanian dan industri pangan memegang peranan penting dalam meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Salah satu bahan baku yang sangat potensial untuk dikembangkan adalah madu Trigona ai Kleta yang diproduksi di Desa Sekongkang Atas. Madu Trigona ai Kleta adalah jenis madu yang dihasilkan oleh lebah Trigona atau disebut juga dengan lebah kranseng atau lebah karet. Keunikan dan keistimewaan madu ini tidak hanya terletak pada rasa dan manfaat kesehatannya, tetapi juga pada proses pembuatannya yang melibatkan lebah madu Trigona, lebah asli Indonesia.

Abstract

Dadap Village has tourism potential that is still not well known by the wider community. Several contributing factors are that tourism in Dadap village has not been utilized properly, the location of the village is far from the city, and the lack of awareness of the local community about the potential of the village. Apart from that, Dadap village is a new village resulting from the division of Sugian village so that many outsiders are not familiar with the existence of Dadap village, including the tours in Dadap village. The purpose of this service is to introduce and empower tourism, especially Dadap beach, and also empower the community. By adding tourist facilities and making people aware of the importance of maintaining tourist destinations. The method of activity through the main work program carried out by KKN students in Dadap village is making directions for tourist sites, making trash cans, making photo spots in tourist areas, and tourism branding. Then for additional work programs, namely teaching the Koran, gymnastics, mutual cooperation, posyandu, and socializing the protection of tourism laws. The results of the activities during the KKN are the implementation of all the work programs that have been prepared. KKN students have made directions to three beaches, namely Dadap beach, Kubur Butun beach, and Ujung beach. Apart from that, KKN students were also able to set up beautiful photo spots on Dadap beach in the form of a gate with the words ‘Beach Desa Dadap’ which are exposed to match the blue sky. KKN students also carry out mutual cooperation on the beach and invite the community to keep the beach clean. To make things easier for the community, KKN students made trash bins along with holes for garbage disposal on Dadap beach. Broadly speaking, KKN students have achieved their goals.

Abstract

Pengabdian Masyarakat di Desa Ai Kangkung bertujuan untuk mengembangkan produk olahan perikanan Desa Ai Kangkung, Kecamatan Sekongkang, Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Salah satu potensi desa yang dimiliki oleh Desa Ai Kangkung adalah bidang perikanan. Produk olahan perikanan yang dikembangkan oleh mahasiswa KKN Universitas Cordova di Ai Kangkung adalah Keripik Ikan dan Stik Ikan. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat yaitu observasi, riset produk, formulasi produk dan pelatihan pengolahan produk perikanan. Pelatihan pengolahan produk perikanan mampu menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat Desa Ai Kangkung dan dengan dihasilkannya produk maka Desa Ai Kangkung dapat memiliki produk unggulan. Pelatihan pengolahan produk perikanan yang diberikan kepada masyarakat memberikan dampak perubahan pola ekonomi masyarakat. Produk olahan perikanan menjadi keripik ikan dan stik ikan mampu meningkatkan perekonomian masyarakat. Program dari pengabdian ini mendapat apresiasi yang baik dari Pemerintah Desa dan Masyarakat Desa Ai kangkung karena telah memberikan dampak yang positif kepada masyarakat dalam pengolahan produk perikanan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi.

Abstract

Educational institutions such as universities also play a role in disaster mitigation efforts. Universities that have the Tridharma of Higher Education play a role in formulating problem solving related to problems faced by society, especially those related to natural disasters. This service focuses on understanding and active community participation in disaster mitigation strategies, including the socialization process and practical implementation. A series of activities have been carried out, namely socialization and implementation of disaster mitigation which was carried out at the village office. The socialization activities carried out during the implementation of this KKN have increased the knowledge of the Senggigi Village community regarding disaster mitigation and increased their preparedness to face them. The results show that the integration of socialization and implementation of disaster mitigation can significantly increase community preparedness for potential disasters in the region. The implications of these findings can be the basis for further policy and program improvements in building community resilience to disaster risk.

Abstract

The geographical location and conditions in Peresak Village are the main factors that cause potential natural disasters. If you look at the area where many rivers flow (river catchment areas) and there are highlands at a number of points, there are potential disasters such as floods and landslides that can occur at any time. Reflecting on the existing potential, knowledge regarding disaster risk mitigation or management is very necessary to be provided to the Peresak Village community so that they can fully understand the conditions of the area where they live and be able to take appropriate action in the context of disaster response. The method of implementing service is the observation and lecture method. This service is also guided by the PKM approach to Participatory Action Research (PAR). The service work program that has been carried out includes socializing disaster management, reforestation, cleaning, and making plans for evacuation routes, gathering points, and tourist routes.

Abstract

Pendidikan Konservasi merupakan sebuah proses pembelajaran untuk membangun spirit kepedulian terhadap lingkungan sekitar. Kurangnya kesadaran masyarakat akan keberadaan kawasan konservasi menyebabkan rasa kurang peduli masyarakat akan menjaga kawasan konservasi. Prinsip konservasi sangat penting untuk dipahami oleh masyarakat yang berada di daerah sekitar kawasan konservasi. Sebagai contoh adalah masyarakat di Dusun Kerandangan yang berada di sekitar taman Wisata Alam Kerandangan. Berdasarkan permasalahan di atas dibutuhkan kegiatan untuk meningkatkan kesadaran Masyarakat tentang pentingnya konservasi. Salah satunya dengan sosialisasi mengenai Pendidikan konservasi di madrasah di sekitar Kawasan hutan (TWA Kerandangan) yang bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan kesadaran konservasi sejak dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah pra kegiatan, kegiatan sosialisasi, mengajar di sekolah dan evaluasi. Sasaran dalam kegiatan ini adalah siswa dan guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI) Riyadhul Wardiyah. MI Rayadhul Wardiyah. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini diikuti oleh siswa dan guru Mi Riyadhul Wardiah sebanyak 15 siswa kelas 4 dan 5 serta 3 orang guru. Pendidikan dan penyuluhan konservasi ini dapat meingkatkan pengetahuan siswa dan guru mengenai pentingnya pendidikan konservasi.
