Abstract

The low level of early reading skills is the background of why this research was conducted, so this study aims to improve early reading skills through the letter card game method in group B of Theresia I Pangkalpinang Kindergarten. This study used the subject of group B students of Theresia I Kindergarten totaling 18 people. The object of research focuses on improving the ability to read beginning through the method of playing letter cards. The data collection method used checklist observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that there was an increase in early reading skills by 22.2% at the end of cycle I and at the end of cycle II an increase of 49.9%. This improvement in early reading skills can be seen from students being able to read pictures, being able to point and point to the letter symbols requested, being able to read simple words and sound the letters in the word, being able to connect pictures with words, being able to arrange letters into meaningful words and, being able to group vowels and consonants. The implementation steps used to improve students' beginning reading skills are by using group competition games, the teacher provides an explanation of the alphabet, and giving verbal awards and applause to the winning group. Abstract

In modern life, students' mastery of written language is very necessary. The reality in the field of writing learning in schools is inadequate due to one of the reasons being the delivery of material which still uses monotonous media. The aim of this research is to improve descriptive text writing skills using audio-visual learning media for Class VII UPTD students at SMPN 4, Guguak District. The method used in this research is Action Research which consists of 2 (two) cycles, and each cycle consists of: Planning, Implementation, Observation and reflection. Based on the results of action research, learning to write descriptive texts using audio-visual learning media can improve the descriptive text writing skills of students in Class VII UPTD SMPN 4 Guguak District. The results of the research show that the writing ability of class VII UPTD SMPN 4 students in Guguak sub-district at the beginning after applying audio-visual learning media in English lessons obtained a KM of 50%. In cycle 1 the KM was 71.4%, and in cycle II the highest score was 100%. Audio-visual learning media in student learning focuses more on the process until students discover the concept, which allows students to investigate for themselves various things which are then useful for students' intellectual and mental development. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bhakti Pertiwi Kindergarten, Kampar Regency. For this reason, a concrete application is needed to be able to find the right way regarding children's fine motor skills, namely the application of the drawing Drill method. This type of research is classroom action research which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately created and occur in a class together with a total of 15 children consisting of 7 boys and 8 girls. . Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, the conclusion regarding the results of this research is that the application of the drawing Drill method can improve the fine motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at Bhakti Pertiwi Kindergarten, Kampar Regency. Children's fine motor skills can be seen from the Precycle, which is in the "Not Developed" criteria, namely 9 children or 75%. After the action in cycle I, namely through the drawing Drill method, there was an increase, namely reducing to 1 child or 8.33%. The "Starting to Develop" criteria increased from Precycle 3 children or 25% to 3 children or 25% and increased again in cycle II to 1 child or 8.33%. In the "Developing According to Expectations" criterion, there was not a single child in this criterion, increasing to 8 children or 66.67% and increasing again in cycle II to 1 child or 8.33%. For this reason, a concrete application is needed to be able to find the right way to relate to children's early reading abilities, namely the application of word connection games. This type of research is classroom action research which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately created and occur in a class together with a total of 12 children consisting of 6 boys and 6 girls. . Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, a conclusion was drawn regarding the results of this research, namely that through the application of word connection games, it can improve the early reading skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Bhakti Pertiwi, Kampar Regency. The early reading ability of children aged 5-6 at TK Bhakti Pertiwi, Kampar Regency through word connection games has increased every cycle. In the pre-cycle, an average score of 39.06% was obtained with the BB (Not Yet Developed) criteria. After improvements were made in cycle I, a score of 57.03% was obtained with MB (Starting to Develop) and in cycle II a score of 78.13% was obtained with BSB (Very Well Developing) criteria. For this reason, a concrete application is needed to be able to find the right way to deal with children's gross motor skills, namely playing hide and seek. This research aims to find out whether playing hide and seek can improve gross motor skills in children aged 5-6 years at TK Bhakti Pertiwi, Kampar Regency. This type of research is classroom action research which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately created and occur in a class together with a total of 13 children. Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, a conclusion was drawn regarding the results of this research, namely that the application of playing hide and seek can improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Bhakti Pertiwi, Kampar Regency. The gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 at TK Bhakti Pertiwi, Kampar Regency through playing hide and seek have increased every cycle. In the pre-cycle, an average score of 38.85% was obtained with the BB (Not Yet Developed) criteria. After improvements were made in cycle I, a score of 54.04% was obtained with MB (Starting to Develop) and in cycle II a score of 80.19% was obtained with BSB (Very Well Developing) criteria. Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, a conclusion was drawn regarding the results of this research, namely that the implementation of the number bottle cap game activity can improve the cognitive abilities of children aged 5-6 years at TK Bhakti Pertiwi Kampar Regency. For this reason, a concrete application is needed to be able to find the right way regarding children's gross motor skills, namely the application of the Jump Zig Zag game. This research aims to find out whether the application of the Jump Zig Zag game can improve gross motor skills in children aged 5-6 years at the TK Dharma Wanita , Kampar Regency. This type of research is classroom action research which is an examination of learning activities in the form of actions, which are deliberately created and occur in a class together with a total of 16 children consisting of 8 boys and 8 girls. . Data collection techniques for data collection in this research are observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this research is the percentage technique. From the results of classroom action research and discussions as described, the conclusion regarding the results of this research is that using the Jump Zig Zag game can improve the gross motor skills of children aged 5-6 years at TK Dharma Wanita , Kampar Regency. Abstract

The background of this study is the low ability of children in the aspect of religious and moral values, especially in the ability of children to memorize short prayers, The researchers tried to offer a solution to this problem in the form of applying the talaqqi method at RA Al-Ishlah. The type of research conducted is classroom action research which is carried out in 2 cycles with the following stages; planning stage, implementation stage, observation stage and reflection stage. The data collection techniques used are observation and interview, then the data is processed with quantitative and qualitative data analysis techniques. The application of the talaqqi method can determine the weaknesses and strengths of the ability to memorize short prayers. Before the action was taken, the ability to memorize still needed to be improved because there were still many children who could not memorize short prayers such as prayers for riding a vehicle, prayers for both parents, and there were still many sounds letters that were still wrong and incorrect. This is based on an increase in success that occurs continuously where before the action is taken, the child's ability to memorize short prayers only reaches a value of 69.09% with less criteria. After planning and implementing actions in cycle1, the results obtained increased to 94.76% with good criteria. Therefore, the activity of memorizing short prayers with the talaqqi method in learning activities is able to improve children's ability to memorize short prayers at RA Al-Ishlah. Abstract

Character education is the basis for realizing the vision of national development, namely to create a society with noble, moral, ethical, cultured and civilized character based on the Pancasila philosophy. Character education at an early age is very important, because by instilling strong character in children, it is hoped that they will become the next generation of the nation who are strong and have character in accordance with Indonesia's noble values ​​and can overcome current national problems. The purpose of this research is to show and provide an overview of the use of children's songs as a medium for character and character education in kindergarten Tuah Negeri Pekanbaru This research is qualitative research so it will produce descriptive data in the form of words. Observation techniques, document study and interviews were used in the data collection process. The technique for checking the validity of the data is by checking the degree of trust in the data, namely using data triangulation, with the crosscheck method of data and data sources. This research uses three stages in data analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The research results show that children's songs can be used as a medium for character education in early childhood. The character education process occurs when the teacher teaches children's songs and explains the content or meaning contained in the song being taught. The characters contained in children's songs vary greatly, including: religious, honest, disciplined, hard working, independent, democratic, curious, national spirit, love of the country, friendly/communicative, love of peace, environmental care, social care, responsibility. To measure the success of character education in kindergarten Tuah Negeri Pekanbaru teachers observe changes in children's attitudes and behavior while they are at school.
