Abstract

This study explores the integration of Islamic educational ethics in Arabic language learning, highlighting essential ethical values for both teachers and students. Through a qualitative library research approach this article aims to understand 2 things. First, how the concept of educational ethics in the Islamic view; and second, how to integrate the concept of educational ethics in the Islamic view with Arabic language learning. Data is obtained through in-depth literacy studies on literature sources in the form of books and scientific articles related to ethical theory in Islam and Islamic education. The resulting data is then analyzed with data condensation, then presenting the data, and finally drawing conclusions. From the results of the literature review conducted, it was found that in the learning process, Islam regulates ethical aspects that must be applied primarily by students and teachers in the teaching and learning process in the classroom such as first, in terms of students: (1) Respect for the teacher; (2) Confident in the teacher's knowledge; (3) Tawadhu'; (4) Patience; (5) Obey; (6) Patience and Tenacity; (7) Sincerity in seeking knowledge; (8) Position the teacher as an example; and second, in terms’s of teacher: (1) Teaching with the sincere intention of seeking the pleasure of Allah; (2) Intend to spread knowledge; (3) Uphold the truth and broadcast falsehood; (4) Always pray for his disciples; (5) Use language that is easy for students to digest; (6) Show concern for each student; (7) Be well-groomed and purify first; (8) Get used to prayer when starting learning; (9) Reflect at the end of each lesson; (10) Carry out evaluations authentically; (11) Position oneself as an example that can be emulated by his students. The integration of all these points in Arabic language learning shows a close and crucial relationship in an effort to bring fun, quality, and meaningful learning for students.

Abstract

This research aims to ascertain the significance of the Islamic ethical message conveyed in the film "Insya Allah Sah" directed by Benni Setiawan, distinguished by both verbal and nonverbal communication. The film is a medium that can be utilized for academic purposes, as the act of spreading religious teachings in this contemporary day is not limited to traditional preaching methods. Movies can benefit viewers, notably by imparting moral lessons encompassing education, culture, and other ethical values. "Insha Allah Sah" is a captivating comedic drama film that warrants investigation due to its exploration of Islamic ethical teachings, particularly about marriage and commitments. The study methodology employed is qualitative research utilizing content analysis techniques. This research methodology pertains to Roland Barthes' semiotic theory, which places emphasis on the examination of the signs present in films, encompassing both linguistic and non-linguistic elements. Data was gathered by firsthand observation of films and examination of conversation, scenes, and symbols depicted in the films. The employed methodology for data analysis is semiotic analysis, which involves the interpretation of each sign present in the film to uncover its underlying meaning. The research findings indicate the presence of many indications of da'wah messages in the film "Insya Allah Sah," encompassing aqidah (religious beliefs), sharia (Islamic law), and morals. The film effectively communicates these concepts through a combination of character speech, visual symbolism, and scenarios that portray Islamic principles. Hence, the movie "Insya Allah Sah" serves as both a source of entertainment and a means of imparting Islamic moral values to its viewers, thereby serving as an impactful platform for preaching in contemporary times.

Abstract

This study seeks to investigate the impact of the editor-in-chief of LPM Dinamika UIN SU's interpersonal communication on enhancing students' writing originality. The research employed a qualitative method with a qualitative descriptive approach. The researchers at the LPM Dinamika UIN SU secretariat collected data by conducting interviews and participant observation. Data analysis techniques encompass the processes of gathering data, condensing data, presenting data, and deriving conclusions. The research findings demonstrate that the editor-in-chief's interpersonal communication with members plays a significant impact in encouraging and motivating them to enhance their writing originality. The editor-in-chief offers training, disseminates the most up-to-date material, and expresses recognition to members who demonstrate exceptional performance. In addition, social media serves as a significant source of knowledge and a valuable tool for learning. The research findings indicate that the combination of excellent interpersonal communication, environmental support, and utilization of social media can greatly enhance the writing creativity of those involved in campus journalism organizations.

Abstract

Islamic education faces several opportunities and challenges in the current era of globalization and digitalization. As a preparatory effort to take advantage of opportunities and overcome existing obstacles, Islamic education needs to adopt the concept of moderation promoted by Haedar Nashir, namely upholding moderate Islamic norms. Thus, this research aims to analyze and describe Haedar Nashir's views on the concept of moderation and the implications of moderation for the concept of progressive Islamic education. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach using a literature study. According to Haedar Nashir's perspective, this study's results show that religious moderation is creating and bridging diversity to strengthen tolerant attitudes between religious communities. Religious moderation does not mean eliminating the value of faith, but developing a more open perspective. Second, the implication of religious moderation for progressive Islamic education, according to Haedar Nashir, is an effort to produce modern, intelligent, and devout human resources. Haedar Nashir also emphasized the urgency of human values, justice, and balance in progressive Islamic education.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the Village Apparatus's communication strategy to increase community participation in the development of Batugana Village, Padang Bolak Julu District, North Padang Lawas Regency. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive qualitative approach. This research was conducted in Batugana village, Padang Bolak Julu District, North Padang Lawas Regency. The data collection techniques used in this research were primary and secondary data. This research uses theory. The theory used is campaign communication theory. In campaign communication theory, communication activities are carried out to impact a relatively large number of audiences, over a certain period, and through a series of organized communication activities. And the results of this research are the strategies used by village officials to increase community participation, namely by using a participatory approach and a holistic approach. This development planning approach is suitable for building irrigation canals that will irrigate community rice fields. The steps used in the communication strategy include getting to know the community closely, compiling material or discussion topics, and developing methods and objectives that village officials want to carry out in carrying out the communication strategy.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of sholawat music as a method of da'wah among Generation Z at the Istiqlal Delitua Education Foundation. Generation Z, born between 1997 and 2012, is known to have grown up in the digital era and has a preference for media that is relevant to their daily lives. Sholawat music, which combines Islamic values ​​with touching melodies, has great potential as an effective da'wah tool. This study used a mixed method, namely a qualitative and quantitative approach. Qualitative data were obtained through in-depth interviews with students and teachers at the Istiqlal Delitua Foundation, while quantitative data were collected through a survey that measured students' understanding, emotional responses, and behavioral changes towards sholawat music. The results showed that most students showed a high interest in sholawat music, which was considered pleasant and calming. As many as 85% of respondents said they enjoyed listening to sholawat music, 78% felt that sholawat music helped them understand Islamic teachings better, and 72% experienced positive changes in their daily behavior after regularly listening to sholawat music. In addition, 69% of respondents felt more motivated to participate in social and religious activities after listening to sholawat music. The study results showed that sholawat music's effectiveness as a medium of da'wah reached an effectiveness level of 93%, indicating a very effective category.

Abstract

This research aims to describe using electronic media to improve students' understanding, especially in learning Islamic Cultural History. The method used in this research is the descriptive qualitative method, which is a technique used in data collection through observation, interviews, and documentation. To determine the validity of the data, researchers triangulated data sources to check data and compare data. The results showed that the implementation of LED TV electronic media in the learning process of Islamic Cultural History uses two features, namely visual and audiovisual. In the implementation process, the presentation of material through PowerPoint, video content, movies, pictures, and others. In addition to audiovisual viewing, teaching staff also conduct short discussions which are carried out as a form of strengthening students' memory of learning material. By utilizing this electronic media, teachers can provide a more real understanding to students and be able to improve students' memory.

Abstract

Instagram has become a strategic platform for preachers to reach a wider audience. One of the da'wah influencers on Instagram media is @Hawaariyyun, he is famous for his preaching content in spreading Islam on Instagram social media. However, during competition, da'wah needs to be packaged persuasively to attract attention and interest and be accepted by the audience. This article analyzes the persuasive da'wah strategy used by the Instagram account @Hawaariyyun using four methods: Association, Integration, Pay-off, and Icing. This research aims to identify and implement these methods in the content of da'wah and their influence on mad'u. This research shows that Hawaariyyun effectively uses this method to build emotional connections, increase credibility, and motivate the audience to accept the da'wah message.

Abstract

The research aims to see to what extent giving punishment from Imam Al-Ghazali's perspective can influence student learning outcomes, and the relevance of giving punishment in the modern era. The research method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach based on observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research show that the application of Al-Ghazali's theory regarding punishment has been used indirectly, although this theory is not yet fully understood by educators at SMA N 3 Sungai Full. The punishment given is following the principles taught by Al-Ghazali. The punishment applied has been proven to be able to increase the learning motivation of most students, although there are challenges such as the helplessness of punishment in some cases. This research concludes that punishment in education needs to be applied wisely and that the principles of Islamic education must be followed to affect student development positively.

Abstract

This article is a simple effort to reveal the understanding of Shafi'i scholars on hadith, starting from the study of the framework placed by Imam Shafi'i in his madhab, specifically in the study of hadith. This is important considering that apart from the fact that the Shafi'i madhab is the madhab with the largest followers, it also cannot be separated from the figure of Imam Shafi'i as the founder of the madhab which is said to be nicknamed nashir al-sunnah. The method used in uncovering the above is through tracing and studying various literature with documentation techniques, using descriptive and comparative data analysis. The result is that the study of hadith among Shafi'I scholars cannot be separated from the framework laid down by Imam Shafi'I who is very accommodating to hadith, and open. This is reflected in his acceptance of the hadith of Sunday or khabar al-wahid in the term Shafi'i, as well as the problem-solving that he offers when there is a contradiction between the hadiths, where al jam'u, naskh, and tarjih before finally being perfected with tawaqquf become a concrete solution to sit the hadith as a source of law that must be accepted and should not be wasted.
