Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode asosiatif kausal yang bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh cashback, diskon, dan kemudahan penggunaan Shopee PayLater terhadap pembelian impulsif mahasiswa Gen Z Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu mahasiswa Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa yang menggunakan Shopee PayLater. Jumlah sampel sebanyak 100 responden yang dipilih menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Data dikumpulkan melalui penyebaran kuesioner secara langsung (offline) kepada responden, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan teknik regresi linear berganda dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 25. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan penggunaan Shopee PayLater berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif, sedangkan variabel cashback dan diskon tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pembelian impulsif mahasiswa Gen Z Universitas Teknologi Sumbawa. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa kemudahan sistem pembayaran menjadi faktor utama yang mendorong terjadinya pembelian impulsif, sementara insentif promosi berupa cashback dan diskon belum mampu memengaruhi perilaku pembelian secara signifikan.

Abstract

This study examines the determinants influencing ShopeePay adoption among Generation Z, focusing on system usability, transaction security, digital lifestyle, and financial literacy. Data were collected from 75 Generation Z ShopeePay users residing in Palembang City through an online questionnaire, using non-probability sampling with an incidental approach. The findings reveal that system usability has a positive but statistically insignificant effect on ShopeePay adoption, whereas transaction security, digital lifestyle, and financial literacy demonstrate positive and significant influences, with digital lifestyle emerging as the most dominant factor. These results are expected to contribute to the literature on digital finance and consumer behavior, particularly in understanding e-wallet adoption among Generation Z.

Abstract

Since 2021, the government has begun introducing the Merdeka Curriculum. Implementing the independent curriculum requires adaptation from both teachers and students. The purpose of this study is to identify strategies that teachers can use to adapt to the independent curriculum, as well as the problems faced by teachers during its implementation at SMA Negeri 1 Montasik. This study uses Talcott Parsons' theory of functional structure, namely the AGIL theory. The author employs a qualitative descriptive research approach, which is a type of field research. Documentation, interviews, and observations were used to collect data. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the independent curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Montasik still requires adaptation strategies among teachers. As for the necessary adaptations, they are in the use of technology, adaptation to learning methods, and social adaptation. In order for a program to be successfully implemented, the teaching methods used must support this Merdeka Curriculum program, student involvement in the learning process, and evaluation of student learning progress. The involvement of the government, parents, teachers, students, and the surrounding community is highly needed in the implementation process of this Merdeka Curriculum. To maintain this Merdeka Curriculum program, it is necessary to uphold the rules, values, and norms that have been agreed upon together. Teachers' adaptation strategies in implementing the Merdeka Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Montasik are still not optimal because teachers are still experiencing several obstacles.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of electronic word of mouth, online reviews, and price sensitivity on the purchase intention of Emina cosmetics among Generation Z in West Aceh. The background of this research is driven by the phenomenon of increasing digital activity among the youth, which influences purchasing behavior patterns, particularly regarding domestic cosmetic products. The research methodology employed is quantitative with an associative approach. Data were collected from respondents who are consumers of Emina cosmetics through questionnaires as the primary instrument, using both online and offline data collection techniques. Data analysis was performed using SPSS version 27, involving validity and reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple regression analysis. The results indicate that electronic word of mouth, online reviews, and price sensitivity have a positive and significant partial influence on the purchase intention of Emina cosmetics. Simultaneously, these three variables also significantly influence purchase intention with a coefficient of determination (R^2) of 0.821, meaning that 82.1% of the variation in purchase intention can be explained by the three independent variables in the model. These findings are consistent with consumer behavior theory, communication theory, price sensitivity theory, and electronic word of mouth theory, which emphasize that consumer behavior is formed through communication processes, price perception, and digital information evaluation. Therefore, the results of this study are expected to provide practical contributions to cosmetic companies in developing more effective digital marketing strategies and strengthening consumer trust in the digital era.

Abstract

The rapid development of communication technology and the high level of social media usage in Indonesia have intensified competition among instant messaging applications in retaining users. Although LINE was once one of the most popular applications, in recent years there has been a decline in the number of active users, which is believed to be influenced by the removal of several key features, a decrease in perceived usefulness, and various complaints related to system quality. The condition raises questions regarding the factors that influence users’ intentions to continue using the LINE application on an ongoing basis. This study aims to analyze the effect of System Quality and Perceived Usefulness on the Continuance Intention of the LINE application, with Satisfaction acting as a mediating variable. A quantitative approach was employed through an online survey involving 200 respondents in Jakarta who had used LINE for at least the past year. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS). The results indicate that system quality and perceived usefulness have a positive and significant effect on satisfaction. Furthermore, perceived usefulness and satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on continuance intention. However, system quality is proven to have no significant effect on continuance intention. The indirect effect findings indicate that satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between system quality and perceived usefulness on continuance intention.

Abstract

Customers use of banking services is changing as a result of the growth of digital banking in Indonesia. Customer loyalty is essential to the long-term viability of digital banking use due to the increasingly intense competition. The purpose of this study is to examine how customer loyalty is impacted by perceived security and perceived ease of use, using customer trust as a mediating factor among users of the XYZ Bank application. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 150 university students in East Jakarta who are active users of the XYZ Bank application. Structural Equation Modeling based on Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was the data analysis method employed. The findings demonstrate that customer loyalty and customer trust are positively and significantly impacted by perceived security and perceived ease of use. Furthermore, it has been demonstrated that customer trust increases customer loyalty and can moderate the impact of perceived security and perceived ease of use on customer loyalty.

Abstract

The rapid growth of online games driven by digital economic ecosystems has intensified the use of virtual currencies and microtransaction activities, such as Robux purchases within the Roblox platform. This phenomenon gives rise to issues concerning users’ perceived value and trust, which potentially affect their levels of satisfaction and loyalty. This study seeks to examine the influence of perceived value and trust on customer loyalty, with customer satisfaction serving as a mediating variable among Roblox game users. A quantitative research design was adopted by distributing an online survey to 100 respondents from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, who had prior experience purchasing Robux. The data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique. The findings demonstrate that perceived value and trust exert positive and significant effects on both customer satisfaction and customer loyalty. Furthermore, customer satisfaction is found to have a positive and significant impact on customer loyalty. The mediation analysis reveals that customer satisfaction significantly mediates the relationship between perceived value and customer loyalty, while it does not mediate the effect of trust on customer loyalty. These results indicate that customer loyalty among Roblox users is predominantly shaped by perceived value and trust through direct pathways, whereas customer satisfaction functions selectively as a mediating mechanism.

Abstract

Waste management has become a crucial issue in school environments as it affects cleanliness, health, and students’ ecological awareness. SMP Negeri 23 Bandar Lampung faces the challenge of low student concern in sorting and utilizing waste, which requires innovative approaches through creative waste management. This study aims to provide a practical solution by transforming waste into useful products while enhancing students’ skills and environmental awareness. The method applied was a participatory approach involving creative recycling workshops, direct observation, and mentoring activities where students produced simple products such as handicrafts, plant pots, and household tools from waste materials. The results indicate that creative waste management not only reduces waste volume but also fosters creativity, collaboration, and responsibility among students toward their school environment. Therefore, creative-based waste management can serve as a practical solution as well as a sustainable educational medium in schools.

Abstract

Fire is a non-natural disaster that has a major impact, especially in developing countries like Indonesia. Early childhood is a vulnerable group, but has not received much education on appropriate disaster mitigation. This study developed an educational game “Pahlawan Cilik” to introduce fire mitigation to children aged 4–6 years. The method used was pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest model. The results showed an increase in children's understanding after participating in the game. This game is effective because it involves visual, motoric, and emotional aspects in the learning process.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the decision-making process at Penta Coffee, a home-based coffee business that operates using a pre-order (PO) system. This system creates a different decision-making dynamic compared to regular coffee shops because the owner must carefully consider production timing, raw material availability, customer orders, and customer satisfaction within a limited timeframe. A qualitative method with an explanatory survey approach was used to understand the owner’s decision-making patterns when facing challenges in managing labor, capital, raw materials, and marketing. The results show that Penta Coffee's owner combines rational and intuitive decision-making styles. Decisions related to capital and raw material procurement tend to be rational, based on demand data, raw material prices, and profit margins. Meanwhile, marketing and customer service decisions rely more on intuition, driven by experience and customer relationships. Major challenges include limited capital, fluctuating raw material prices, uncertainty in daily order volumes, and building customer trust in a pre-order system. The study concludes that the PO system demands high adaptability and rapid decision-making capabilities in daily operations.
