Abstract

Research Background: A healthy lifestyle is one of the keys to achieving a good quality of life, not only physically, but also mentally and spiritually. This study aims to explore the relationship between the concept of a healthy lifestyle based on the teachings of the Prophet and modern health approaches, as well as see the harmony between the two in the context of everyday life. Methods: This research uses a qualitative approach with a literature review method. The main data sources consisted of Islamic religious texts, particularly hadith and the Qur'an, as well as scientific literature. Analyses were conducted to identify similarities and differences between the concepts of health in religion and modern science. Key Findings: significant alignment between the Prophet's teachings on health and modern health approaches. Both emphasise the importance of maintaining balance in diet, exercise, hygiene, and positive thinking. In addition, spiritual teachings provide additional motivation to maintain sustainable health that is often overlooked in purely scientific approaches. Contribution: The development of a more holistic concept of a healthy lifestyle, integrating spiritual aspects and modern scientific approaches. This offers a new perspective in health promotion, especially in religious communities. Conclusion: A healthy lifestyle includes not only physical, but also spiritual and mental aspects. The integration of health concepts in religion and science can increase individual awareness and compliance in maintaining health, and provide a strong basis for health promotion in the community. This study encourages the need for further empirical studies to measure the effectiveness of this approach in real life.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the integration of Islamic spiritual values with modern medical practices as a holistic approach to improving public health, particularly in Muslim-majority regions. The approach seeks to bridge the gap between physical and spiritual health through a framework that accommodates religious, cultural, and socio-economic aspects.  The method employed is qualitative literature review, utilizing content analysis and interpretative analysis of relevant scholarly sources.  The main findings reveal that Islamic values can play a strategic role in creating more inclusive and effective healthcare services, through community-based policies and synergy between traditional and modern medicine. The study also identifies barriers such as inadequate regulations, limited access, and misconceptions about traditional and modern medicine, which can be addressed through stricter regulations and public education.   This research contributes to developing a new paradigm in health policy by integrating religion and science, offering a multidisciplinary and contextual perspective. It highlights the importance of collaboration among governments, medical practitioners, and local communities in creating a holistic healthcare system.   In conclusion, the integration of Islamic spiritual values with modern medical practices holds significant potential for enhancing public health outcomes while fostering harmonious dialogue between religion and science for the future.

Abstract

Background: This research makes a new contribution by proposing a framework for technology integration in Islamic education based on the values of the Quran and Hadith. The integration of technology in Islamic education presents both challenges and opportunities. Methode: The research method of this study is qualitative with a systematic literature study model. The data collected was analysed using thematic analysis techniques to identify relevant patterns and themes. Furthermore, this study developed a prototype of Islamic value-based digital implication, which was trialled in several educational institutions. Main Findings: This research reveals that technology, particularly through e-learning platforms, mobile applications, and social media, has brought about significant transformations in Islam by increasing accessibility, interactivity, and flexibility, particularly in education. Contribution:  This research makes an important contribution by proposing a framework for technology integration in Islam that is based on the values of the Qur'an and Hadith. The proposed framework encompasses not only technical and pedagogical dimensions, but also places significant emphasis on ethical and spiritual aspects. Conclusion: The research also offers concrete solutions to address challenges such as the digital divide and the loss of traditional values through technology-based curriculum design aligned with Islamic principles, thus providing both academic and practical benefits.

Abstract

Background: This research focuses on the integration of science and religion through the study of Kauniyah verses in the Qur'an, which discuss natural phenomena such as astronomy and geology. The formulation of this research problem is how to integrate modern science with Islamic teachings through a holistic approach that combines material, imaginary, and divine dimensions. Methods: The method used is a qualitative literature study, by analysing Kauniyah verses, Islamic literature, and the development of science in Islamic history, especially during the golden age of Islam. Main Findings: A holistic model of science and religion integration that combines textual (bayani), intuitive (irfani) and demonstrative (burhani) approaches with empirical and rational methodologies. This model offers an alternative paradigm to the secular and mechanistic Western science. Contribution:  The contribution of this research lies in the integrative framework that can be used to develop revelation-based scientific findings, as well as enrich the global scientific discourse with a balanced Islamic perspective between science and religion. Conclusion: The conclusion of this study confirms that the integration of science and religion is not only possible, but also necessary to overcome the limitations of the modern scientific paradigm. Future research is recommended to test this model in a broader context, including the fields of technology, environment, and medicine, and to develop educational curricula that integrate science and religion.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the condition of the COVID-19 pandemic, which requires learning to be carried out online or online. Thus forcing teachers to be creative in preparing learning tools that can be used online. From several commonly used learning media or devices such as the Whatsapp Group, there are still obstacles to be faced. The research entitled "Development of MS-Based Arabic Learning Management System (LMS). PowerPoint 365 at Islamic Boarding Schools" was implemented. This study aimed to produce a Microsoft PowerPoint 365-based Arabic Learning Management System (LMS) product on al mihnah (profession) material at Islamic boarding school-based MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Proto. The resulting LMS is a good and effective product and improves students' Arabic language learning. This Learning Management System (LMS) develops using the Borg & Gall model. The procedure for creating this LKS goes through the following stages: (1) the research and data collection stage, (2) the planning stage, (3) the initial product draft planning stage, (4) the expert validity testing stage, (5) the product revision stage, (6) dissemination, and implementation stages. Based on the results of the LMS validation, overall, it was declared valid with a total percentage of 78.66%. Based on the results of the student response questionnaire as a practicality test, a portion of 88.22 was obtained. At the same time, the results of the students' post-test got an average value of the control class of 64.38, while the average of the experimental course was 86.89. This shows that the LMS is effectively used. The results of the t-test on the post-test results manually yielded a t-value of 5.2. Using db = 73 and with a significance level of 5%, a t-table value of 1.992997 is obtained. This shows that there are differences between the classes being compared. While the test results using SPSS 16.0 obtained a significance level of 0.000, there are differences between the types being compared. From the two tests above, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using LMS on al mihnah (profession) material for class VIII MTs Salafiyah Syafi'iyah Proto which is based on Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

Research Background: This research is concerned with the relationship between science and religion, which are often seen as two opposing entities. Despite differences in their methodologies, many views propose that science and religion can complement each other in the search for a more comprehensive truth. Methods: This research uses a qualitative approach with desk research techniques to examine the concept and scope of harmonisation of science and religion. Key findings: The results show that science and religion, despite differences in approach and purpose, both aim to understand reality and human existence. Science provides empirical explanations of natural phenomena, while religion offers meaning and purpose in life. Contribution: this research is to emphasise that science and religion should not be viewed in terms of conflict, but rather as two perspectives that can support and collaborate with each other. Conclusion: it is important to encourage constructive dialogue between scientists and religious leaders to understand life's phenomena more deeply, given the humanitarian challenges and contemporary global issues faced today. This research also proposes the importance of examining the practical application of the integration and dialogue model between science and religion, especially in the fields of education and public policy.

Abstract

Research Background: State Islamic Religious Universities (PTKIN) in Indonesia, especially State Islamic Universities (UIN), are required to bridge the progress of science and religious values in the midst of globalisation and technological development. UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan responds to this through the philosophy of ‘Harmonisation of Science’ to harmonise science and religion in higher education. Methods: This study uses a library research and content analysis approach to analyse curriculum documents, performance reports, and lecturer publications to extract patterns of science-religion integration. Data validity was tested through source triangulation and peer debriefing. Key Findings: This study found that the Harmonisation of Science philosophy is translated through three main axes, namely academic excellence, humanism, and moderation, which are manifested in the curriculum, pedagogical practices, and research culture. The results of the analysis show the important role of religious moderation in scientific development at UIN. Contribution: This article contributes by offering a systematic analysis of the application of the philosophy of Harmonisation of Science, filling the void of literature that was previously only normative. It also develops an interdisciplinary analytical framework to evaluate institutional outcomes in the context of Islamic higher education. Conclusion: This research shows that the integration of science and religion at UIN K.H. Abdurrahman Wahid Pekalongan has been holistically implemented through three main scientific paradigms: UIN Unggul, UIN Humanis, and UIN Moderat, which combine Islamic values with contemporary science. Further studies are needed to explore the implementation of these paradigms in various faculties.

Abstract

Research Background: This study aims to analyse business ethics in Islam by focusing on two verses of the Qur'an, namely Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 282 and Q.S. Al-Maidah verse 1, as well as their implications for business administration and responsibility in the modern business world. administration and responsibility in the modern business world. Methods: used is a qualitative approach with a literature study, relying on academic literature and tafsir to explore the meaning and application of the principles of ethics. to explore the meaning and application of the principles of Islamic business ethics. Key Findings: of this research highlight the importance of transparency and accountability in business transactions, which is reflected in administrative administrative records as commanded in Q.S. Al-Baqarah verse 282. 282. In addition, Q.S. Al-Maidah verse 1 emphasises the importance of commitment to contracts and social responsibility in business. This research also links these principles to the concept of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) in modern business, showing that Islamic business ethics modern business, showing that Islamic business ethics can be applied to create sustainable businesses. Contribution of this research is the emphasis on the integration between Islamic ethical values and transparent and responsible business practices. Conclusion, the application of Islamic business ethics based on good administration and social responsibility can strengthen business integrity and sustainability. However, this study suggests further research using a quantitative approach to explore the empirical impact of the application of such principles in business practices.

Abstract

Research Background: This article discusses the integration of Western and Islamic epistemology  in Islamic education as a strategy for shaping moderate character among students amid the  challenges of globalization and the dichotomy of knowledge. The focus of this study is how Islamic  revelatory values can be synergized with Western rationality and empiricism in educational  practice. The research question addressed includes the lack of empirical studies on the implementation of this epistemological integration in the curriculum and teaching methods of  Islamic educational institutions.Methods: This research employs a qualitative approach through literature review using a descriptive-analytical method.  The key findings: indicate that integrative approaches, such as the use of contextual and value based learning, can shape students' characters to be tolerant, fair, and open-minded.  Contribution: This article contributes the concept of a transintegrative paradigm that unites  revelation and reason pedagogically to form individuals who are religious, rational, and humanistic.  Conclusion: the integration of Western and Islamic epistemology is important for realizing holistic  and contextual Islamic education. Such education can produce a generation that is not only  intellectually intelligent but also morally mature and ready to live in a pluralistic society.

Abstract

Background: This study aims to analyze how TikTok trends influence the social lives of teenagers in Pekalongan Regency and how this phenomenon can be interpreted through Al-Afghani's social perspective, particularly in relation to the role of media and education in shaping social awareness among the community. Method: This study employs a qualitative descriptive research design. Primary data were collected through in-depth interviews with selected TikTok users participating as respondents. Key Findings: This study found that TikTok trends are not merely a form of entertainment but have shaped the social interaction patterns of adolescents. Contribution: The integration of Al-Afghani's perspective to analyze social media phenomena at the local level. This study expands understanding of how symbolic capital and hyperreality are formed among adolescents as a response to global digital trends. Conclusion: TikTok is not merely a trend but creates patterns of symbolic capital and hyperreality, thereby shaping social interaction patterns among adolescents in Pekalongan Regency. This study can be further developed through broader research with a larger sample size or different social media platforms.
