Abstract

The current post-pandemic period has a significant impact on learning, particularly in Islamic religious education subjects. As a result, many students are less focused on attending lessons, their learning motivation and participation levels are decreasing, and their social intelligence is low because they are used to online learning, which has few face-to-face meetings. They are unable to adapt to the transition from previously online to hybrid learning methods. This study aimed to discover the Islamic religious education teachers' strategies for fostering and actualizing students' social intelligence in the post-pandemic period at MA AL-Hikmah Bandar Lampung. The research method employed was qualitative field research. The data collection techniques employed were interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis techniques employed were data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. Triangulation can be used to validate the data. The research findings revealed that in order to develop and actualize students' social intelligence, teachers employed cooperative and affective learning strategies that are implemented in four areas: methods, media, learning materials, and learning evaluation. Finally, fostering and actualizing students' social intelligence necessitates creative and innovative strategies to ensure proper development.

Abstract

This research aims to describe teachers' strategies for learning the Al-Qur'an online which began during the Covid-19 Pandemic for MI students in Lamongan, the obstacles they faced and their solutions, as well as analyzing the level of reading and writing skills of MI students in Lamongan. This research is descriptive qualitative field research. The research object is MIS in Lamongan, namely 5% of 240 MIS in 11 sub-districts in Lamongan, namely 12 MIS. The data collection technique uses interviews and documentation. The data analysis uses the Matthew B. Milles & Hubberman model which includes data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the research are, first, an online Al Qur'an learning strategy. At the preparation stage, the teacher prepares lesson plans with adjustments to material, time allocation, methods and media. At the implementation stage, some MIS are implemented fully online via social media, WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet and others. Second, obstacles to implementing learning include preparation obstacles, obstacles to Al-Quran learning methods, technical problems and facilities. Third, the competency and ability of the Al-Quran of MI students in Lamongan has decreased. If with offline learning the achievement of learning objectives can reach 80-95% of the target, then with online learning, the average achievement is below 80%.

Abstract

The development of scientific classification occurred gradually along with the development of science both in the West and in the Islamic world. This article aims to explore ideas about the classification of science based on Western and Islamic perspectives. This research is qualitative research with a library research method based on author searches sourced from several relevant books and journals. The research results confirm that the development of science creates dichotomization and antagonism of various branches of science in the Western view. However, from an Islamic perspective, forms of knowledge and various branches of knowledge are one unit, even though the development of science in Islam was influenced by scientists from Greece. Some of the figures quoted in this article include Comte, Popper, Kuhn, and Habermas. Meanwhile, Muslim scientists come from the opinions of al-Farabi, Ibn Sina, Ibn Khaldun, and several other Muslim scientists. While in classical times there were only large classifications, currently there are special notations with special numbering to classify science in detail. The classification of Islamic sciences carried out by Muslim scientists emphasizes that the scope of knowledge in Islam is very broad, covering worldly and everyday affairs. The limitation of science is that the development of science must be within the framework of monotheism within the framework of devotion to Allah, and for the benefit of humanity. The classification of science in the Western view tends to be more secular and materialistic, while the Islamic view offers a more holistic view that integrates the physical and spiritual aspects. Both approaches provide valuable insights and can complement each other in the effort to achieve a fuller and deeper understanding of the world and our place in it.

Abstract

The increasing phenomenon of childfree affects the views of Islamic religious education students regarding law, the function of marriage and children. This research explores the understanding of the childfree phenomenon from the perspective of students as potential perpetrators, supporters or opponents of childfree. This research is aim to find out their views on the meaning, response and role of Islamic education towards childfree. This research applies descriptive qualitative methods. The research results show that the definition of childfree is a situation of having a family without expecting the birth of children, delaying the birth of children, limiting the number of children and the situation of not being able to have children. Economic, social, psychological and health conditions are the causes of childfree. From the perspective of Islamic law, they agree that they will not accept childfree if the marriage is intentionally intended without expecting the presence of children, because it is contrary to their faith and the purpose of marriage. Regarding the role of Islamic education, the promotion of parental responsibility for children should be comparable to the promotion of children's obligations to be filial to their parents. Regarding their attitude towards childfree as a life choice, some stated that childfree is an individual choice that must be respected, but some rejected it because it was not following Islamic education.

Abstract

This paper attempts to present a learner friendly formula for calculation and distribution of heirs. The aim is to acquaint teachers, students, emerging judges and lawyers, as well as, other legal practitioners with an easier and simpler formular inorder to allay fears and difficulties with which other formulae are mostly identified. The research method used in this article is descriptive, with the main approach based on document or context analysis. The author bases his study on primary sources relevant to the science of Mirath (Islamic inheritance system), both in print, electronic, and online forms.This research is to simplify the process of calculating and distributing inheritance in the Islamic inheritance system through a more learner-friendly approach. The proposed new approach shows that by mastering basic principles such as derackionalization and fractional denomination management, inheritance distribution can become simpler and more accurate. These findings not only help teachers and students of Islamic religious sciences, but also practitioners of sharia law to avoid mistakes and strengthen social justice according to Islamic principles.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the role of parental attention on students' morals at MI AR-Rahman Parengan Jetis Mojokerto. This research uses a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used in this research include observation, interviews and documentation. This research uses qualitative data analysis which consists of three stages, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion or verification. The results of this research found a diversity of morals in students which was influenced by the role of parental attention in developing their children's morals. Based on research results, the majority of children who have madzmumah morals are influenced by the lack of attention from their parents, they tend to carry out despicable morals due to the lack of parental direction in developing children's morals in everyday life, so when they do despicable morals they think This is a natural thing and to get attention from the surrounding environment. This is very different from children who receive the role of attention from their parents. They tend to have morals because they receive the role of parental attention and direction in having morals in everyday life.

Abstract

This research aims to reveal the role of Al Habib Hayqal bin Husein Alaydrus' communication in increasing the love of Rubath Adzikra Lilmu'minin students for the Prophet Muhammad SAW. This research uses a qualitative approach with a focus on the communication phenomenon between Al Habib Hayqal bin Husein Alaydrus and the student Rubat Adzikra Lilmu'minin. The research method involved collecting data through participant observation, in-depth interviews with Al Habib Hayqal and several Rubath Adzikra students, as well as content analysis of cults and lectures delivered by Al Habib Hayqal. The collected data was analyzed to identify the communication strategies, the messages conveyed, and the students' responses and perceptions of the communication. The results of this research are 1) The communication strategy used by Al Habib Hayqal Alaydrus in increasing students' love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW is using language that is easy to understand and relevant to the audience (students); strengthening Islamic values ​​and love for the Prophet; creating an emotional climate that supports spiritual bonds. 2) The impact of the communication strategy used by Al Habib Hayqal Alaydrus in increasing students' love for the Prophet Muhammad SAW is effective in building and strengthening spiritual ties with the Prophet; delivering religious messages in a structured and emotional manner has a positive impact on students; and increasing the students' sense of love and devotion towards the Prophet Muhammad SAW.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of social studies learning carried out in a differentiated manner, the implementation process and its impact on students. The researcher will explore data on whether or not this differentiated learning model will be a solution in developing independent learning in implementing differentiated learning for students of MTs. Wachid Hasyim Surabaya with various student needs. The qualitative method was chosen to obtain in-depth data on the implementation of differentiated learning and its relevance to the merdeka curriculum. Meanwhile, the case study was chosen because it describes the phenomenon of differentiated learning innovation by referring to the school that is the focus of the research. From two sources of Islamic teachings related to muamalah matters. The verses about worship and the verses about social life are one in a hundred. For one verse of worship there are one hundred verses of muamalah. Likewise in the hadith books. Of the twenty volumes of Fath al-Bari: Syarah Sahih Bukhari, only four volumes deal with matters of worship. This shows the importance of the personality values of students taught in differentiated learning. Differentiated learning in social studies subjects applied at MTs. Wachid Hasyim Surabaya has had a positive impact on students and teachers. The application of differentiated learning carried out by social studies teachers uses three stages, namely 1) differentiation of content applied in mapping student interests, 2) differentiation of the process. Researchers see that in implementing differentiation learning, teachers are still confused about the concept of proper process differentiation

Abstract

This research aims to find out the government's policy on a full-day school in shaping the character of students in Islamic Education institutions, namely how the history of the full-day school policy is determined, how the implementation of the full-day school policy and how the implications of the creation of the full day school policy. This research is a type of library research that is centered on the study of some literature related to the issues discussed such as Permendikbud No. 23 of 2017, the results of research on Full Day School and the regulation. The result of this study is that the full-day school policy has been implemented simultaneously in 2017. The Minister of Education and Culture launched the full-day school policy through the authority of Permendikbud No. 23 of 2017 concerning school days, then followed by Presidential Regulation No. 87 of 2017 concerning character education. The implementation of the full-day school policy in shaping the character of students requires structured management, such as good planning, curriculum innovation, excellent programs, and extracurricular activities. The positive implications of the full-day school policy can shape the character of students, but it cannot be denied that there are negative implications that cause a lack of student interaction with family and society, causing boredom if learning is not innovative and interactive. The negative impact of the full-day school policy also has an impact on teacher work discipline. Therefore, the implementation of full-day schools needs regular evaluation to produce quality education and generation.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an in-depth insight into leadership styles and models in Islamic education, and to analyze the application of various leadership styles such as democratic, authoritarian, charismatic, and laissez-faire in Islamic educational institutions. The research methodology employed was a Systematic Literature Review, gathering and analyzing data from books, journals, articles, and other relevant literature sources. The findings indicate that the democratic leadership style is preferred in Islamic education for its support of consultation and participation. Conversely, the authoritarian style is often applied in traditional Islamic boarding schools to maintain discipline. Charismatic leadership can enhance morale and commitment but carries the risk of dependency on a single figure. The laissez-faire style is rarely applied due to its potential for lack of direction and control. The study suggests that a combination of various leadership styles can create an effective and harmonious educational environment.
