ASWALALITA Journal of Dawah Management is an academic peer reviewed journal published by the Department of Dawah Management IAINU Tuban Indonesia The journal is dedicated to advancing the study and practice of Islamic propagation (dawah) with a distinctive focus on management strategies that are rooted in the socio cultural realities of Indonesian Muslim communities What sets ASWALALITA apart is its emphasis on integrating Islamic values with local wisdom community based empowerment, and the management of dawah activities in rural pesantren based and traditional religious settings contexts that are often underrepresented in global scholarship. The journal explores a broad range of topics including strategic planning for Islamic institutions leadership and governance in dawah human and financial resource management digital media and communication strategies socio religious development, and the transformation of dawah practices in response to contemporary challenges. In addition to theoretical and empirical studies, ASWALALITA encourages articles that engage with participatory approaches, grassroots innovations and the unique dynamics of dakwah management within multicultural and pluralistic societies. The journal publishes original research papers, literature reviews, and conceptual articles in both English and Indonesian. It aims to contribute to global academic discourse while foregrounding the lived experiences and local models of Islamic propagation in Indonesia.

Abstract

Abstrak Dakwah menjadi media komunikasi dalam memperbaiki prilaku umat manusia untuk kembali kepada Al Quran dan Hadits. Melalui dakwah literasi yang disampaikan melalui media sosial diharapkan dapat mengkampanyekan kesadaran akan literasi dalam bermedia sosial. Semakin maraknya hoax dan informasi palsu yang berbedar menandakan kesadaran akan literasi masih cukup rendah di masyarakat. Maka diperlukan konten-konten berkonsep dakwah guna dapat mengatasi masalah tersebut yang secara tidak langsung dapat menjadi ajakan kepada masyarakat untuk sadar akan pentingnya literasi Kata kunci: Dakwah, Media Sosial, Hoaks, Literasi.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang bentuk Pendidikan Agama Islam, materi dan metode Pendidikan Agama Islam, efektivitas Pendidikan Agama Islam dan faktor pendukung dan kendala pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam bagi gelandangan dan pengemis di Panti Sosial Bina Karya Yogyakarta. Mengajarkan agama terhadap orang dewasa, khususnya kepada kaum gelandangan dan pengemis akan sangat lebih sulit, karena berbagai faktor, diantaranya faktor usia, kebiasaan melakukan apa saja demi bertahan hidup, dan mental jalanan yang bebas akan menjadi tantangan yang berat bagi Pendidik. Oleh karena itu diperlukan program, materi dan metode yang efektif untuk mencapai tujuan pendidikan agama Islam bagi gelandangan dan pengemis. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, yaitu melakukan riset yang berorientasi pada fenomena atau gejala yang bersifat alami. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dan untuk mengecek keabsahan data peneliti menggunakan trianggulasi sumber, yaitu mengecek balik derajat kepercayaan suatu informasi yang diperoleh melalui waktu yang berbeda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) Bentuk pendidikan Agama Islam terdiri dari bimbingan kegiatan keagamaan Islam yaitu sholat jama’ah, berdzikir, tahlil, dialog dan tausiah, mengikuti kegiatan keagamaan bersama warga kampung dan pembelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam di kelas. 2) Materi meliputi tentang ketentuan-ketentuan syari’at maupun katauhidan dan aqidah akhlak, sedangkan Metode yang digunakan adalah metode ceramah, metode Tanya jawab, metode demonstrasi dan metode simulasi. 3) Kesadaran beragama dan melaksanakan ibadah dalam kehidupan sehari-hari warga binaan sosial belum ada peningkatan yang signifikan. Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Islam, Gelandangan, Pengemis.

Abstract

Abstrak Tradisi merupakan suatu bentuk upacara tradisional yang dilakukan dikalangan masyarakat dan sudah menjadi budaya yang sulit untuk dihilangkan terutama bagi masyarakat khususnya di Jawa. Budaya yang dimiliki oleh manusia dapat berkembang seiring dengan perkembangan zaman. Budaya pada dasarnya merupakan hasil karya manusia, baik berbentuk nilai-nilai, aktivitas manusia dan benda. Islam dipercayai oleh pengikutnya sebagai agama yang universal, dapat diterapkan sesuai dengan situasi dan kondisi apapun. Dalam bentuk acara tradisi diantaranya adalah makna “bulan suro”, kenduri dan selamatan. Kenduri atau kenduren merupakan tradisi Jawa lama yang sampai saat ini masih dilestarikan oleh suku Jawa di mana saja mereka berada. Budaya kenduri merupakan bentuk ekspresi spiritual masyarakat Jawa dan sebagai ajang untuk lebih mendekatkan diri kepada Sang Pencipta. Kenduri yang dilakukan dalam tradisi masyarakat Jawa yang diniatkan sebagai sedekah dalam bentuk makan – makan setelah berdo’a dan bersyukur, sejalan dengan ajaran Nabi Muhammad SAW yang menganjurkan umatnya agar mau berbagi terhadap sesamanya dalam bentuk jamuan upacara adat. Sedangkan selamatan adalah sebuah tradisi ritual yang hingga saat ini juga masih tetap dilestarikan oleh sebagian masyarakat di Jawa salah satunya upacara adat ini dilakukan sebagai bentuk rasa syukur atas anugerah dan karunia yang diberikan oleh Allah. Kata Kunci : Budaya, Suroan, Kenduri, Selamatan.

Abstract

Abstract Javanese society is very thick with various traditions and cultures. Although in Java the majority of the population is Muslim, it cannot be denied that even in religion there is a Javanese cultural style that cannot be abandoned. The history of the process of meeting between religion and local culture is full of dynamics. Abstract

ABSTRACT The wiwitan tradition is a slametan tradition before the rice harvest arrives which is intended for the ancestors or ancestors. This ritual is carried out as a form of gratitude and thanks to the earth as a sikep, and Dewi Sri (Goddess of Rice) whom they believe is the goddess who grows rice. As well as an expression of the people's gratitude to the creator for giving such abundant results. This study aims to explain the meaning, purpose and meaning of the wiwitan tradition and understand the influence of modernization on the shift in the wiwitan tradition in Sumberagung Village, Plumpang District, Tuban Regency, and what factors distinguish the ancient wiwitan tradition from today. The method used in this study is a qualitative method, namely research by collecting various information or findings that cannot be obtained using statistical procedures or quantification methods.

Abstract

Abstract : The traditional da'wah style is not the same as the da'wah style in the digitalization era. The traditional style used to be preaching at the assembly (majlis ta'lim), but now it has penetrated into the field of digital technology. Judging from the walisongo era, the style of traditional preaching that was carried out was to approach it through culture and the arts to support the success of Islamization. The traditional da'wah style emphasized more on the condition of society at that time, because in the past people were categorized as ordinary people (kejawen), namely people who still adhered to old beliefs. traditional clothes by combining Islamic elements. Not only did the cultural approach in the traditional era also use an artistic approach in the media for preaching, for example the art of wayang, gamelan, tembang, grebeg and sekaten. In contrast to the era of digitalization, from style to media used, it is growing rapidly. The preachers are more creative and prioritize quality in preaching. many da'i utilize internet technology in preaching so that the preachers prioritize popularity in the eyes of mad'u.

Abstract

Abstrak: Di era serba digital ini tidak dapat dipungkiri bahwa media sosial telah menjangkau semua kalangan. Tanpa kita sadari, media sosial menjadi hal yang di prioritaskan. Baik untuk kepentingan dalam pencarian informasi, ide, atau bahkan yang paling utama adalah komunikasi. Namun dalam bermedia sosial hendaknya kita menggunakan etika yang baik dan benar. Sehingga tidak menimbulkan dampak negative yang dapat menyinggung atau menimbulkan ketidaknyamanan bagi pihak tertentu. Tulisan ini mengkaji tentang islam dan media sosial, media sosial sebagai alat komunikasi, serta etika komunikasi bermedia sosial dalam prespektif islam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif melalui study literature/ literature research yang menghimpun beberapa hal terkait pembahasan tersebut, kemudian penulis analisis, deskriptifkan serta menyimpulkan sebagai solusi dalam prespektif islam mengenai etika komunikasi bermedia sosial. Hasil dari penelitian ini ialah bahwa dalam berkomunikasi di media sosial kita perlu menerapkan etika-etika yang telah diajarkan dalam islam untuk menghindari dampak negative dari media sosial serta sebagai sarana dakwah pengajaran etika/ akhlaq secara tidak langsung.

Abstract

Abstract The language of religion is the language used in any religion. One of the main characteristics of religious language, as stated by Ramsey, is the commitment and religious moral response of the speaker, because language and religious expression are very complex, as complex as thoughts, feelings and human activities themselves. Humans try to describe everything around them with symbols, icons, or metaphorical expressions to make it easier for them to understand the natural surroundings and establish communication between humans. Not only trying to communicate with each other, humans also try to understand things that are metaphysical, such as God, holy books and also religious rituals. These three things are often summarized in a term, namely the language of religion. Religion which is abstract and metaphysical requires humans to start thinking about these things by expressing them through iconic language. Icons and symbols that are often used are symbols that are still related to things of the senses. This is deliberately done so that humans can understand existence that is abstract and cannot be reached by the senses to be easy to understand and acceptable. If this very complex religious language is related to Da'wah Islamiyah, it will become a new challenge in the world of Islamic da'wah. Islam as a religion that is moderate and highly upholds tolerance, is certainly easier to accept anything that is formulated by religious language, provided that it does not come out of the Al-Qur'an or As-Sunnah.

Abstract

Javanese Hindu traditions have been ingrained in the majority or even almost all circles of the people of the archipelago, especially the island of Java at the beginning of the spread of Islam in the archipelago. The condition of the community that is very close to the acculturation of local culture makes Sunan Bonang think hard to use his rationality in efforts to spread Islam. Rational which means a mindset where someone tends to behave and act based on logic and human reason, making Sunan Bonang, who is more often known as Maulana Makhdum Ibrahim, argues that Islamic teachings delivered and preached by force will not be able to flow Islamic breath in the souls of the community. Witing Tresno Jalaran soko kulino (love grows due to frequent interactions). If Islam can be well interacted with society, then gradually without realizing it, Islam can be in their hearts without violence and coercion. Islam is a religion that exists with peace, no coercion let alone violence as described in Q.S. Al-Baqarah 256. Therefore, cultural acculturation by incorporating Islamic breath in every culture and activity carried out by the community is clear evidence of the rationality of Sunan Bonang's thoughts in choosing the right da'wah strategy to be able to introduce Islam to the people of Java and Nusantara which at that time was very thick with its traditions.

Pesantren as representatives of institutions that foster the community, are expected to prepare a number of community development plans, as well as to improve the internal quality of Islamic boarding schools as well as to improve the external quality of the community. In order to carry out his da'wah to apply the teachings of amar ma'ruf and nahi munkar. Da'wah cadres or santri need to get coaching, guidance and counseling through traditional Islamic boarding schools which are fostered by a kyai and their ustadz, especially those relating to cognitive, psychomotor behaviors in terms of the process of teaching and learning activities such as the implementation of teaching practices, Bahtsul Masail activities, book deliberations, khitobah, sending students to the prayer room or mosque around The path of da'wah is very broad, long and unpredictable the difficulties in it. Therefore, the students or candidates who are recruited for da'wah who will pass this way should do a lot of things to get professionally prepared. Because the challenges in preaching are very broad, good da'wah management is needed. Da'wah management is a series of processes that run continuously in regulating or regulating da'wah activities so that they run according to plan and on target. The optimal achievement of da'wah goals can only be realized by organizing da'wah activities.
