Abstract

Creative economy empowerment for the community is needed to solve problems, especially in the aspect of abundant harvests. Creative economy is local-based economic development carried out by increasing the selling value of local products so as to increase community income. Therefore, we motivate the community to be able to utilize the harvest into creativity that aims to provide opportunities, development, and development of life welfare, create jobs and independence in building a decent and sufficient life and utilize the potential of the village from abundant harvests to improve the economy. The method used is community-oriented with an approach in development that can realize the order of social life where the actors and determinants of development are the community itself. Based on the research found, we and the community have a decision to make better use of the harvest to improve the quality of life. Creative economy community empowerment aims to provide opportunities for development and development of life welfare, the creation of employment and independence in building a decent and sufficient life and utilizing the potential of abundant harvests to improve the economy of rural communities.

Abstract

Fish potential can be used as one of the foods. This aims to train the community to process fish catches into value-added products, namely fish crackers. Fish crackers, dried snacks made from catambak fish meat, tapioca flour, garlic and flavorings are not widely known by the public. Therefore, we make and introduce the catambak fish cracker product to the public in order to gain popularity because of its enjoyment and delicacy. The inclusion of catambak fish in this business has considerable potential, given its high protein content and economic significance.

Abstract

University of Mataram Real Work Lecture on Village Community Empowerment (KKN-PMD) with the theme "Preneur Village" which was held for 54 days in Suela Village, Suela District, West Lombok Regency which started from 12 June 2023 to 12 August 2023 aiming to help MSMEs in obtaining business licenses, namely Business Identification Number (NIB) and Home. Industry Food Production Certificate (SPP-IRT). Most of the MSMEs in Suela Village do not have legal business licenses, as it is known that MSMEs themselves play a very important role for the economy of Suela Village. The increasing participation of the community in the MSME field has led to an increase in the number of MSME actors in Suela Village. However, with the lack of knowledge about business legality and licensing, many MSMEs do not have business licenses such as Business Identification Numbers (NIB) and Home Industry Food Production Certificates (SPP-IRT). The method used to overcome these problems is to carry out observations and surveys as well as data collection on MSMEs in each hamlet, register business licenses, and carry out outreach to the community. University of Mataram KKN-PMD students assist rural MSMEs in issuing their business permits through Online Single Submission (OSS) and provide understanding related to the importance of legality in doing business and product marketing through socialization held by KKN-PMD University of Mataram students for the continued development of MSMEs in the Village Suela.

Abstract

Labuhan Haji Village has a potential tourist destination. Labuhan Haji Beach has a tourist attraction because around Labuhan Haji beach it not only provides beautiful views but there are mostly grilled fish sellers, food stalls and cafes managed by investors. The problem with the Labuhan Haji beach tourism destination is that they don't have access to markers or directions to tourist sites in Labuhan Haji, especially for new visitors to the area. Directional signs and bulletin boards are very important to show directions and locations in a tourist destination area, as a guide to tourist locations. The absence of direction signs and bulletin boards makes it difficult to find tourist destinations in the village of Labuhan Haji. This Village Community Empowerment Real Work Lecture activity aims to design, manufacture, and install signboards and bulletin boards. The construction of direction boards and bulletin boards consists of poles, plate boards, writing and banners. The pole is designed to be made of iron as high as 2.5 meters. Directional signs are designed to be 60 cm long, 12 cm wide and 0.8 mm thick, made of iron plate. Writing is designed with computer software and made by cutting method and then given a white pilox. While the bulletin board is designed to be made of iron as high as 3 meters and the plate board is designed to be 100 cm long, 70 cm wide and 0.8 mm thick. Iron pole and plate board are welded into one piece with arrow shape. Work on direction signs and bulletin boards includes cutting, welding, sanding, painting, pasting writing, spraying pilox, removing writing residue, excavation and installation.

Abstract

Kemiri (Aleurites Moluccana) is a plantation commodity that has the potential to be well developed. This is strongly influenced by the candlenut market which is increasingly open due to the increasing demand for candlenut consumption, both domestically and abroad. The candlenut plant has many benefits, such as being used by people to grow hair, heal skin wounds, diarrhea, asthma and increase analgesic effects. However, the part of the plant that has high economic value is the candlenut seed. The method of implementing activities used to improve the quality of community products in hazelnut oil production uses three methods, namely processing, manufacture or design of packaging and packaging, and marketing. The results of the implementation of community empowerment practical work courses that have been carried out by KKN students in Selengan village try to participate in helping develop candlenut oil products to improve the quality of community products as a source of income in Selengen village.

Abstract

The university engages in community service activities (KKN). In the village of Senaru, Bayan Subdistrict, North Lombok Regency, a group of students carried out various real work activities as part of the program, including the implementation of the Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) aimed at reducing the incidence of stunting in Senaru Village. Senaru Village has 81 stunted children due to their poor health status. Stunting is a form of malnutrition caused by insufficient food intake over an extended period, resulting in nutritional deficiencies. The objective of this activity is to raise awareness among the community about the importance of nutrition for children and to provide SFP as a tangible measure to reduce the risk of stunting in Senaru Village. This activity was conducted through Focus Group Discussions involving stakeholders in Senaru Village, such as the Mother's Empowerment and Family Welfare Movement (PKK) and the Village Health Team. Additionally, there were awareness campaigns and training sessions for creating various processed SFP menus using eggs. The outcomes of this activity include an increased understanding within the community regarding the significance of nutrition for children and a decrease in the stunting rate, decreasing from an initial 81 stunted children to 71. The reduction in stunting is attributed to the intensive provision of SFP over a span of 31 days. As a result, it is anticipated that this program will contribute to reducing the stunting rate in Senaru Village and ultimately lead to a Stunting-Free Senaru Village. The Supplementary Feeding Program (SFP) has proven effective in decreasing stunting rates among toddlers.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan ini bertujuan memberi pendampingan dan penyuluhan kepada masyarakat desa Mujahiddin dalam memanfaatkan potensi yang dimiliki desa salah satunya asam. Hasil pertanian dan perkebunan biasanya dikonsumsi sendiri sebagai bahan bumbumasakan dan dijual mentah tanpa diolah terlebih dahulu. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada bulan Agustus 2023 dengan program pemberdayaan masyarakat desa Mujahiddin dengan pengolahan asam menjadi permen asam manis yang di beri nama gulam candy khas desa Mujahiddin. Metode yang digunakan pada kegiatan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (PKM) yaitu persiapan dan observasi, riset dan formulasi produk, pelatihan dan pengembangan. mampu menambah pengetahuan, keterampilan masyarakat Desa Mujahiddin serta dapat menambah nilai ekonomis yang tinggi dari potensi asam yang ada. Hal tersebut terlihat dari adanya perubahan pola ekonomi masyarakat, yang semula hanya memasarkan dan menjual pada pasar tradisional, dengan adanya olahan asam menjadi permen asam manis, perekonomian masyarakat dapat ditingkatkan, bukan hanya pada masyarakat sekitar saja, namun pada khalayak masyarakat luas. Hasil dari kegiatan ini sangat di apresiasi oleh pemerintah desa Mujahiddin karena telah memberikan inovasi kepada masyarakat dalam pengolahan asam yang memiliki nilai ekonomis tinggi.

Abstract

Desa Tamekan adalah salah satu pengahasil Kacang Tanah terbesar di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat. Hasil panen petani kacang selalu berlimpah mencapai dua kali panen dalam setahun dengan total luas lahan sekitar 7 ha dan hasil panen 11 ton per tahun. Meskipun demikian, selama ini para petani masih menjual kacang dalam bentuk mentah dan harga yang sangat rendah. Masyarakat setempat juga belum memanfaatkan ketersediaan kacang untuk diolah dalam bentuk produk pangan lainnya yang menjanjikan peluang usaha. Oleh karena itu, kelompok mahasiswa KKN Universitas Cordova mengadakan kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan terhadap petani kacang dan ibu-ibu PKK dalam mengolah kacang tanah menjadi produk olahan unggulan Desa Tamekan yang siap untuk dipasarkan. Melalui kegiatan tersebut, pengetahuan dan keterampilan masyarakat dalam menghasilkan produk dari kacang meningkat secara signifikan. Adapun hasil olahan kacang tanah yang berhasil di produksi adalah kacang kribo dan kacang salut dan saat ini produk tersebut sudah dipasarkan di beberapa toko di Kabupaten Sumbawa Barat salah satunya di KSB Mall

Abstract

Desa Sedau merupakan salah satu desa yang terletak di Kabupaten Lombok Barat, yang menjadi tempat KKN-PMD kami, dengan tema Desa Preneur. Disini kami harus memberdayakan masyarakat dengan membuatkan suatu produk yang kedepannya dapat membantu masyarakat dalam berwirausaha. Berdasarkan survei dan diskusi yang kami lakukan dengan Kepala Desa dan Warga Sedau, kami menemunakan bahwa buah yang cukup banyak dihasilkan di desa ini adalah buah pepaya. Oleh karena itu, kami melakukan pemberdayaan terhadap masyarakat di Desa Sedau melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan pembuatan manisan papaya. Metode yang kami gunakan dalam pengabdian ini adalah diskusi, sosialisasi, dan pelatihan. Melalui pemberdayaan ini kami berharap akan membawa dampak baik bagi Desa Sedau, baik dari segi keterampilan masyarakat dalam berinovasi dan berusaha maupun dari segi ekonomi.

Abstract

Artikel ini berfokus pada kelas lintas budaya Universitas Mataram sebagai agen pemahaman budaya dan kolaborasi antara Indonesia dan Korea Selatan. Pemberdayaan yang dilakukan terhadap masyarakat sekitar Universitas Mataram bertujuan untuk memberikan kemudahan dan kesempatan bagi masyarakat yang membutuhkan untuk menggapai dan mewujudkan aspirasinya. Dengan menyoroti kursus "Dasar Bahasa Korea", "Pariwisata Korea", "EPS-TOPIK Korea", dan "Bisnis Digital", studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana kelas-kelas ini menumbuhkan keharmonisan global dengan memfasilitasi koneksi mendalam dan berbagi pengetahuan. Dikembangkan secara kolaboratif oleh Universitas Mataram, Universitas Nasional Seoul, dan Universitas Nasional, kelas-kelas ini menunjukkan kekuatan kemitraan akademis dalam meningkatkan kesadaran dan apresiasi lintas budaya.
